- This is the end credit sequence for the Canadian dub of Dragon Ball, which was recorded in Calgary at Blue Water Studios. It's therefore often referred to as the Blue Water dub of the series (since there's also an American english dub of the same series that was done by FUNImation studios). This version was originally broadcast in the UK on CNX and in Canada on YTV.

I used to watch Dragonball on Toonami here in the UK, and this was the music they used for the credit sequence. But I've never been able to find it until now.

the voice actors wern't really that bad (Well I'm just used to ocean dub not funi' s im just being nice). America usually edits anime though which is pretty sad in the ocean dub I was like only 7 and I saw guns, blood, and pervertness so the ocean dub is more just uncensored. I mean what Canada considers for every age is like PG 13 or Y7 in America

I really don't understand why they would use the French theme song for the Canadian version. I don't know if they used to show the original French dub from the 80s in Quebec, but most anglophone Canadians aren't going to feel any nostalgia from this and will just think it sounds childish.
Your comment is 15 years old, I think it was in 2009. The dubbing appeared in 2003, so your comment was not far from the dubbing.
I believed it had something to do with Blue Water Studios' relationship when it comes to them, dubbing France content. AB Groupe commissioned a dub of this series for broadcast in Canada, the UK and the Netherlands, since they're the license holder for the series at the time. Using the French opening as the intro and outro theme might be a cost-cutting tactic, since they couldn't afford to use the Japanese opening and ending themes for their dub.
In Quebec, they aired this dub, but with French subtitles (similar to the Netherlands' broadcast of this dub, GT and the Westwood dub of Z), but home releases exists, since they had the exact video and audio tapes the Blue Water dub use.
In the movies they did. But not in TV show.
