This lesson is an absolute gem. This guy has more credibility than any yotuube golfers you could ever encounter today.

Effortlessly demonstrates two darts. One draw, one fade. That was sweet

I wish I had discovered this 5 years ago. Going back to the basics is the only way to fix chronic problems. Thank You, TOM (and Debra)!

So much wisdom from a true gentleman of the game. Thanks Tom. Love from England.

His books are excellent too. His book, Getting Up and Down, is perhaps the only book most golfers will ever need for their short game. Forget all of the other “gurus “ except for Lee Trevino who in his prime was probably the greatest wedge player.

Dave Pelz short game Bible. He TAUGHT Tom Watson, and Phil, and VJ, and 8 other champions.
Yea, Tom’s book is great, but because of Pelz!

Such a shame he didn't win in 2009(so close!!!!), it would have been the icing on the cake to a wonderful career.

The GO AT Jack faced legends and finished second to legends 19 times in majors. Watson's chip in sealed the deal in this clip.

Tom’s explaining of the grip in relation to the cocking of the wrists was a new insight for me. The cocking of the wrists is as subtle as the un cocking of the wrists. Holding the club lightly is better understood by realizing that to grip the club tightly doesn’t allow for the necessary focus of keeping the left arm straight in the backswing and downswing.

poor Jack. It's probably the only time I saw him look like/he thought he had a tournament wrapped up before the last shot was hit. Could you imagine Nicklaus with another U.S. Open and 19 majors. Incredible still.............

"Now let's try it with a 3 iron" (24:30 minutes)😅 NOPE, my longest iron these days is a 5. I hit the easy button and play fairway woods beyond 5 iron. Awesome video.

Once he writes a letter to Augusta to beg McCord to come back, I’ll “respect” and watch his game…. til then, may you forever live in the shadow of the GOAT

I don't know anyone that hasn't shot their mouth off and later regretted it. Still a world class player, if not a human being

@@jeffreybone3445 I’ve known lots of people to shoot their mouth off and they regretted nothing… cuz they were right. I think you are human and I never plan on watching your game… oh no! Is karma coming for me??

210yards, uses a 2-iron. I actually liked the old yardages. Today it’s 210 yards,….and a 7-iron . I know, equipment etc, but I still like the distances they would hit.
