Still sounds like ur sayin' Anal n the Sniffers. Glad u guys are hearing how mega cool these guys are. If u haven't already heard it try Some Mutts!!
shouldve watched the video
This is a fantastic song start to incredible finish. Scogin is a unique talent.
Wish he didn't bodyslam his guitar there at the end, but other than that, this is up there in terms of one of the most powerful live performances of all time.
Nope, real deal ☮️ ❤️ 🏴
I put this choon on when I wanna start running and can't get motivated. Just a chugging good time
pump up the volume
How did I know they’d pause before the drop
I looove this Version of "Detectorists" so much!
Punk is foreign to Americans?!? Tell that to the Ramones, or NOFX, or The Dead Kennedys, or Blink-182, or Green Day, or Bad Brains, or Black Flag, or literally hundreds of foundational punk groups from the US.
I think that was sacasm, mate.
@WarmLittleDiamond90 Yeah, he said someone else told him that and I’m incredulous that this other person who said that to him would believe that Americans don’t really know punk music.
I believe its important to start with, I am not throwing any shade. This band is under reacted ti and frankly under appreciated thank you for giving them a look. I hope in your free time you gave a listen to moment of silence and then this one to see why everyone was whining 😂 much love
Stiff Richards and Civic are two other badass Aussie bands to check out that are newer. You guys are spot on about Amyl and the Sniffers capturing that old-school punk sound, but Amy is way more punk than Johnny Rotten ever was, lol! I just got my ticket to see them in April!
TY for reacting to this cover, it was so good and hit me in the feels and nostalgia.
Saw them in Houston several weeks back. These guys are AMAZING! Hayes Carl is also onboard and takes the group even higher. Fantastic musicians and classy guys too.
I was at that show in Houston! It was fantastic!
Some ppl have chins and spines. Learn your music.
No "undo" button. You had to make decisions and you had to live with them!
To put this band in the same sentence of green day, these guys don't know much about punk. They are the god fathers of punk!!!
The Darkness have a new song 'I hate myself'. It would be great to see your reaction to it.
Guys, I was at this show! Halloween night, Asheville, NC. He played 3 nights in a row following the Lord of the Rings trilogy, hence the costumes. My girlfriend, mushrooms and great tunes! It was a blast!
had to go and crank that blink song to 11! memories.. My sister and her husband our country fans so I'll have to force them to watch at least part of the blink video and then play them the country one and get their opinion. another good one guys!
They're from Melbourne, Australia. Huge music city....AC/DC, Crowded House, Olivia Newton John, LRB, Nick Cave, Jet, Air Supply, Men at Work, King Gizzard, Cosmic Psychos, Cut Copy, Dirty Three, Dead Can Dance, Kylie Minogue, Gotye, Tash Sultana, etc etc etc. I don't think we got them either at first but they are def part of the rich tapestry of performers emanating from here. They're based in LA now. Thanks for the review.
Discerning choice, Gentlemen. Nice reaction. The series (detectorists) is extremely evocative of summers in the UK's East Anglia. Warm beer. Old friends. Big skies. A slow pace. The introspection of middle age. Much loved here. Thanks for a thoughtful reaction ...
That and she has a definite way with words. Some people just do. T-swizzle too ffs
word! I have a 15-year-old 😵💫
@toneron 1986 has been added to the immediate download for offline Spotify. Which includes: dark side of the moon, lou reed transformers, beatles love, disintegration, and believe it or not...purpose by the beiber. Mines 26 so that's where that's from
Sweet! just notice this after commenting on the comment video huh did I get that right lol. yeah they're kind of coming up right now although they have toured in the US before I believe. there's a little short where she says they were outstreaming some other well-known bands but who knows what region. she really likes to hang her ass out haha
honestly I watch a lot of reaction videos and you guys are really polished. bros Don't have any idea how much work this is especially along with the day job, family etc. you deserve any cheese you reap. The video was humorous and polite and very well thought out. I don't think anyone could have responded like you response regarding MC5. that was epic! side note I have notifications on but somewhere in the vast world of Android settings I must have done something to block TH-cam? I really have no business in those settings anymore lol again great work I look forward to your videos. both in that they are good and of course nice seeing you guys again!
You guys are awesome! Sending you both tons of love from Charlotte! Keep rockin'! 💪
They’re still w fueled by ramen.
Dude, it's killer, get some funguys to hang out with to enhance, plenty of grinning going on there.
BMFS! Go see him/them, live. Will blow your mind, scantily clad hippies, families, kids, old, young, it's wild, wide open
I heard REN is OCD about post production. He does it himself.
