TV shows don't port over only movies and specials. Also note that some movies don't port over. I have over 30 films that won't port over to movies anywhere. iTunes and google play do port over as well as vudu.
Don’t do it. I earned 100’000 points so bought £100 gift card and spent it on movies. You can’t download them and watch else where it has to be through Microsoft and if they loose the licence to a film it will be deleted, whether you paid for it or not.

Shame Movies Anywhere isn't a thing here in the UK or exists anymore. Just wish you could save your purchased movies on Microsoft Movies & TV onto an external hard drive. If you could i would purchase digital movies a lot, lot more.

Can you convert your regular DVDs onto your Microsoft account with Movies anywhere
You can only do that with the Vudu App.
Let's steal all the movies on that program and make them free!
