I hope this testimony will help someone, I have lost my first son of SIDS, my second to cancer at age 5.. A drunk driver hit me 10 yr's ago i was paralyzed for ten years, 50 surgery's and Today i am not paralyzed, I woke up 6 months ago after praying and having faith I had no need for any of the pain pils, God took all my pain away. I am no longer paralyzed. We serve a wonderful God, that is no respector of persons. He love us. Stay focused on the lord not our situation

Two years ago I used to listen to this song all night long as tears rolled endlessly from a broken heart of pain and grief of losing a husband, my anchor was the Lord Jesus Christ and this song encouraged me to be still and trust God to guide my future as He had the past. Today I write this from a place of wholeness, I have rested and am back to serving God's purpose and so I write to encourage someone going through the pain of loss, trust God and lay your pain at his feet, may He give you rest and hope in Him that He will never let you go. Praying for everyone whose gone through loss of a spouse or loved one🙏

As I'm reading comments, I see the vulnerability and openness of everyone's responses. I was raped and almost killed by my ex 4 years. Now I am in graduate school to become Christian Therapist and work with Domestic Violence, helping couples work towards a God centered marriage. My mother passed away last fall from ALS, which is a horrible, frightening disease. She used to listen to this song to help her remain focused on the Lord and her place with Him. I cannot listen without getting teary. I'm reminded of her unwavering faith to the very end of her race. I can only pray I finish so well.
My sister passed away last April from ALS. She loved this song. Now it is one of my favorites. I think of her courageous battle she fought here on earth, the witness she was to everyone as she went through this terrible disease, and how now her soul is still and she has found her rest in her savior. She is singing in the choir of Heaven right now.
This song has been used by the Holy Spirit to soothe and comfort me in every trial of my adult life. And Kari does such a beautiful job in this arrangement. The woman who wrote it lived several hundred years ago, and it is still just as meaningful as the day she wrote it.

I am right in hospital. There is no diagnosis as of yet. But my soul is still. My trust is in Jesus. As soon as He is finished with me here on earth, I am so ready to be with my Jesus. Praying for us all. Our souls’ can be still.

My beautiful son had a battle with substance abuse for 7 years. He fought with the strength of a lion. He believed in God and gave his life to Jesus. For everything one going through this, I am with you. Joshua was only 21 years old, with his first girlfriend. Had a wonderful Thanksgiving and he's gone. I am grateful to God that this year 2022 I have decided to follow Him (GOD) so passionately. Since 2020 I lost my beloved mother to the cold hands of death, we talk that glorious night and she prayed and cried while blessing me and my children and I wept together so joyfully and I remembered telling mom that don’t be afraid, God is with you. The next morning I was woken by a call as early as 5am, telling me my mom has gone to be with the Lord😭. 5 months later I lost my husband, last year February 2021, 6month and 5 days later I lost my father last yr September 2021. You can imagined how devastated I was, but today I’m BETTER and trusting the Lord that He alone is able. I am My SOUL BE STILL AND KNOW THAT GOD IS ON THE THRONE. I hope
I don't like this song. I think it's too slow and the harmonies aren't all that interesting. They're conventional and don't really offer me anything I haven't heard a million times before. Moreover, there's a lot of suspended chords that don't really resolve the tension this creates causes the song to drag. I think the verses don't conclude well, either, since the final chord comes just before the last word. Those are the reasons I don't like the song. I just have a different taste in music, don't need you to pray for me.
This song helped me a lot when my sister died 3 months ago. God spoke to me through this song when my sister was in the hospital fighting. I think it's His way of preparing me to whatever may happen, and comforting me at the same time. She maybe gone, but I know we will be reunited in Heaven in time. Still hurts. I still miss her so much, but I know God is here helping us to heal and telling us to trust in Him.

