When I watch this it brings back the memories when I was a kid. Every year I watched March of the Wooden Soldiers. Favorite Laurel and Hardy movie. Day after thanksgiving channel 11. Simple best times. I’m 63. My dad and grandparents are gone. But I’m very lucky to still have my mom. God bless her. Sharp as a tool. My wife and I enjoy all the movies of the 30’s and 40’s. That’s the way we spent the pandemic. I call my mom and tell her the latest movie we watched on TCM. She remembers every movie every star every costar in that movie. Amazing.
I love the part where the girl gardening is like "No, I haven't seen them!" She says it in such an annoyed tone, like this happens every couple of weeks and she's like "Bitch I'm tired of your sheep problems."
What is the matter, Little Bo-Peep? I have been careless and lost my sheep. Say, have you seen them, Jack and Jill, During your journey up the hill? They're not on the hilltop, Nor in the wood. Did you meet up with them, Red Riding Hood? Don't cry, Bo-Peep, don't cry, To find your sheep we'll try We'll seek them far, We'll seek them wide, We'll seek them low and high! Don't cry, Bo-Peep, don't cry, To find your sheep we'll try We'll seek them far, We'll seek them wide, We'll seek them low and high! Oh, Mother Goose and Miss Muffet too, Have my stray lambkins been seen by you? Better ask Curly Locks fresh from the fair She or Boy Blue may have seen them there. Where they are hiding Tom Tucker may know Simon or Peter or Bobby Shaftoe! Never mind, Bo-Peep, we will find your sheep, No matter where they be! So be gay Bo-Peep, Though astray your sheep Soon home again you'll see! Give a smile Bo-Peep For a while your sheep May cruise in pastures new Never mind Bo-Peep We will find your sheep And bring them home to you Baa! Baa! Baa! It was the black sheep that led them astray! Baa! Baa! Baa! For this the rascal shall certainly pay! (Baa! Baa! Baa!) Led them away by the tales that he told (Baa! Baa! Baa!) Far from the meadow and far from their home Baa! Baa! Baa! Baa! Baa! Baa! Baa! Baa! Baa! Never mind, Bo-Peep, we will find your sheep, No matter where they be! So be gay Bo-Peep, Though astray your sheep Soon home again you'll see! Give a smile Bo-Peep For a while your sheep May cruise in pastures new Never mind Bo-Peep We will find your sheep And bring them home to you
Felix Knight in this classic movie, what a beautiful voice, theses are the types of songs he should of sung long B4 he passed away. In doing this scene he really demonstrates the power of his magnificent voice.
Felix Knight was certainly a tenor; he appeared in 3 Broadway shows 1940-42- including a Carnegie Hall run as Camille, the second male lead in THE MERRY WIDOW-- did a lot of operetta and radio work and and eventually made a solid though not starry opera career, singing both leads (particularly the Count in THE BARBER OF SEVILLE) and supporting parts at the Metropolitan from 1946 to 1950.
Smile Arnold you are on a candid Whoopi Girls that can and do talk....btw what if putin and trump try to take that away...? please explain what families across the world are going to do without Arnolds Hope? Banksy?
I recall feeling Bo-Peep when I fell for this guy and was wanting to desperately see him again.

Je suis comme vous.c'est mon film préféré de Laurel et Hardy.
1934?!!!
I watched this when I was a kid!
I thought it was made in 1970s
ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE GONE BY NOW! CrazY!
there are three versions and one was made in 1970s i think

That's Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary, only concerned about tending her garden
Just to clear up any confusion, Little Bo Peep was portrayed by the lovely Charlotte Henry. Virginia Karns played Mother Goose.
Thank you!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What is the matter, Little Bo-Peep?
I have been careless and lost my sheep.
Say, have you seen them, Jack and Jill,
During your journey up the hill?
They're not on the hilltop,
Nor in the wood.
Did you meet up with them, Red Riding Hood?
Don't cry, Bo-Peep, don't cry,
To find your sheep we'll try
We'll seek them far,
We'll seek them wide,
We'll seek them low and high!
Don't cry, Bo-Peep, don't cry,
To find your sheep we'll try
We'll seek them far,
We'll seek them wide,
We'll seek them low and high!
Oh, Mother Goose and Miss Muffet too,
Have my stray lambkins been seen by you?
Better ask Curly Locks fresh from the fair
She or Boy Blue may have seen them there.
Where they are hiding Tom Tucker may know
Simon or Peter or Bobby Shaftoe!
Never mind, Bo-Peep, we will find your sheep,
No matter where they be!
So be gay Bo-Peep,
Though astray your sheep
Soon home again you'll see!
Give a smile Bo-Peep
For a while your sheep
May cruise in pastures new
Never mind Bo-Peep
We will find your sheep
And bring them home to you
Baa! Baa! Baa!
It was the black sheep that led them astray!
Baa! Baa! Baa!
For this the rascal shall certainly pay!
(Baa! Baa! Baa!)
Led them away by the tales that he told
(Baa! Baa! Baa!)
Far from the meadow and far from their home
Baa! Baa! Baa!
Baa! Baa! Baa!
Baa! Baa! Baa!
Never mind, Bo-Peep, we will find your sheep,
No matter where they be!
So be gay Bo-Peep,
Though astray your sheep
Soon home again you'll see!
Give a smile Bo-Peep
For a while your sheep
May cruise in pastures new
Never mind Bo-Peep
We will find your sheep
And bring them home to you

We don't need to hear read the lyrics, we have ears, stop being a showoff please!
Baritone if I'm not mistaken
Tenor
