It's true, building a pc for the first time is a traumatizing and rewarding experience, I remember having to watch tutorials for each piece to understand how to screw a cooler taking into perspective the CPU manufacturer and then see that the RAM wouldn't fit later, or when the pile of cables from the power supply almost left me in despair because they didn't pass in the correct space, but in the end everything was beautiful and I felt fulfilled.😂 And WOW, you have a war machine my friend! 😮
I finally made the decision yesterday to build my own PC, so seeing this vid is pretty awesome. I know the bare minimum about the guts of a computer so any tips you'd care to share with a white haired old lady would be great. Especially 'what not to do' type stuff.
Everything mentioned at the beginning: - Read all manuals of all parts - wash your hand before and earth yourself - keep calm and everything’s gonna be alright
I’ve never built a PC before but I’ve watched my brothers do it before…let’s just say they used some very colorful language lol. I admire your control in this situation. The crispness of the audio is also out of this world.
Yess!! It’s calming. I actually really enjoyed this bc it wasn’t too much it was just a bunch of simple and ordinary sounds that was just really calming. Plus you get to learn
Dude intuitively knows all the triggers, and recreates scenarios where we normally get some light tingles.. but the audio and everything is so mind-blowing. Amazing job, every time
Aight, I can respect this. You've clearly done enough research to figure out what parts you needed and suited the performance that you require. Obviously I and many others could nitpick some of the parts for the price to performance, and getting CL16 RAM or whatever, but there's also the aesthetical question and I think you nailed it for the most part so... Good job. Hopefully you'll get to upgrade the GPU soon enough... Possibly when the prices are also relatively down.
@@MINECRAFTandSEB Generally speaking, the higher the rank, the better. But this doesn't really matter if you're running 4 sticks of single rank memory. Really respect you for putting all of the parts in the description. I'm a console player getting ready to make that move over to PC. So its nice to see that I dont have to worry about accidentally buying the wrong parts!
It's always kind of wholesome seeing someone build a PC for the first time. They plan everything out in advance, look up every little detail and in the end, the machine doesn't even turn on. But that's ok, that's part of the experience. And in most cases, they just forgot to flip the power switch on the PSU and the thing works fine :) Hope you had fun building!

This video title gave me so many flashbacks. I ALWAYS have to play Untitled by Simple Plan when I have to take my PC apart for upgrades or whatnot. ASMR might be a good idea after tho. Nice cool down. :)
For your first pc build, both pretty great parts and really smooth build. I take ages with mine because I'm absolutely anal when I've spent a lot of money. My most recent took me 3 bloody hours!! Mainly because my case is broken slightly and had to wing a few things. Gpu screw hole is frayed to shit and no idea why. 🤷♂️ Also had to do a reverse flow build for the air because my AIO didn't fit my case that well either nor my fans as my friend ordered the wrong ones for me. But I got there in the end!! Really good mate, suprised you didn't struggle with PSU much, that was my biggest headache with my first build. Well that and having an ancient motherboard and trying to screw in a noctua fan onto my Intel cpu and it not lining up with my motherboard properly and I didn't realise you had to force it in place because its awkward. 🙄😂 Suprised you had to flash bios should have been updated and said on the box? Was that because of the Ryzen 5900x? I was worried about that with my 5800x when I installed it recently but left it and had no issues. 🤷♂️
Took me 5 hours my first time building my pc. Since upgrading case and other parts. It’s gotten faster and can probably do it within 30min - 1hr tho. But to do it while doing some asmr u have a lot of patience