I am listening to this song to comfort me. I was very sick two months ago and still recovering now I am suffering from increased anxiety and lack of sleep. I listen to this song to try and sleep I pray often and still feel as though I cannot rest or clear my mind. I know my family that are far away pray for me but I ask for prayers because I don’t feel like I’m strong enough to feel the lord beside me. I know he was with me wherever I go even when I was sick. I just cannot see to chase away my fears or become stronger in my faith. Ty for reading I pray the lord will be with you all always
All the best to you. Read God's word and belief His promises. Write it all down and say it daily. Dont speak about your fears. Talk and think of Him who loves you. Especially when fear seems to overtake you. Say those promises out loud. Go on your knees and wrestle with God. Do not let him go until He blesses you. All the best. Will pray for you. This is all that helped me when I struggled with the same problems.
Call out to God. We can’t face our challenges without his help. We try but only with his help can we make it. Spend time in prayer and study if his word. Another thing that helped me with Anxiety is a supplement I bought at CVS by Natures Bounty called Anxiety &Stress relief with Ashwagandha and vitamin B complex.. So I really liked this one girl, I was convinced she was the one God had chosen for me, even though she had a boyfriend. A few weeks ago, I found out she got married that weekend; this song was played during the service, and I broke down while singing. Not only that, the entire sermon was about trusting the Lord. I'm still not over her, but I'm doing my best to trust Him with this. A lot of these comments here are about really big things, losing three children at a young age, or multiple miscarriages, and yes, those things matter to Him a ton, but he also cares about the smaller things too. The Karen at your till, the mortgage payment when you're just shy on, your dream woman getting married to someone else, saying there was no one in the city, when you're sitting right there. Never forget Jesus cares about those smaller things too, and never stop trusting He will fulfill even His smallest promises to you.
God says he binds up the wounds of the broken hearted. We think we only mourn when someone passes away. Truth is, we mourn those we love when we loose them to someone else and it’s a deep loss and we mourn them too.
Yesterday while trying to sleep under the sound of rain over the city, I played "My Weekly Discovery" on Spotify, and when I started to overcome sleep... Kari Jobe appeared with this beautiful, incredible, pure and healing song. A couple of weeks ago, my two little kittens had to leave this world and they have been very difficult days for me and my family since my two kittens were an important part of my family and our lives. The pain of their absence is very deep... I only hope that my lord gives me the strength and strength to be able to accept the loss of my two kittens and that he only leaves in my heart all the beautiful and beautiful moments we lived together; I ask my lord to only allow me to be happy and learn to accept life as it is. I want to smile again, to be happy and recover my essence... In a world with so many storms to experience, it's a blessing to find a way to experience calm and peace, and I thank God that I can experience same through Him. My dear sister Mary Rawson, there is no believer who has not had his/her own share of struggles and times of feeling lost and without God. I don't always experience God as I should and I don't always please Him; I still keep failing Him. If God were to respond to me in the measures of my actions towards Him, I'd be hopeless. He doesn't work that way though. He gives grace to keep us going, and because of His grace we can experience His peace, redemption, love, forgiveness and healing (as I pray He will do for your friend). Don't be afraid to fall; we all do and will. Make sure however, that you don't stay fallen; pick yourself up, receive God's renewed grace and live! I appreciate your comment. God bless you!

It is hearing words like this that make me realize that we are all human beings, and are not perfect (there is only one), but God understands this and will always forgive us for our errors when we turn to Him for forgiveness. Guys, I was playing this song for my Mom, as it has been a comfort for us in trouble for a while now. We really need prayer. Our family is in a really bad state right now. Mom just wants to leave, but we are trusting God for a miracle. Until then though, we need peace and comfort and supernatural strength to keep our souls still.

this is actually what my struggle right now is, is having rest, be it mental, physical, emotional and spiritual, end of last year to now has brought a hefty plate on me but i do know God will bring me through it, i just have to get my rest in His spirit to find the peace i seek. so i dont care if your christian, muslim, jewish, Atheist, etc.... just keep me in your prayers, or even thoughts, i have struggled with mental health for the longest and im tired of doing it on my own for most of it, i have let God handle some but never all, so im trying to be strong enough to let go and let God take control, so thats what im asking for in prayers or even in thoughts. its gonna be a journey but im willing to take the road more, so i can be even closer to God and feel His presence more. I am happy I found this song. It is helping me a lot. I was in a state of grief because of problems, and when I started listening to this song, I could feel him in my me. This song let me know he is with me.

