Perfect timing,. I just finished (binge) watching all the other countries this very day, and I am an American. Love your work, Love your sense of humor ! Just Fantastic !
This is a big one,When you are done with all the countries it would be cool if you did all the individual history of autonomous zones and states in the US ( All 50), China regions( Xinjang, Tibet, Hong Kong etc), Russian republics( Chechen, Dagestan) , theres enough history that can be still be summed up quickly.
This one really exceeded my expectation. I thought I knew a lot about the US, but I feel humbled and oddly enough, I have more empathy and respect for the nation, with such a fascinating history. It feels like it's a vivarium with a mix of all kind of people possible. Going to California in a few weeks and now I'm really eager.
The longest history video ever! A great look into the history of AMERICA! Next is the first country to host a World Cup and the first to win one. It’s the Switzerland of South America. It’s Uruguay! 🇺🇾
Thanks for the analysis! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Huge fan and I love your videos but you forgot so many things philippine-american war, prohibition era, amelia hart, cuban missile crisis, watergate,Vinton certainly helps invent the internet and the rise of social media
This is because we are living in the Pax Americana, to quote the Broadway musical, an American musical, by the name of “Avenue Q” (2003), “but only for now, yes, only for now… it’s only for now.” In a hundred years from now, chances are that the country with the longest video that will be made shall be in honour of China or whoever succeeds us, unless it really shall be a multipolar world. It definitely won’t be the U.S. that takes the cake in 2125. This is a declining hegemon with its best days long behind it, just like the U.K. in 1925.
A very poor "super quick" or the war of 1812, should have said why the United States wanted the war.. *cough cough, to conquer Canada* also, New Orleans happened after a peace was already signed in 1814, it just wasn't ratified by the states yet. The war was not an American victory, rather a status quo antebellum, a good ol' draw
To constructaly critique if i may- no explicit mention of genocide being done against the natives, the Jim Crow and post apartheid of people of color, slavery continuing on with penal labor in private prisons, America's support of Palestinan genocide, America's rampant wealth inequality, the climate crisis, that America hasn't been the richest country for a decade (by GDP PPP) which would make it second, and that arguably since January 6, 2021 China surpassed the US geopolitically. Other than that pretty good
IT’S HAPPENING! IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING!
This was the best video you have ever made and in my opinion the best video on the history of America on TH-cam
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO I've been waiting for this one for years.
Perfect timing,. I just finished (binge) watching all the other countries this very day, and I am an American.

Quality video, deserves more views.
Very interesting to hear a sweeping US history from the perspective of a non-US teacher. Thanks!
Turns out you don’t need to go to university and become a full fledged teacher to know a bit about history

Yaay! So many things, must've been biggest one you made so far😅. You forgot ww I by the way. Or was it to small to be worth mentioning?
How is this the longest by far?
because American history is actually fun.
@UncleSamFreedom why do you even watch this channel if you don't find other countries' history fun?
Because we're the best baby

@UncleSamFreedom it's probably the least fun out of every major country.
Today's episode is extra zesty
