- Nothing could have prepared us for Keira's reaction to getting her birthday presents this year! Sincerely the sweetest, most grateful little lady on the planet. After getting to celebrate together as a family over dinner and cheesecake (her favorite), Amanda took the girls for a special "Ladies Night Out" at a local hotel. It was truly such an incredible way to get to bring in Keira's 15th birthday! Be prepared, you're gonna need some tissues for this one!

Okay, I am amazed by the way you raise your children. The way Keira says "but I was going to buy it" and crying about her presents shows how thoughtful and not spoiled she is! And also the fact that she is working and gradually try to pay her own extra wishes. My mom raised me similarly. If I wanted something, some extra thing, I had to work for it and later on she put the rest to it as a gift, or just because she could do that. Probably, this is why I became relatively independent and strong so early on. At least compared to my friends. And I want to raise my children similarly, but I don't exactly know the how to part. (By the way, I would be so glad, if you would make a video about what are the main principles you follow as parents.) So, thanks for strenghtening this idea, because it is so important. When they get into college, they will have less issues with organising their lives.
