Im 35 so this was a bit before my time but I remember watching Dick Tracy as a kid and it really being my first introduction to the whole throwback noir genre of film. That yellow trenchcoat always stuck out to me.
Nice review pal. I like the figure, not my thing, but he looks great and the materials are nicely and carefully done 👍 If it's worth the price for you, it's all well. It's a different product from the Mondo GBs after all.

I’m not gonna point out the obvious and say another great review, instead I appreciate the memory you had when thinking about drawing the character. It’s those visceral associations that make collecting so special.
Dude the difference is night and day, you get two highly detailed figures with soft goods and copious amounts of accessories relevant to the character, compared to, from what I gather with the Mondo Ghostbusters, the character that's animation accurate, limited articulation from what I see, accessories for the Ghostbusters and nothing for the big ghosts? They look like Neca figures and that's a disservice to Neca cuz they could do a way better job than Mondo, the proce would automatically be better, 30 maybe 40 per Ghostbuster would have been the perfect price. 100 bucks for figures with less than 20 points of articulation is ridiculous.
he's head looks a bit too big other than that, it looks awesome mezco should do more of these classics. i pre-ordered popeye if they have a solo version of this I'd grab it don't care for the bad guy
Think this is a incredible achievement by mezco. Nealy a 100 year old character, that inspired the creator of batman, to sell any of these. Need the garbage can air speeder.🎉😂

@@justice2383 thanks. It was a rain coat I found on clearance in the doll section at target. Really makes that old toy pop. Also I won over 1000 figures. This mezco is easily in my top 5.
how was the two pack a bummer, when you get the the most notable bad guy as the other fig? priced out it was as much as buying two figures would be, and youd be a fool not to get the single release FT.

this is going on the shelf with The Shadow and Batman. they gotta do Flash Gordon, Doc Savage and The Phantom to round out the 1930s pulp heroes. did you get the GBJR/Shocker Toys Dick?
Cool Figure, love those colors and details. By the way that's a tommy gun with a long clip instead of the drum. Original Gangster DICK all the way. I never really understood the cartoon ERA, since they had cool watches and flying buckets but yet really shitty guns, who knows....

It looks amazing but I’m out at $200. $70 for Tracy, I’d be in all day. I’ll probably just get Dick by himself on the aftermarket.
