Knopfler’s music has been the soundtrack of my life. My 3 month old granddaughter and I listened to several of his songs the other night. She was transfixed.
As I age, I need your music. I realize we are all refining our reasons to be here. I don’t intend to “age out”. I don’t think you will either. Please don’t! Thanks for your authenticity.
I love these Mark...wish you could do more of them...kinda gives the rest of us a glimpse into your life...those of us out here that love you...we like being able to connect with you even on such a small scale...maybe that's strange but I enjoy these as much as I enjoy hearing your songs... You have one hell of a talent...and you look like you enjoy every minute of it...that's what makes you so great... Please don't stop doing these...I have love you and your music for 38 years...I only like others but I love you...no one else could write and sing your song quite like you do...

First song I heard from Mark was “Tunnel of Love” from Alchemy… I was 12 years old, since then I have followed him not only buying his records but travelling to different countries to see him live. I think he’s just a different musician, his picking style, his voice, his lyrics… he’s unique. Thanks Mark for so many hours listening to your music that makes me feel so good.

The old footage over ‘Piper To The End’ made me a little emotional when I first watched this on TV - Knopfler and the music have been a massive part of my life and the older I get the even more I grow to appreciate it.
I love it that he went back and traced his work from the beginning.

SAW HIM twice with Dire Straits and once with Eric Clapton , the performance ,songs , musicians where brilliant on each occasion, I got all the early stuff and soundtracks from LOCAL HERO and CAL , a genuine unique talent.

This is a good rock-doc, but it left out --- the Love Over Gold album, Mark's movie soundtracks, and his work with Eric Clapton.

I will never forgive my self for not going to live concert when Mark was in Zagreb!! Sultans of Swing,Brothers in Arms,Lady Writer.....i think i fell a sleep in my bed by these song at least 500 times...Dire Straits playlist,headset and flying around on a wings of his sounds until i fall a sleep. Thank you Mark!!!
