I have always preferred the commando version of Snake Eyes to the ninja version. I have stayed away from the Mezco line because of the price but if I was to get one this is the one.
Great review. I passed on him (couldn’t justify the price when I already got the v2 earlier this year). I wish Mezco released this version first. He looks great.
I didn't like this guy at first. But after closer examination, I'd like to have him at a discount. I guess it's my SE V2 bias, but, I do like this look now. I'd rather have him as the retro classified than this however. I like the Mezzco figs, as I have Destro and Firefly, but after those two, I'm not so sure I need another Mezzco figure. Until I get one that I REALLY want!
@@judesheckelberg5135 Very true, though @popblender might have a shot if someone is hard up for cash and needs to liquidate quickly. Otherwise, this is a Mezco figure that will be tough to get a hold of even after the initial surge of excitement.
I hope super7 gives us some cool army builder packs with that cool box art on the back cause we want window packing. I bet you didn’t notice it was windowless cause the art was so nice. lol 😂 great vid put 3 3/4 scale for me only glad you enjoy collecting everything that makes you happy. 😃
Until today, personally no Mezco Joe release has screamed buy me. This one however looks dynamite. They nailed that sweater and the fluid movement of the limbs and ab crunch make Classifieds look clunky as hell. Unfortunately the exchange rate and freight would kick me in the ass, so I shall live vicariously through you owning it lol
I agree, this version looks a lot better than the V2 style Snake Eyes, but the cloth goods still don't do it for me. One thing that they did right with this figure, is they dialed back the use of elastic and nylon straps. Neither of those ever scale well with 1:12 figures. I think this figure and Destro are the best looking of the Mezco GI Joe figures. Firefly had a lot of potential, but they went way overboard with the straps, and like I said, I don't believe those ever scale right. One thing's for sure, Mezco nails the presentation and the accessories, and they are quality figures. That AR looks great. It's actually identical to my oldest son's AR rifle. I also like the handgun without the weapon light. It's based on the FN FNX series of pistols, which are some of my favorite handguns (although the frame/grip has been changed up). Man, that Classified Series Alpha Commando Snake Eyes is still my definitive modern Snake Eyes figure. I know it's an older figure, but I still absolutely love it. I like the Retro one too, but not near as much. Thanks for sharing this figure with us, and taking the time to show it in detail!
Be sure to check out my review on Mezco’s Snake Eyes V2 with Timber

I had a Larami MAC-10 cap gun in perfect 1:1 scale and detail as a kid. It had a VERY large grip.
Mezco does such a great job!! I have the Batman from Batman vs Superman and it is very highly detailed with all sorts of weapons and hands, etc.
That’s a pretty sweet snake eyes! Definitely need to look into these
Mezco make amazing figures but you pay a premium price, but I do think they’re worth it.

Same bro. I prefer the suit and mask on this one
Thanks for the shout out! And yes those pockets drove me to insanity lol 😂😅😂😅
2:14 the Mezco exclusive sticker is more then likely because it was an Exclusive SDCC

Discount? Good luck.

That’s a super nice box.
I dig that version!
That Mac 10 with the larger grip is an older mold that came with OG punisher...which had a more open grip on the trigger hands.
An M4 would typically have a front site post. While all AR platforms start from the same place, this is probably closer to a URGI M4A1.
I looked up pics of an uzi online, and the real one has a larger grip also. Looks weird, but at least the toy is accurate.
All Mac 11 Mac 10 and uzi have large grips due to the square box magazine utilized and the fact that it’s inserted into the grip itself
Now this is what I was looking for, an explanation on why the grip is so thick. Thank you.
@@Apunkwithtoys you know I like my pewpews lol, and while gunsmithing I learned alot about the different designs and creators. And details

Roapig works pretty good on that death metal cycle, his legs have to stay straight though I think.

Makes me wish I never got the first one. I like this one much much better. ESP the head
Awesome figure, where can i buy one
Unfortunately this was a Mezco SDCC exclusive and it’s not available anywhere other than from a 3rd party or eBay.
@@Apunkwithtoys thank you buddy for replying
Nothing like paying a 100% markup because a company is too stubborn to make a highly desired figure in large quantities...
I hate exclusives.
do you know if it uses the same buck body as the punisher one?
Unfortunately I do not, wish I could be more helpful
@@Apunkwithtoys its all good! the review was awesome anyways! keep up the good work
Knuckle punch hand? If anything, palm strike hand. I'm not punching anyone with my finger joints...
Where’d you get the porta potty.
My buddy printed it for me.
Nice
🔥🔥🔥💯✌🏽
No Uzi is a huge L. They already had the mold for it...why not just include it with this figure as well? Ahh Mezco...
Because most people who want this one bought the previous version too, prolly.
