This is really helpful, thank you! I'm a programs librarian and I specifically run creative classes for adults. I'm just starting to add candle-making into my repertoire and you've given me some good ideas to help improve my classes.
I especially love the bingo idea - I have been wondering what to do while waiting for the candles to set but never considered playing a game! Great idea!

My clients love bingo. I do fun little prizes and it gets competitive!

Thank you for sharing this information. I haven't launched yet, but I plan on hosting a candle making class in the future. The neighborhood I live in has a community center where events like this can be held.

Thank you so much for sharing such great information. I have my first large class in August and I'm definitely looking forward to the experience.
I also decorate my candles and I want to provide the same esthetics. At what point in the curing process do you have them to add the flowers?

We add them at the end, simply place them on the wax and use a heat gun to set them

Thanks for sharing all this info! Just curious for reference, do you sell these candles if someone didn't want to make their own? What would the cost be? Just wondering what the comparison is to what you charge for your class. Thanks!

Yes we do! We take custom orders for them starting at $65

For some reason I can’t find the dough bowls on the hive and home shop. Dough bowls aren’t really on brand with my candle business, but I live in Florida and people here love them.

They sell them on FAIRE.com if you have a reseller’s certificate then you can buy from that site.

I’ve never used a wooden bowl as a vessel, how do you know what type of wick to use ? Thanks in advance

Testing is important! I test all of my wooden dough bowls.
