I will say, that can cause a huge pump in the chest because of the TUT though.

The experience of doing 1/2 push up but having your friend count it as 3 was fun but then immediately getting publicly humiliated on the pull up bar and running test was so traumatizing. Genuinely this test ended up really discouraging me from exercising for years after because all I ever experienced from exercise was anxiety and fear. I’ve gotten better about it recently though and have started to exercise regularly but running in a group still gives me war flashbacks lmao

We did the pacer test for running. The soccer captain and I, the cross country captain, ran for about 50 minutes. All the other students loved it because they didn’t have to go to class until after we finished.
As a kid with asthma, the sit and reach and the back saver sit and reach (where you try to link your arms behind your back) were always my favorite. Most of the fitness tests were embarrassing, and demoralizing (especially the mile). When it came time for the sit and reach though, I always got full marks, which made me feel good. Now I have herniated discs. I know my flexibility is not what it once was, but I digress