THATS ABUSE. LMAO
I feel like Americans dont really get punk
Shane was an amazing song writer. Not many better. What a tremendous band. Rest easy Shane Daryl and Phil
One of the most under rated. He could deliver a song like no other. - Dave
Sturgill is thee man. Great review guys. Its a lot to take in but heres the quick overview. Sunday valley was his first band. Then he left and went solo and has played with Miles miller(drummer) and laur joamets(Lead) for most of it. He had a vocal hemorrhage in 2022 and was forced to stop making music for a year. When he came back, He was johnny blue skies. There is a reasoning for all of it but you will have to look it up! If i was going to recommend anything from here is his ACL concert set or the one on his youtube. Also he is covering a lot of different songs this your but you never know what ones you will get. From L.a woman, red red wine, and Purple rain. Thank you guys again for the vid!
Thanks for the info. We will have to check out some of those. - Dave-
An tattoo to PROTEST the boycott of a particular music act...I just cant say what the band or music style was that caused their exclusion. Obviously sinead had a problem with that!!!
Please can you check out some U2 ....' Where the Steets have no name' Famously filmed on top a warehouse rooftop in down town LA , amidst an entire army of of LAPD ordering their shutdown... one only has to look at the streets flooding with ecstatic people🤸♂️💃🤸♀️ like a breaking🌊 dam🌊 ...I think you will enjoy Also could you check out the late sinead o connor breathtaking performance at the US Grammys (before her controversy infringed on her) She opens the show spectacularly...her breathtaking vocals , her effortless beauty and of her bald head of course! She actually... (if I recall correctly) had something tattooed on the side of her head in protect of some band or music type that had been banned from performing at that time. Some live performances are really once in a lifetime.
Thank you, we appreciate the suggestion, we are both very familiar with their rooftop performance. It is definitely a great song and video. It is well known how much they loved and respected The Beatles. Listen to God part 2. - Dave
I like them. That was a dead crowd.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the guitar the guy playing slide has is a Gretch Bill-Bo Jupiter Thunderbird.
I think you are correct. What a cool guitar. - Dave
More like, dude, check out all these ads while a couple of armchair guitar heros talk out the side of their necks.
I don't get it. I've watched several videos of Sturgill, I've watched a TV special with his band, and I don't get it. As a singer and as a guitar player Sturgill is average at best. The musicians in the band are good, I like his guitar player, but the songs lack, and that's really the biggest thing isn't it? Take this one, it's a one chord song, got a boogie woogie feel to it, which is alright. but it never goes anywhere, it just repeats the same things over and over and over. And that's not a problem inherent in one chord songs, I love one chord songs, they are fun to play and as a soloist you can really take off and develop cool solo's, but that doesn't happen here. It never goes anywhere, it's just wanking. All of his songs are rather flat, they aren't bad, but they're just flat. They have no hook. They're uninteresting. Then I see people's reaction saying how good he is, and I just don't get it. I'll just say it, this guy sucks.
Nobody gives a shit
Well i dont know what sturgill you have been listening to but you have the right to your own opinion. I can say that i seen him twice this year and has been the best show to date. Maybe do yourself a favor and look check out his shows from this year.
@@Jlowe1420-pm8dp how about a link to something you think is really good?
th-cam.com/video/9gmo69aPpQ8/w-d-xo.html@@hasserl
@@Jlowe1420-pm8dpyou are right my man. Sturgill is great.
It's funny when people don't get it, it's like they don't get rock. Best band in the world.
David can you react to slaughterhouse ft kit
We will add it to our list Thanks - dave
I appreciate that....thank you...maybe U2 or Sinead o connor .. maybe ... I hope
umm.......Bon Jovi and Journey? Reall? You hear that? I also grew up in the 80/s and a musician. I didn't hear that at all. It is 80/s influenced.
Just the beginning reminded me a little of Runaway by Bon Jovi
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Found this
Well here's a recommendation. It was on that missing list. I'll have to keep trying to find that. If it doesn't already start at 20:40 the song I'm submitting it's Never Gonna Cry. Straight up Blues. Nice solo at the end. I love her she's right up there with Joe bonamassa. th-cam.com/video/nrr5rk0Qmpk/w-d-xo.html&feature=shared
We will definitely check that out Thanks! -Dave
Brighton Beach near the upside down blue house many more to See 😊
That is his pedal bourd. There's a his rig video.
Also this would be "the prison guiar" . His grandfather started making whilst spending some time with the state. This guitar has it's own story.
Billie had a youthfull rebellious fase when he was in heavy metal bands. People credit his chord structure and jam band feel in his curret music.
