One thing i don’t like about the new 850, is with that new front storage box . i don’t see how you can add a top mount rad kit later on like you could with the g2 can am . You either have to remove that front storage box or buy a xmr if you want top mount radiator
Yeah you just by the XMR because that radiator design is better than anything aftermarket by a mile. It pushes the heat down away from the rider and is very well shielded and easy to clean
@@MudPuppyOffroad my understanding with the xmr though is they ride like sh$t if you mostly trail ride . i added a top mount radiator location kit to my 2018 850xt to prevent the radiator from getting clogged. the new front storage box is great for storing stuff but sucks if you buy a non xmr and want to relocate the radiator later
@classicxl not the case anymore. This 2025 XMR 850 rides outstanding. Very comfortable. I do wish it had a little more front suspension travel but it's very nice until you push it to the limit.
@ I have the pro with rear bumper and extension. The 850 rear bumper is much better looking. I just had a better picture from Google and see what you’re saying. I don’t think it would work.
My XMR 700 does not have that stiffener. It has had no issues running over trees and pushing out polarises. 6 lb that high up is more than significant enough to throw it in the trash. That stiffiner was only added because of the crap winch bumper
I mean, the front bumper looks fucking stupid; but the rear rack I don't think is worth it. Nice to have something to grab on to pickup the rear end in holes. The rest I agree is worth removing though. I guess I ride 2up alot so I'm bias having something for the passenger to hang on to aswell.also those terache beadlocks look beautiful!
Having a rear bed on top of a rear bed is totally unacceptable for mud riding. I might put the steel rack off of my XMR 700 on it. It will bolt right up
@MudPuppyOffroad lol I was joking but I know they make titanium for it. There's a couple companies but 1 main one that guys use for ti hardware on bikes. They have full bolt kits.
Looking forward to your input, as always very informative.
Much appreciated!
Hopefully those rims come in a 4/110

Curious about the hp difference between the 850 and 1000 since theyre both 999 cc. Just a tune? Or is there more to it than that?
I have been told by several people and dealers that if you put the 1,000 ECU in the 850 It will make the exact same power as the 1000
I’d like the rear bumper if possible. Wonder if it fits a 2025 700?
You would need the rear frame piece that connects from the hitch up to the bumper as well

Interested to see the driveline component differences between the 700 and the 850, if any.
I'll be taking a bunch of measurements tomorrow. Rear axles definitely look bigger
The stiffiner was only 6lbs ...would it not be better to keep it in for front impacts going in and out of holes 🤷♂️

I have this winch on my 700 and it is good. I think you re gonna like it...
I will certainly put it to the test
YEAAAAAAA LETSSS GOOO
Dude this baby rips
Nice work, they should have made that high winch an option
I wish they would have only put this stuff on the 1000 and made the 850 cheaper
When will the ultra light 30 be coming out?
I think I'll have the first batch in a couple weeks. I'll post a video when I get my hands on them
@ perfect I’m gonna hold off then I just picked up the 700 and really curious how it’ll do with thsm
So get the 700 XMR or the 1000/850 , what you think ? Will be buying one soon
I'm going to have to actually ride the 850 before I can give you any sort of opinion LOL
dose he still have the 700 can am ?
Yep for now
But from the side the front bumper looks like a tongue!….lol
Enjoying the vids but you should do a hole for hole vid against one of the canams and the p5
Wouldn't be much competition there. The Can-Ams both have significantly more power ground clearance and are much lighter LOL
Didnt even ride it first? Wow

@@MudPuppyOffroad that's a good mod for sure then, give you something to strap a cooler to! 😎
Take everything off but the frame engine and wheels. Use all ti hardware. Then get a weight.
I'll have to see if I can find a titanium hardware set, lol.

You gonna sell that front bumper?
Sure, make an offer lol
@MudPuppyOffroad I will catch you out in holopaw one weekend soon we will talk about it then if you still got it 👍
I'd take all them parts if I was closer
Top!
In my opinion the complexity in plastic design and other stuff looks ugly. I miss the simplistic quality built designs.
Yeah the plastics on this thing are a pain. Still much better than my Renegades though
