Even with the “Christmas sales” the shelves were over flowing with ammo in California stores. Learned my lesson from the 2012-2017 shortage and have enough ammo for me and my kids. Buy it when prices are low and don’t panic buy. The old supply and demand rule.
Shelves are fully stocked and your right with those prices per box not many folks are buying this over priced ammo I see it everywhere Academy, Atwood’s , Walmart , all the same over priced gauging bullshit .
AI Clickbait based on nothing. Historically, Gun and Ammo sales will go down with Republicans in charge. Because of that, prices will go down because of over supply.
I’m cautiously optimistic and yet skeptical of a shortage or of some sort of government intervention. I don’t trust much anymore. The last shortage lead me to reloading. I make sure I have ammo.
Shortage so bad already that you couldn't even get actual ammo for the thumbnail, but had to turn to AI-generated crap to go with the AI-generated crap-narration, eh? Another for my "don't reccomend this channel" list...
Ive got well over 500k rounds. Been stockpiling for over 15 years. I rotate my stick with target practice. When i shoot 100 or thousand rounds i immediately update my stock and replace. But the ammo i practice with is always the oldest i have in stock. I do reload several calibers and have plenty of reloading supplies stockpiled also.
A nearby gun store sold cases of 1,000 rounds of 556 and 7.62x39 steel case in 2020. There was a limit of two boxes of any caliber. 223 and 556 counted as the same caliber, but you could buy a case of 1,000 rounds when they had one.
Two things I feel is 1 stores price gouging and 2 they seem to just make ammo for AR15 platform I was in a gun store the other day and you could get all the 556 ammo you wanted
Last year consumer ammo in the United States was 9 billion rounds every single person in the United States amounted to 335,000,000 by way of census. That’s 26 rounds per person regardless of age. Family of four means 100 rounds. How many rounds would you shoot before you were dead in a conflict protecting your family. Doesn’t really matter …. Get a lot more!!!🤨
If you guys pay attention every time it’s the beginning of a new year or the end of the year it’s always the same thing wait till after the first quarter they come back in prices they just like the fearmonger
It really helps the "shortage" when AI vids pop up, inciting panic. Bottom line; ammo/firearms HAD THEIR HEYDAY!! GOT SPOILED TO MASSIVE PROFIT!! Now, in normal over-saturation of both products producing high percentage profits, there is now a cooling off period. Supply, vs. Demand. Or lack thereof. Business vs. Buyer. Firearms are now becoming orphans. No "COLLECTOR'S MKT" as in past. Ammo is the only leverage available. So, business-wise, it MUST BE/WILL BE MILKED, for PROFIT. BOOM OR BUST. And life goes on.
Me I say if you can find good deals on ammo buy it, I buy as much budget ammo I can and if I have enough I buy a little better ammo but no matter what I buy ammo every chance I get it’s just a little hard to find 5.56 nato ammo I come across it sometimes but I also stockpile 223 as well
They ain't gonna be no ammo shortage stop with the bullshot ammo prices are falling do to over supply if a shortage was coming prices wouldn't be dropping
Ammo is setting on shelves right now because the price is too high

With everyone doing 15-30rd 'mag-dumps' every time they go to the range, demand will remain high.
