    Yeah that's pro level stuff right there. I don't do much in the way of body work. You've got your work cut out for you, but it looks like you're diving right in. Very cool!

    Dude, The gun rack in the rear window was so common in the 60’s & early 70’s people though it was a factory option!
    I got rust lucky on my 1967 that came to me thru my son. He wanted to pull a trailer and after 5 months of electrical and some rust repair, he stopped, deciding to do something else. Gave it to me. Fresh 350 cu in with a way big camshaft and new exhaust.
    I really enjoy your work and worked in shops with overhead rail systems with a 2 ton chain hoist.
    I enjoy the channel very much! Hope you keep going!

      @@EliteTruckRepairs Well stay safe at the races. I am waiting after I ate my salad and now time to charge my lumbar stimulator with electrodes on the spine. Yep, plugged in took on a whole new meaning this year. To bad they are shock below my belt, instead of above where they all knew it hurt. Wish I could walk and stand straight again. Not gonna happen now. Have a good Easter!

    How much would body work be ? I have a old c20 my grandfather given me ,once I can afford something like this it would be perfect

      It depends on how much rust repair there is, and how nice you want it to be when it's done. A full frame off resto on a c20 would be about 15 to 20k at the minimum.

    Jason, Always check the “Opti-Spark” ignition at this point for one crucial feature between type 1 in the 1992 Roadmaster and Caprice. It changed at some point a few years later on the cap. They have a fresh air intake that a hose from the air cleaner boot runs to a nipple on the cap. A second nipple runs out to the intake manifold and keeps air moving which is better. That is type 2.
    The cap was sealed but every time their is a spark, ozone (O3) plus (NO2) oxides of nitrogen from the atmosphere is produced. Combined, it becomes corrosive to the distributor cap and destroys it. Updating to fresh air in and ozone compounds drawn out to intake makes the distributor and cap last for years.
    You have to pull the water pump off to repair it plus, it is driven by the camshaft and has 2 different drives on the back. I think it’s just the cap & hoses otherwise drill at the bottom and drive in a short 1/4” (11mm) brake line and near the top, do the same back to manifold vacuum. It is like PCV, a calculated vacuum leak.
