- The kids wanted to write special notes for Amanda to celebrate her for Mother's Day and it was more than a little emotional. Seriously so grateful for her and how she loves our family so well. We are celebrating on the beach in Florida because Stephen comes down here for work about once a month and it was the perfect opportunity to bring the whole family. Such a sweet few days to relax and pamper mom and just enjoy each other's company. ❤️

I was just appreciating an awesome woman on a special day. Im a clinical doctor and me and my family are running a school for underprivileged and physically challenged kids for free, free books free food, free everything back home in my country. It gets extremely challenging at times. Each child is a different story, and filing them up with love so they somehow feel worthy is a tall order. We never wanted anything for it. We take it out of our own pockets, our own strength. We cant be weak bec we have taken a big responsibility. But it feels awesome when people appreciate us, makes what we do worthwhile. So I was just appreciating this family for the same thats all.

Your whole comment is based on the presumption that adopted children are less worthy of love than biological children. Luckily Amanda and Steve seem to be pretty evolved people, so I don't think they work on this premise, but particularly among some religious people who adopt, it is a very self-serving way to anoint themselves the 'savior.'

The comment is about commending an awesome woman or people like us who go the extra mile for others. Of course adopted children deserve exact same love, we all do, everyone of us. Otherwise why would me and my family set up a school for underprivilged and physically challenged children. We have over 150 children and counting in our Foundation. We fight for these kids everyday, bec their biological parents couldnt or have died. We adopted as much as we can from our community too. The community that Iam from is an ethnic minority geoup from southern Philippines. Last 2017, we were bombed by the Isis, displacing hundreds of families and especially children. My son is adopted too. I adopted him bec his biological mom is too poor and too young to care for him. Yes you are right, luckily there are people like the Miller Family and me and others like us who make a difference in the lives of others. Everyone deserves love or be loved in exact same way, biological or not, tell me about it...

Here in Ireland a lot of us eat “egg in a cup” or some call it “Googie Egg”. Boil 2 eggs, put them hot in a cup with a spoon of butter (preferably Kerrygold) and a pinch of salt and mash it to bits Amanda. It’s comfort food and won’t hurt your gums.
