3 Zubiri to Pamplona | full etape | Camino Santiago

- Third étape of the Camino Francés, from Zubiri to Pamplona. The landscape and terrain visibly begin to change as we gradually leave the Pyrenees.
After the first two étapes this one always felt much easier again and the feet would happily walk to Pamplona just by themselves. Really love this étape!
Walked a bit fast here as I felt like attaching a second étape on this beautiful day (Pamplona to Puente la Reina in video #4).
All étapes/videos to Santiago de Compostela are going to be uploaded over the next days and weeks.
After many journeys on the Camino de Santiago in the past ten years, this time the focus lies on the video project. Thus not a lot of stopping during the étapes (some breaks and encounters are cut out).
COVID-19: Filmed in the summer of 2020 when Spain and the camino including most albergues were open again for a few weeks after the first lockdown. Masks in all albergues, bars/restaurants and when crossing cities. There will likely never again be as few people on the camino as in summer of 2020.

I'm enjoying a lot seeing these videos again after my Camino in May/June 2022.
This day I had a nice walk from Larrasoaña to Pamplona despite the pain I had on my knee (the downhill of Erro on day before destroyed my knee). But the beauty of Pamplona and the joy of a sunny saturday made everything better.

thank you so much for taking these videos. I plan to run the Camino Frances in August/September and this is helping me a lot. I walked the entire Camino back in 2019, but because it was a huge challenge for me then there are much that has escaped my memory. thanks again.
