Yup, I discovered this video yesterday and I still can't believe the song was recorded live. th-cam.com/video/-gY47jh7q8I/w-d-xo.html It sounds twice as good as the studio version!😎
The guy who does keyboards for them on tour I believe is from Reel Big Fish. Kevin Bivona is the guitarist and he did keyboards for Tim Armstrong and from time to time Rancid. Tim Armstrong actually appears on some of their earlier tracks like "This is My family," and "Got each other." I also recommend the song "On a Turntable."
I first heard Aimee Allen when she did a song called "Revolution" that was the theme song for a short lived "Birds of Prey" TV show back in 2002-2003. Didn't hear anything else from her until I first heard this song. I looked up the band and discovered the singer was Aimee Allen.
i saw this band before their first EP was out, they were opening for Rancid; i wanna say it was at Bogart's in Cincinnati .they were fucking phenomenal. i saw them again a couple years later, and once again they were opening for Rancid. and they had gotten better. did you know that this is the only ska song on the billboard top 200 in the last 20 years?
If you like ska at all, I'd recommend Less Than Jake and Streetlight Manifesto. Saw LTJ at Riot Fest in September and seeing SM next month. LTJ tracks: "Shotgun", "The Science of Selling Yourself Short", "Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts", "My Own Flag", "All My Best Friends are Metalheads", and "Magnetic North" to start with. Streetlight tracks: "Would You Be Impressed?", "We Will Fall Together", "Point/Counterpoint", "Keasbey Nights", "The Hands That Thieve", "A Better Place, A Better Time", "Here's to Life", and their covers of Dead Milkmen's "Punk Rock Girl" and Squirrel Nut Zippers' "Hell" to start with, and have fun! :)
Hi.. Greedings from overseas.. I saw last year a ba d from US here in a small Club in north Germany.. Got some beer After Gig with them.. very funny, nice poeple.. You know? :"war on women -. Or try some simmilar stuff from germany,, 🤔 :" Broilers - harter Weg "(means hard way).. *Enjoy
Her favorite singer is Joan Jett. She went through crazy abuse growing up, so music was her savior, Joan Jett in particular. It’s inspiring how positive she is, given how much she’s suffered.
@@waynethera2712 she certainly has. Check out her interview in Kerrang. Her attitude is amazing. It changed the way I listened to her lyrics. I love her.
Great band! I highly recommend "She Got Arrested" and "By My Side"

Great video. They have so many better songs also. There my favorite band
She’s got a bit of a Joan Jett, vibe and look.
For this particular song I always explain it as if Joan Jett sang for No Doubt.

@@SgtBearPatrol, that’s sad to hear. Well she seems to have prevailed and looks to be having fun.
