This was incredible! So happy to have been a part of this. I did my own initiation within the hour leading up to it. I wanted to be fully present with this moment as a fully committed member of the Order and I could not be happier with my choice.
That was a beautiful experience. Blessings and many thanks to Philip, welcome and good wishes to Eimear. I look forward to celebrating with you all in person next year xxx
I'm still in the beginning of the bard course, but I feel very connected to the Order. But that I could be part of this beautiful and powerful ceremony is so precious to me and makes me feel very connected to the order now. Thank you very very much for this opportunity!
That was so beautiful and powerful, maybe it was best this way with so many who would otherwise not have been able to attend. Onwards we all will go. Blessings to all.
Outstanding. I'm not a member of OBOD but that just blew me away! Thank you for giving an outsider the opportunity to reach into the otherworld and share in your energy!
Just finishing my bardic year...blessings to both Phillip and Eimear. Such a peaceful transition of power. May that example be a lesson for us all. Thank you for letting me be a part of this “across the pond.”
What a beautiful ceremony! As a new bard, and someone who lives in the states, I feel very blessed to have been able to be a part of this. Powerful and so beautiful.
Congratulations to our new chief Eimear, and thanks to all who worked to put this ceremony together. Truly beautiful and a light in the darkness of this trying time.
Absolutely beautiful and gentle.. I felt I was there in that space with you all as I witness this exchange of chiefs. Full of compassion and omnipresence. A sense of connection and joy that brings people together. There so much love that each one of us can bring to the world we are experiencing right now and we need to remember to be here for each other. We stand together much stronger and wiser. Thank you for this message. I am very proud to be a part of this order and glad I follow this path of Druidy it's so open that allows and supports the flow of my Taoist and Zen philosophies along side it. Centred and balanced in the flow of inspiration of all things, blessings upon you and upon this land. So may it be 🙏❤
Dear Philip & Eimear ~ big thanks. Looking forward to welcoming in Eimear as new chosen chief. The community is here for you both, with love and support. All the best, Kieron
Blessings of gods and not-gods on the Order. Thank you Philip, for choosing me to assist with your revision of the Bardic Grade gwersi in the 1990's, as well as a place for Wild-Crafting Your Own Druidry. The Order can expect a gift along these lines in the next year, which I hope to be able to offer in person at Glastonbury next year.
I am not a member of the Order and am grateful for the opportunity to witness a ceremony of such importance. the music , although beautiful, is too loud though and drowns out important parts of the voices
I cant wait to see this! I'm just starting the Bardic Course so this is truly interesting to be coming into it with the installation of the new Chosen Chief 😁
In the Soul of the World, in the heart of the ancient forest, in the splendor of the Sacred Grove, where the goddesses and gods have brought forth the mystery and majesty of the One Thing, with elements forged in the heavenly stars, and elements tempered in the magma veins of the Unborn God in the belly of our dearest Mother Earth, with all my sisters and brothers of this beneficent Druid Circle, that spans all time and all directions, backwards and forwards, north, south, east, and west, above and below, and the silent mystery within, I hereby acknowledge and gratify this noble ending, and the sacred beginning of our new Chief Eimer. Blessed by the Three Rays of Awen, personified and invoked with power, fill the Cup of Inspiration and Instruction and Plenty of it, that it satisfies all our thirsts and the needs of all creations everywhere. I offer my talents and my time to assist Eimer whenever the need may arise, and my gifts are needed, I will heed the call, from the peace and sanctuary of the Sacred Grove, may the sweet blessings of the goddess be with you all throughout the years; and all those who've served the OBOD with gracious skill and love. Yours Truly, Treebard aka Franklin LaVoie
Hi Philip. Susan Hughes here Galway. I met you at Howard's funeral, I had been at his wake and after that shook for a while. I shake now, You look fresh enough to be taking a back seat, Eimear is the same, What should I be looking after Eimear with other than Tea, I have lemon balm, thyme, lavender, (soap) an Orchard, wild and wilder...are you the same? Dog rose hips, wild mushroom, elder berry. Níl bhfios agam...Níl bhfios agam. Don't forget I'm left handed. Swear to all the Gods.

Question: How often does the Chief stand for Re-Election? If the Chief is Chosen, then there must be some Democratic System for making such a Chose.
