- I can't believe what I have received! I'm curious if I'll be able to do anything with these computers! Let me know in the comments if you have any ideas!
There is no affiliation between myself and the Sonic brand. This was purely a find and I have no intention of breaking into any of the computers. This was for entertainment purposes only.

But what version of sonic?
9:46 wow the music was timed PERFECTLY with when the time lapse ended.
H A I just now realized the joke here 😂😂😂
I would like to make some suggestions on this.
Image the HDD so you have a backup.
Check the motherboard for a Password clear jumper.
Try holding shift on startup. That can sometimes bypass the autologon.
This is the kind of videos i live for!
I think that first dell has a RCA port on it for video, on the card
I don't think I've ever been given any removed computers by a school or business.
My college has an early 2010s Dell desktop in the Veterans' Center. We used it once for filming as a group.
I love getting these computers, especially when they still have their hard drives in them, because I like exploring around and seeing what they did to them. The one I got from a school was because the school threw away all of them in a dumpster, and my mom used to dumpster dive and saw them when she worked there and brought me two of them (I dismantled one because it didn't work properly). It took forever, but the one I had that worked gave up a few years ago, and I didn't think it was worth looking into how to fix.
i just thought id poin this out but those dells usually have a jumper on the motherboard to clear the bios password... i would know because ive owned a bunch of these! heck im using one now to write this comment lol 🤣😆
try using safe mode with command prompt

whatever happened to the windows 98 laptop?
It's still alive, I had planned on running something on it before, it just didn't work out. When stuff doesn't work out, I tend to lose motivation and take a break
@@AllOverWindows try getting windows 8.1 on it, then sub. :D
what version of windwos do you think you can get it running up to, send the specs and ill figure it out for you. Then can you make a video about trying to upgrade it to that OS?
I hated vga dvi and display port. I’m glad computers just use hdmi now.
DP to HDMI or VGA to HDMI work well.
With the first one, you could boot into a usb, then rename some file in system32 and maybe you could cause cmd to open!
How could I do that if "boot from usb" is disabled in the BIOS lock? I know I could fix it whence I remove the lock
@@AllOverWindows Yea that would be tricky, but if you get booting from USB to work, then you could do that. My guess is on the motherboard there might be something you could short then it would reset
@Luketube10000 Yeah, that's what I was talking about in the vid
@@AllOverWindows theres usually a junper on the motherboard to clear bios lock... at least on dells like the one in your video...
@@Luketube10000 usually theres a jumper... you just move it to the other spot n it should clear itself
usually HDMI is not used due to licensing costs from the HDMI consortium. Also, I would imagine that they used DP over HDMI as the majority of the cabling for DP has "locks" on them to keep cables plugged in. We IT folk are a bunch of lazy bastards. ;) If we can spend our time on more important things than "are you sure it is plugged in" issues.
Remove the Cmos to remove the Bios password
