- This is the end credit sequence for the Canadian dub of Dragon Ball GT, which was recorded in Calgary at Blue Water Studios. It's therefore often referred to as the Blue Water dub of the series since there's also an American english dub of the same series that was done by FUNImation studios. This version was originally broadcast in the UK on CNX and is still being broadcast in Canada on YTV as of this writing. It's currently on late Friday nights (or more accurately, early Saturday) at 3:30 AM.

Its 2022. I'm now 30. I come back here often to relive my teeny bop years. This absolutely floods me with nostalgia. Watching this at midnight was always such a treat and hearing this is so nice. :)

I will say the Blue Water dub isn't particularly great but keeping the Japanese Soundtrack is something I've always appreciated

Even though I never really watched this (partially because I fell asleep half way through from getting up early for school), it does bring back big memories of YTV, high school and the early 00's in general. Good times.
I dont know why, ive just always found this song to be an upbeat/peaceful kind of song, something you can just relax to.

I watched the Blue Water dub last year. It felt like peeking into somebody else's childhood (I'm American) and was so fun to experience. Dragon Ball GT is a 6/10 anime, the dub has its faults, but I enjoyed myself (and I'd watch this dub over Funimation's).

Well yes but no as in they kept it changed the opening lyrics so they don't fit the original instrumental and left the end credits as an instrumental at least when funimation did the remastered dvds they dubbed all the Japanese openings and endings for GT

@ShimiMamuzari The one good thing about your Funimation dub was the fact that it was exactly the same as Dragonball Z. So you didn't find yourself having to get used to the characters all over again, and you would've felt more like you were watching a continuation of the Z series and not as though you've actually gone back through time.
This one (blue water dub) was the one shown on Cartoon Network (toonami) in the uk.
Someone probably already answered that question for you but i thought id let u know just incase they hadnt =)

I remember watching the shows and it was a beautiful starry night outside on fridays. It was very emotional for me.
@ShimiMamuzari It was actually quite sweet. A little jarring at first, since we went from the hardcore, it's time to man Z series we'd all come accustomed to, to the all sing nursery rhyme that was essentially GT's USP until "further notice". I will tell you though - them deciding to keep the original Japanese soundtrack was an excellent move on their part. The show got really creepy and disturbing because of it.

Ending like this is the reason I love Dragonball GT. So beautifully composed and actually tells a story unlike Dragonball Super where there is no taste.
What story? Making a nice ending and making a good story are two different concepts.
Without mentioning that Super still has much better arcs than GT and it’s not even a close comparison,GT just sucks.
@@Cr102y I use to be the biggest GT hater back in 2003 but now realised even though its nowhere near Z or thr first one, its still a beautiful anime.
Super dont get me wrong, the animation is nice and we are getting the chance to see more characters but unlike GT it lacks serious-ness and suspense.
For me its too cartoonish and I just cant relax and be taken into another world the same away GT took me

I agree with you on that one the blue water intro/outro are the best. Although Funimation messed up with the intro/outro to gt i think most of the dialoge and voices are better then blue water (appart from Pan, Cell, Hercule and gill who was stupidly renamed giru in funimation)

They used to show this dub on the UK Toonami. I really liked it, but Vegeta sounded a bit crap though.

The Blue Water Dub was a alternate dub of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT made by the owners of the Dragon Ball series in Europe/Canada.
The name refers to the company that AB Groupe (The owners of DB in Europe and Canada) hired to produce the dub, Blue Water Studios, located in Calgary, Canada.
the voices are the same as funimation but the theme song and ending is deferent
so this is the dub they showed in england how crap :( no wonder the voices i heard in the dub are different than the tenkaichi series
