Reminds me of "Battlefront: Elite Squadron" on PSP With Elite Squadron you could start on the ground, steal an enemy ship, engage in air combat, push into space and then engage in space combat, land on an enemy ship, battle your way to the reactor and make it self-destruct, run to the escape pod and jettison back to one of your spawns, all in one life, no loading screens! doing this removed a spawn point for the enemy.

Believe it or not Star Citizen isnt going slowly at all. It feels like I have to explain this every other day. Look at the man years of work put into star citizen and squadron 42 (CIG are making 2 AAA games) compare it to other triple A games. Star Citizen so far has less development time than GTA V, then take into consideration the scale and content of Star Citizen. It blows it out of the water, not to mention all the brand new tech and engine features they had to spend time on because like I said SC is the first of it's kind. It's kinda annoying how many people say it's a scam or they're being slow, because it's so easy to just google the facts. It feels like Star Citizen is going slow because unlike the vast majority of games, we were following development before it even started, then add in the fact that the dev team started from a very small number. If you dont believe me, calculate the man years of work put into star citizen (calculate average number of devs per year over the past 7 years, then times by number of years) don't forget over half the team is working on the other game. So divide the final number by 2. TLDR: The pace Star Citizen is developing at is actually decent when you take in account how many people have been working on it. Then you can take into consideration the scale of the game.
You can do all of this as well as desighn and build ships, stations and outposts on planets in a game called space engineers it is a lot more of a sand box type game than having set tasks before you can do other things.if you disagree thats completely fine and up to you please dont give me hate for thinking slightly different to you.
aaaah yes, i love this game. the pure rush of exciment when the main enemy ship goes down and the sirens start blaring - its time for you to haul ass to the hanger. and in the confusion, i tend to get lost so im desperatly running around the medbay, past the enemy spawn points, past the bording pod drilled through the hull, THERE, the hang- ah crap there are enemy soldiers all over the place. oh well, YOLO p.s ya drongo, you didnt show any bording pod action. on either side! that was a major seller for me
fucking amazing ; this is basically what DE told/showed us that Railjack was going to be like in Warframe... i just wish we got even a sliver of this brilliance in designed content

all those features (except piloting mother ship) were included in the original battlefront 2 the one who was made in 2005 (best star wars game in my opinion). EA should have preserved originals features that the game brought, but they didn't and i am happy to see other dev's did the job.
I’ve tried a bit of this Just seems like it needs some visual clean ups and balancing. Some infantry fights and objects you interact with get a little messy at times. Look at the old star wars battlefront games. Those are pretty similar to (but more limited than) this game. Also, War Thunder is a free, fun tank/plane/navy game and supports ultra-low spec machines.
Lol @ the people defending star citizen in the comments, its a bug riddled tech demo but it isnt a game.
You can do all of this as well as desighn and build ships, stations and outposts on planets in a game called space engineers it is a lot more of a sand box type game than having set tasks before you can do other things.if you disagree thats completely fine and up to you please dont give me hate for thinking slightly different to you.
So its old school battlefront, but First Person with more going on. Sold.
old school battlefront would be.....battlefront? (2004) and battlefront 2? (2005)
@@theoescamez8389 What are you talking about? There are no new ones, only those. These are not the droids you are looking for.
This game has so much potential. Imagine a Halo game with similar game play. More AAA titles can take a note from this game.
I really hope this review among others will give this game the attention it deserves
This game really needs to be more known. Sadly the developers aren't promoting it yet until they feel it's where they want it
aaaah yes, i love this game. the pure rush of exciment when the main enemy ship goes down and the sirens start blaring - its time for you to haul ass to the hanger. and in the confusion, i tend to get lost so im desperatly running around the medbay, past the enemy spawn points, past the bording pod drilled through the hull, THERE, the hang- ah crap there are enemy soldiers all over the place. oh well, YOLO
p.s ya drongo, you didnt show any bording pod action. on either side! that was a major seller for me
fucking amazing ; this is basically what DE told/showed us that Railjack was going to be like in Warframe... i just wish we got even a sliver of this brilliance in designed content
I believe Rupert Grint (ron weasley) was playing this game on the series Sick Note on Netflix.
