Although this does warm my heart, you have to remember that this girl just changed almost everything about this man’s life. He barely resembles his past self. I would not want to experience this.

Having children made the number of my problems grow, but lessened the weight of each problem. I may have more to deal with, but the soft smile of affirmation from my children is all I need to push forth and do the impossible.
Will admit, the more I get into this story, the more I dislike the "mother" of the girl. Calls her a brat, refuses to help her, etc. Then I remember a few key facts. Chaerin was the one who wanted to see her dad. *As implied by her mother* The mother didn't want ANYTHING to do with the MC. Said mother told guy "Show her how scary the world can be" Mother being controlling, telling the father to do anything Chaerin says. *Make him irritated with Chaerin, a major backfire there xD* Refusing to reunite with the father of her child, until a certain time, etc. *She doesn't SEEM busy or anything* Refuses to talk over the phone, but through texts.... AFTER he accused her of not caring about Chaerin.. Seems SUS tbh, like she was all "Oh no he could tell from my voice, texts will be better to LIE through." My theory.. She DISLIKES the human world, and wants her daughter to be scared so much she will NEVER want to go back. Wants Chaerin to desire to return to her "fantasy" world. With the certain time she mentioned to the guy being... When she comes to collect Chaerin forever. But I can already see how this will backfire, already see the signs. For one thing... Chaerin is starting to resent her mother, and grow to love her father all the more. So wouldn't surprise me if either something SERIOUS happens to the MC and Chaerin can't help and asks her mother and she is all "No.. He is a useless human, nothing but trash", causing her daughter to refuse to leave his side and be all "If he dies, I will DEFINITELY stay here to honor his memory. I am NOT going back with you." Or Chaerin gets scared to death and her mother catches wind, shows up to collect her... Only for Chaerin to be all "I may be scared, but If I can't be with Dad too.. I'd rather stay here." Or "You can never truly be scared if you are with the person you love." Since I doubt that the MC would be able to go to live with the mother of his child. I would rather have the MC end up with that girl from siberia, cause this ex of his is just so toxic.
I don't think that Chaerin's mother didn't want anything to do with jihoon or dislikes the human world because it never said that anywhere. Based on the title of the manga(My Daughter is a dragon) & the magic, Chaerin could be a "half dragon" if her mom is a dragon and jihoon is a human. It was also shown that Chaerin was told by Yena the consequences of using the magic too much, but she still kept on using it, leading to the hurricane/tornado. Besides, if her mom didn't wnat anything to do with jihoon & disliked the human world, wouldn't she not have told her about him, badmouthed him, or not let her go to him? My theory is that Yena's family, clan, or species maybe doesn't like humans or being with and having a kid with one. Or there could be a problem where they were living, possibly in another dimension, world, or secluded place, not letting Yena to go to him. And, wouldn't dragons give birth to eggs, leading to her leaving to not let him find out possibly for his safety when she found out she got pregnant?
The mother did take care of the child before she got to the MC, also if father is human the mother is also a dragon... that causes its own problems and technically the mother gave the child to the father who never knew he had one so the mother isn't the worst because the mother took care of her well until then.
I think it's the opposite as the mother likely send her to her father for her safety from either her family or a rival family that hates humans and she have to stay behind to keep them at bay until it's over.
I feel Jihoon about Chaerin going to school and making friends , the fear that your children would change overtime like their friends , Even if i'm still a teen (don't look it in the wrong way ) i still fear that would happen to me.

Babies and toddlers are usually obsessed with a certain parent who meet their needs consistently around 5-7 the brain loses this obsession as they can meet most of if not all of their basic needs now (along with developing speech) Children will still like certain parents but not to the toddler/baby amount which is needed for survival.
That attachment is ok for now, they'll usually grow out of it before puberty. However if it doesn't by then there might be problems. She also isn't a normal child and hasn't even gone to school apparently. Pretty sure at 7 she should have even in Korea, especially since the wife's side of the family is ultra rich.
