    How did your throttle go from left side to right side and brake from left side to right side? I dont think the camera could do that.

      Juho Rantakangas I’m not really sure, it must be something with the video editor that I messed up...

      @happy indeed I’m not sure what I did there lol someone mentioned it when I first uploaded it and i must of done something screwy in the editor… I no longer have the original footage, so I can’t fix it.

      kyle cotto that’s awsome! And it’s pretty easy to add up the miles on these new sleds.
      The 850’s were hard to come by here in Vermont too when I was shopping around.
      At least you know you have a proven 800 liberty under the hood though.

    Whats the oil consumption like on the newer 2 strokes nowadays? Sold my 3 4 stroke turbos last year and thinking about a 2 stoke for next winter. Is it a pita or a quart every few tanks ? I have no clue.

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Cee Bee There really not that bad.. I usually run about 1000 miles per year and each year I use maybe 1.5 gallons of oil. So I’d say probably 1 quart for 2 tanks for fuel. This is my personal experience with this 600 Indy. I know the ski-doo etecs get a bit better than that.

    I'm about to pull the trigger on a new sled. My problem is trying to decide on a 129-137 track length. Think I'd like the 1.35 cobra, or maybe a 1.25 Backcountry (if they make that)

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Kevin Either track length is good. If you stick to mostly trails the 129 is a very nice length it bridges the moguls nicely and is very easy to throw around in the corners. The 137 however will have better flotation off the trail… this sled here is a 129” with the 1.35 cobra and I really do like this set up.

    • @Kevin-ix4qz
      @Kevin-ix4qz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rockspowersports but... In your humble opinion.... I'm a rider who is newer (used to ride all the time as a kid), and I only have enough to spend on 1 machine (I would use my older 2010 rush as a sled for friends and family along with my 2002 zr600)... I've also ridden an assault, which I hated in the tight trails.... If I'm gonna drop this amount of money on a sled.... Wish I could test ride one. I'm thinking the 129 cobra with light studs.....

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kevin-ix4qz if you liked the nimble feeling of your rush then if I was you I’d go with the 129. I drove this one for a few hundred miles without studs and it was very fun in the corners as you could spin through them. however due to a couple icy close calls i installed 90ish studs(2 per row) and it made a huge improvement on ice but I did notice it pushed more in the corners. So I wouldn’t recommend anymore studs than that.

      @@rockspowersports Minnesota. But renting a sled here, all they have is the skidoo with a 600 ace motor. And it's about 500 a day to rent. For that money, I'll just keep mine... Know what I mean? I wish there was a demo day around here. Thanks for your reply and advice. (I can't stomach dropping 12-15k without a test drive! Urg!)