Wow, this is exactly the game I could only dream of making. Thank you for sharing this.
Oh no shit. I bought that game a long time ago but it seemed like no one was playing. Glad to see it's getting some traction.
Thanks for introducing me to this one, I'll have to try it out!
That's elite dangerous done right, change my mind.
This looks awesome. Very reminiscent of the space combat from the original second battlefront.
really like the fact that you pick out games like this and ravenfield that have great single player. I'm def one of those that dislikes multiplay but like big battle games so it's awesome to find out about titles like this.
weird choice of weapons tho. in your first fighter, that looks like such an advanced, futuristic ship and then when you start shooting it sounds like an ak-47 or something. they couldn't get that thing a few missiles huh lol. anyway, great channel. subscribed.
Im actually kinda depressed i never knew of this title. I fell pretty madly inlove with planet side 2. This looks maybe a bit smaller in terms of battlefield but in terms of combat unit diversity seems on par with ps2
Awesome video, going to have to check this out. It reminds me of Planetside.
This game is basically the spiritual successor to Battlefront space missions.
so kinda like planet side 2 but in space and actually good? im in
Finally someone shining light on a hidden, or maybe the heart of the sea (titanic reference). I can never find a large group to really go all out on this.
Nice, the last game you spot lighted was also a real gem!
Star wars battlefront first did this on OG xbox. it was the greatest concept for a game. glad to see another game pick it up
You're always suggesting these great obscure games! You're costing me so much money hahaha Thank you though! Now I just gotta find people to play with...
all those features (except piloting mother ship) were included in the original battlefront 2 the one who was made in 2005 (best star wars game in my opinion).
EA should have preserved originals features that the game brought, but they didn't and i am happy to see other dev's did the job.
Meanwhile in Star Citizen: Charges 10k for the *ability* to buy a fleet.
Star Citizen: Official Beta release, July 2047
Sup beabea.
Trying to compare this game and Star Citizen is a bit far fetched, don't you think ?
This comment is just... stupid
@Shoogo all ships will not can. many should be added to buy next patch though.
I'm glad this is getting more attention. Hopefully the player count grows.
Yooo, finally someone talking about one of my favorite games! Insta subbed
Now if Empyrion Galactic Survival had THIS level of combat gameplay and graphics, it would be the perfect game!
You showcased this years ago, and I loved it from the second I seen it.
Reminds me of Battlefront II on PS2
I’ve tried a bit of this
Just seems like it needs some visual clean ups and balancing. Some infantry fights and objects you interact with get a little messy at times.
Beyond that it already plays and feels great been keeping an eye on it as it develops and would happily recommend to anyone with fond memories of original Star Wars Battlefront or Battlefield 2142.
Man, I remember playing AFF when it was a Homeworld mod. Always loved the game and the universe they designed. Shout out to the crew.
"underrated" is not the same as "unheard of"
i never seen or played this game before and i still know u should hit the stations guns first then the ship then u left the bridge you should be spaced for that alone.
ma dude sounds like the producer promoting his latest game on the e3 main floor
Cheers for the tip bluedrake went straight out and bought it. Keep up the good work you legend.
I have been craving a flying space dog fighty thing where turning has inertia too. When I see that I will definately check it out
The ship you're piloting reminds me on the Vic Viper
Do you need particularly good graphics to play this?
Asking for my younger siblings who wants this game but runs an Intel HD 4000 graphics card 👀
HD 4000 gang. Luckily just as a backup since I also have a modern desktop.
@@delphicdescant well I use a high end gaming pc, my younger sibling not so much 😅
You don't need great graphics, anything newer than a 460 will do for minimums. But your Intel 4000 is even below that, so probably not.
its still good bro. i have tried it on intel hd 520 once a year ago. it runs on 30 fps with dynamic shadows turned off. and with global details turned down to 3 iirc
Look at the old star wars battlefront games. Those are pretty similar to (but more limited than) this game.
Also, War Thunder is a free, fun tank/plane/navy game and supports ultra-low spec machines. Be sure to play with the settings and enable the low-spec mode, named something like old graphic support, I think. I played it on my laptop for a while, which doesn't have a graphics card.