Very anointed song, God is a God of love, no matter how big our problem or need, don't run from God run to him. I had a severe problem fear, it made me ill, but then in the time of trouble call out to God, God never leaves, but as this anointed Song says, Be still my Soul, I did this, my mind and body were tormented, but in the stillness of his Presence reminded me, I feel I should share this because someone will be going through the same, In one moment God brings healing and restoration, Consider the Prodigal Son, when he determined to return to his Father, his Father greeted him with open arms, sometimes fear can be so intense, that we turn from God rather than to him. When I returned to My Heavenly Father, he gently said to me, "My child this fear did not come from me, for I did not give you a spirit of fear, but love, power and a sound mind", he again reminded me that fear was a spirit, that with it comes torment. We need to constantly recognize that, that our inheritance is a sound mind, Do not let your heart be troubled, because God loves you as well. my soul is not at rest, i am so depressed and i have been for years. I used to be a Muslim and i have been baptized for a year now, i have given my life to Christ, my christian walk has been hard, I have faced so much difficulties and continue to face them. I have cancer, a tipe that has no cure. 5 very painful operations. while still in the hospital my husband confessed he had betrayed me with many women (included my best fried from church )during our entire marriage. Now my mom died 5 months ago. My husband is not repented, he blames me for cheating on me and wants to destroy me. I DID NOTHING TO DESERVE THIS!!! WHY AM I HAVERSTING ALL THIS??? I hope this testimony will help someone, I have lost my first son of SIDS, my second to cancer at age 5.. A drunk driver hit me 10 yr's ago i was paralyzed for ten years, 50 surgery's and Today i am not paralyzed, I woke up 6 months ago after praying and having faith I had no need for any of the pain pils, God took all my pain away. As I'm reading comments, I see the vulnerability and openness of everyone's responses. I was raped and almost killed by my ex 4 years. Now I am in graduate school to become Christian Therapist and work with Domestic Violence, helping couples work towards a God centered marriage. I remember wanting to die, feeling trapped, almost losing my childen.
God is amazing, he never forsakes us even through life's troubles. I just love Kari Jobes songs, they are soothing, peaceful, and reflective. Anytime I feel anxious, I play her songs.

My mother passed away last fall from ALS, which is a horrible, frightening disease. She used to listen to this song to help her remain focused on the Lord and her place with Him. I cannot listen without getting teary. I'm reminded of her unwavering faith to the very end of her race. I can only pray I finish so well.

For everything one going through this, I am with you. Joshua was only 21 years old, with his first girlfriend. Had a wonderful Thanksgiving and he's gone. I am grateful to God that this year 2022 I have decided to follow Him (GOD) so passionately. Since 2020 I lost my beloved mother to the cold hands of death, we talk that glorious night and she prayed and cried while blessing me and my children and I wept together so joyfully and I remembered telling mom that don’t be afraid, God is with you. I don't like this song. I think it's too slow and the harmonies aren't all that interesting. They're conventional and don't really offer me anything I haven't heard a million times before. Moreover, there's a lot of suspended chords that don't really resolve the tension this creates causes the song to drag. I think the verses don't conclude well, either, since the final chord comes just before the last word.
Those are the reasons I don't like the song. I just have a different taste in music, don't need you to pray for me.

I think it's His way of preparing me to whatever may happen, and comforting me at the same time. She maybe gone, but I know we will be reunited in Heaven in time. Still hurts. I am listening to this song to comfort me. I was very sick two months ago and still recovering now I am suffering from increased anxiety and lack of sleep. I listen to this song to try and sleep I pray often and still feel as though I cannot rest or clear my mind. I know my family that are far away pray for me but I ask for prayers because I don’t feel like I’m strong enough to feel the lord beside me. I know he was with me wherever I go even when I was sick. I just cannot see to chase away my fears or become stronger in my faith. Ty for reading I pray the lord will be with you all always

All the best to you. Read God's word and belief His promises. Write it all down and say it daily. Dont speak about your fears. Talk and think of Him who loves you. Especially when fear seems to overtake you. Say those promises out loud. Go on your knees and wrestle with God. Do not let him go until He blesses you. All the best. Will pray for you. This is all that helped me when I struggled with the same problems.
Call out to God. We can’t face our challenges without his help. We try but only with his help can we make it. Spend time in prayer and study if his word.

So I really liked this one girl, I was convinced she was the one God had chosen for me, even though she had a boyfriend. A few weeks ago, I found out she got married that weekend; this song was played during the service, and I broke down while singing. Not only that, the entire sermon was about trusting the Lord. I'm still not over her, but I'm doing my best to trust Him with this.
A lot of these comments here are about really big things, losing three children at a young age, or multiple miscarriages, and yes, those things matter to Him a ton, but he also cares about the smaller things too. The Karen at your till, the mortgage payment when you're just shy on, your dream woman getting married to someone else, saying there was no one in the city, when you're sitting right there. Never forget Jesus cares about those smaller things too, and never stop trusting He will fulfill even His smallest promises to you.
God says he binds up the wounds of the broken hearted. We think we only mourn when someone passes away. Truth is, we mourn those we love when we loose them to someone else and it’s a deep loss and we mourn them too.

A couple of weeks ago, my two little kittens had to leave this world and they have been very difficult days for me and my family since my two kittens were an important part of my family and our lives. The pain of their absence is very deep...

