    Bro I’m just seeing this I daily my ls 240ad well coil overs and rims as well. And I feel the same way it’s cool to drive nothin special but to people they love it

    What's the transmission and who's pan and headers and secondly dtop knocking yiur self and your car !! You have done it as most of us out only dream about it all so what I take did you use !! You have done a great job on your car!!!

      I really appreciate it! It's a T-56 and it's Sikky's Pan, Mounts, and Headers.

    I live in pretty much the same situation. not much cool shit on the road other than old dudes in vettes and I guess sport bikes. & I don’t have a 240 but I gotta butt ass ugly first gen frontier with a 260k mile ka that’s ab to croak. I could either scrap my shitbox and buy another shitbox for 3k, or i could put 4k into a stock 5.3/nv 3500 swap and have a one of a kind shitbox that’s pretty dependable

    How does the car feel in terms of handling after the swap? Do you feel the extra weight? Also what cam are you running. Thanks.

      Handling feels great! I want to say you can feel the extra weight, but it's so subtle, it may just be in my head. The cam is a BTR nsr cam. It's simple and does really well.

    What drive line and rear diff did you use I am ls swapping mine and that’s the last thing I need

      T56 with a sikky driveshaft to a factory rear welded rear diff. I ended up using this combo in another car I built as well. It had a 418 cubic inch LS and it held up to the power. With a ton of grip, the axles would probably be the first to go.

    i know the feeling i drive like in ass hole in this just a little bit like an ass hole not to bad though lol honostly when i see a car thats clean like yours i see that alot yeah we fuck around but we also care about the car

      If I had to guess I would say high 11s - low 12s would be pretty accurate.

      It's a T-56 and a stock welded rear end!

      @Daniel Towita The spider gears are welded, so the differential is spinning both tires all of the time.

      It's just an 5.3 LM7 with a cam, nothing too spectacular. It made 320 to the wheel on flex fuel injectors, could make a little more on e85, but not really necessary right now.

      I have the factory fuel lines to a Corvette fuel filter/ regulator in to a Holley fuel rail.

      It's a T56 that I found local. Supposedly has a Tick Performance stage 2 rebuild.

      Cool, I kind of figured. Was that your top decision/choice or did you consider adapting to anything? I’ve been researching adapting to a trans out of a NA 300zx mostly just trying to keep swap cost down.

      @@simonsaid1 Sorry, I just saw this comment! Yeah T56 was my top choice, just due to simplicity despite it being expensive. My next choice was CD009 which I had one for this swap bit sold it. I've heard mixed reviews on the Z32 trans.

      @simonszuba1777 Beware of using different transmissions here. That Z32 transmission may seem like a bargain compared to a T56. But there are a few problems you can run into. First, remember that LS mount kits are designed around the T56. Fitment will be less optimal with anything else.
      For instance, the shifter may not line up with the hole. Given that 240’s are becoming quite valuable, do you REALLY want to cut your tunnel to get it to line up? Also, the transmission may not mount properly to the transmission crossmember that comes with the kit. This could mean needing to modify it or possibly fabricate a new crossmember. But a MAJOR issue is going to be that the transmission won’t bolt to the motor. This means having to build or buy (if it is available) an adaptor plate and possibly a custom flywheel. This would certainly eat up much (if not all) of any money you would save by using the cheaper Z32 transmission.
