Thank you for this. It will take some work, but this is a very important song to learn. One of the greatest songs of the last hundred years. Everyone knows it.
Hello, Florian! Thank you so much for your comment! I've been to Bordeaux a couple of years ago! It's a fantastic city! I have great memories from there!
I must congratulate him, for his excellent interpretation and tutorial, with chords and rhythms that he presents, it is a video so as not to lose any of his teaching. genius, go ahead
I watched dozens of other tutorials and decided yours sounded the best! I'm playing your version now with only one small change to make it a bit easier (F#m7, Am7 and Gm7 I play as one-finger barre chords) and it's absolutely lovely, thank you for teaching me this song!
Cool! Yes, if doing barre chords is not a problem for you, then doing these three chords with just a barre is way easier indeed. Thank you so much for you comment. And all the best in your musical journey :)
I'm so happy that you liked and found this video helpful! There are other interesting videos on the channel! I recommend checking them out! Thank you so much for your comment!
Merci beaucoup ! C'est la meilleure leçon que j'ai trouvé sur TH-cam. Et de très loin ! Super explication et morceau très bien décomposé. Encore mille fois merci ! Un grand bonjour 👋 de France.
Bravo to you bro..Thank you so much for your guitar tutorial on how to play The Girl from Ipanema. Very well explained and easy to follow and understand with the chord diagrams.
Nice simple explanation of a possible strumming/plucking pattern. Thanks for that. I have been trying somewhat unsuccessfully to get this song for years.
Hello! That's amazing! Bossa Nova is a universe of possibilities, I hope you enjoy it! If you need some tip, please, let me know here or on Instagram! It'll be my pleasure helping somehow! Have a great practice!
I always wanted to learn bresilian song before but it was too complicated until I found your videos (including mas que Nada). I don't use to put comment on youtube video, but I had to, Your are real experienced guitarist, authentic, humble and kind, You make clear, not long and super easy tutorial for us. Thank you again Rob.
Would be so nice if you have time to make a tutorial for the famous song wave I’m going to learn it but not sure to find tutorial on TH-cam as good as yours 😂 Cheers
Hi Robson, I spent many hours with your tutorial and had a lot of fun with it. Finally I reached my target to learn the chords and the rythem. Thank you, thumbs up!
Thank you so much Robson for another super tutorial! Please sing in Portuguese - it is so lovely to listen to. Looking forward to more... Best regards from Sri Lanka.
Hey I just really wanted to thank you for giving this tutorial, I love this song and I can play it even on guitar now, amazing ❤😍 left a like and followed you :)
Hi! Thank you so much for your comment! Actually I've already done a video on Aquarela do Brasil's rhythm. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/OdiN6xjwOwk/w-d-xo.html Enjoy it!
At 3:20 you explained a 2-chord sequence to be played in between choruses. Even though the screen showed the Fmaj7, you called it an Fm7. Minor glitch. That sequence is helpful because the Jamey Aebersold play-along-version uses that sequence as an introduction. My jazz band guitarists will find this helpful!
Hey, Jim! Thank you so much for your comment! You're absolutely right. It should be Fmaj7 instead of Fm7. But once you upload a video on TH-cam it's not possible editing it anymore! Cool, share the video with whoever you think it would be helpful! :)
