We have done a Wax & Wine night and after the candles are poured they have an opportunity to play with making wax seals. Those set up pretty quickly and we give them a strip of wick stickers they can use to adhere their wax seals to projects later. It’s nice because it’s still within the candle theme and kind of a novelty project new to most people. We use tea lights to melt. It would be kind of cool if you had wax stamps with your ivy image on them. :)

You might think about silicone mats. They won't slip or slide and they don't have a big lip that someone could catch something on to send the tray and everything on it flying. If they work well you could even make your own custom ones with your logo.

We usually spent the waiting time with just talking about candles, perfumes, interesting scents and smth like that. Clients don't want to leave even when their candles are ready 😅

We play Tabboo. Think party games like charades or taboo or trivia, something you can theme around candles and fragrances. I made taboo cards from my scents and tell them to pay attention to the all of the fragrances during the class, it’ll come in handy later.

Melt and pour soap might be a good fill-in activity. If you have any future plans of doing soap making and related classes, melt and pour might be a great way to ease people into the idea of soap making without a huge learning curve and warm them up to being a repeat customer.

It’s a great activity. M&P solidifies faster than a candle.

There are bottles for olive oil that have measurement graduations for each shot before you pour it.

I know I am late to comment, but I wonder if folks would not mind having them sent through the mail or pick up. I did a ceramics class where we had to go and pick up our wares the next week. And if you sent through the mail you can additional goodies and marketing materials.

You need atleast a minimum liqour retail license since you already have an existing retail shop. You can sell the alcohol in your premise and have it also consumed in your area.