My dear sister Mary Rawson, there is no believer who has not had his/her own share of struggles and times of feeling lost and without God. I don't always experience God as I should and I don't always please Him; I still keep failing Him. If God were to respond to me in the measures of my actions towards Him, I'd be hopeless. He doesn't work that way though. He gives grace to keep us going, and because of His grace we can experience His peace, redemption, love, forgiveness and healing (as I pray He will do for your friend). Don't be afraid to fall; we all do and will. Make sure however, that you don't stay fallen; pick yourself up, receive God's renewed grace and live! I appreciate your comment. God bless you!

It is hearing words like this that make me realize that we are all human beings, and are not perfect (there is only one), but God understands this and will always forgive us for our errors when we turn to Him for forgiveness. I just think we are so blessed that we have Jesus in our lives, I think without Him life would seem pretty empty. This is my go to song when I’m missing my dad. He battled cancer for almost four years. To see him suffer and shrink to skin and bones is what still hurts me but I find comfort in this song as he is no longer in pain. He is no longer in pain and is finally resting. Be still my soul. He’s finally at peace and pain free. Be still my soul.

this is actually what my struggle right now is, is having rest, be it mental, physical, emotional and spiritual, end of last year to now has brought a hefty plate on me but i do know God will bring me through it, i just have to get my rest in His spirit to find the peace i seek. so i dont care if your christian, muslim, jewish, Atheist, etc.... just keep me in your prayers, or even thoughts, i have struggled with mental health for the longest and im tired of doing it on my own for most of it, i have let God handle some but never all, so im trying to be strong enough to let go and let God take control, so thats what im asking for in prayers or even in thoughts.
its gonna be a journey but im willing to take the road more, so i can be even closer to God and feel His presence more.

Very anointed song, God is a God of love, no matter how big our problem or need, don't run from God run to him. I had a severe problem fear, it made me ill, but then in the time of trouble call out to God, God never leaves, but as this anointed Song says, Be still my Soul, I did this, my mind and body were tormented, but in the stillness of his Presence reminded me, I feel I should share this because someone will be going through the same, In one moment God brings healing and restoration, Consider the Prodigal Son, when he determined to return to his Father, his Father greeted him with open arms, sometimes fear can be so intense, that we turn from God rather than to him. When I returned to My Heavenly Father, he gently said to me, "My child this fear did not come from me, for I did not give you a spirit of fear, but love, power and a sound mind", he again reminded me that fear was a spirit, that with it comes torment. We need to constantly recognize that, that our inheritance is a sound mind, Do not let your heart be troubled, because God loves you as well. +amy pine Thank you Amy, I was a man of God, experienced so many miracles, first miracle the joy of receiving Jesus as my Saviour in 1983, went to the meeting complete atheist, but was friendly with a man of God,, but Jesus totally changed me, it was his manifested presence, felt such love, them knew that God was real, that he died on a cross for my Sins and arose from death, he is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, I experienced God, served him many years, seeing many signs and wonders, but in 1996 my marriage to another Christian ended, through painful circumstances. I never turned completely away from God, but was back slidden in my heart, the love of money took over, then doubt about Gods love, then let fear in, but like the Prodigal Son I returned to my Father who ran to meet me,he restored me, with the robe of righteousness and a ring of authority, nothing in this world can compare with God's love and his mercy, he is truly the God of restoration, anybody who thinks there is no way to return back to God, should remember that very powerful story of the prodigal Son, he has no favourites, but each of us are created differently, unique, each believer his special child, I believe God is saying to his children who have turned away, through emotional pain or discouragement, "Return to your Father, he forgives and restores".
As I was thinking when I see the horrible things that are happening, and feeling sad this song came to my mind. Its as though God is speaking to me.

my soul is not at rest, i am so depressed and i have been for years. I used to be a Muslim and i have been baptized for a year now, i have given my life to Christ, my christian walk has been hard, I have faced so much difficulties and continue to face them. It is hard because i am questioning what plan GOD has for me, why all this pain? why do i suffer so much? i feel like there are days i don't want to live, I don't even feel like going to church this week, i just keep crying and asking GOD to talk to me, but he never speaks. I just need GOD to give me the strength and faith to continue...I cant do this alone anymore

I think just pray is a good option.. He sees everything you are going trough or been through. He is with you all the time! I got a bibleverse for you in my heart it is in romans 5:8 it says: you are loved more than you ever will know! And I know someday everything is going to be alright you are important not only for your friends and family but also for me you are my sister in God and we love you! Now my mom died 5 months ago. My husband is not repented, he blames me for cheating on me and wants to destroy me. I DID NOTHING TO DESERVE THIS!!! WHY AM I HAVERSTING ALL THIS??? I CAN’T BEAR WITH THIS PAIN. THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS ME ALICE ARE MY 3 precious children. But I’m so heartbroken that I can barely mother them.
