    • @PandaMan-xy1he
      @PandaMan-xy1he 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are reasons for this. While obviously the 20 round mag would make the M1 more effective in the short run, those mags are too heavy to carry a similar amount of ready-to-use ammunition. Or, for that matter, for enough magazines to be produced.

    Im starting to understand why people get rim lock with the way you single load. Youve obviously mastered how to load it properly but its interesting seeing you push the rounds in and back. something alot of people should take note of. Ive had my 68 finn mosin for 3 years and taken it to the range once and was getting that problem.

      Yep, when you push it in and back it keeps the topmost round's rim in front of the one underneath it, so when the bolt is pushed forward there's no chance of it hanging up. If you just push it in normally, you run the risk of having that topmost round behind the one underneath, so the rim will stop it from moving forward with the bolt

    I laughed seeing him struggle to finish loading the Mosins... Perhaps the “garbage rod” jokes have some truth.

    I have a mosin and can confirm that mosins will almost always want to jam when using the bolt
