True. And honestly all of this rise in Islamophobia is due to the goverment. Cause if they did limit legal migration and ban ILLEGAL migration then less people would be pissed off and turn radical. Obviously i dont support islamaphobic rhetoric but as someone who lives in an area with alot of Pakistani gangs that get away with everything i do see why people are turned radical and its sad

But it wont stop. Just like USA refugees from corrupt poor impoverished nations, and nations in conflit will only grow. Our population has grown over double since 1993. From 3-4billion to 9-10billion. Ppl may say we are not overpopulated by metric, but by our ability to help our species progress we are failures. We obviously cannot handle this many humans, but want more because they grow economies amd profits period. Instead of our species focused on making every human life better we focus on greed and self gain. We ignore this, let every govt system become a corrupt oligarchy, while workers pay all the taxes for wars (ever war on drugs ala mexico) making more refugees and the cycle continues

I'm an immigrant to the UK. I had to pay a bunch of money, pass a bunch of tests, prove I had qualifications to qualify as a skilled worker, go through a ton of admin, need an employer to sponsor my visa, and after all that that it put me on a 5 year probation period visa that they could take away from me anytime they want.
While these immigrants not only come over for free, they get given free accommodation and welfare, and the police are also too afraid to punish the ones that break the law because they don't want to seem racist? Seems a little bit unfair.

The illegal immigrants toss their IDs away before they boat over from France. Since it's against international law to make someone "stateless" ie throw them out without knowing where they originated, they get free asylum. Supposedly the police can take their fingerprints and then pay France to take them back and not let them in again, but that is costly, time consuming, and likely unpopular for the current political climate.

Over 90% of them said they wouldn't have fought, or would have even fought for the other side, if they had known what was going to happen to their country in the decades after the war. Not only that, the current government is the least representative in the history of UK democracy, just over 20% of the electorate voted for the Labour party, and yet it holds over 60% of the seats in Parliament, which in reality equates to 100% of the control. Meanwhile, the third largest party by vote share, Reform UK, the *only* party with an overtly anti-immigration stance, has just 5 seats. When government does not reflect the will of the people, when people do not believe their concerns are being addressed and their needs being met by the people they pay to represent them, *this* is what happens.

And they will be impacted by it. Example: in covid, i couldn't impact politicians, so only way i saw was impacting people that carry out restrictions. When i was going shopping there was new police patrolling in shop to tell people to use masks, so every time i walked past him i looked away of him and he get annoyed, because i don't respect him as human. That happened 10-20 times over couple weeks, and he left that job, i assume because he couldn't handle rejection. Then new police started to work, i treated him same way, he also left. Then government put police on entrance of shop, and didn't let anyone in who has not vaccine, so i stopped to go to that shop. Weak people will sell their morals for money, only way to stop them is to ignore them as humans, because they don't act better than animals.

Sorry Asmon, but this is a mega L take. This isn't about race. The Britts didn't vote for this, and never have. they have consistently voted to reduce immigration for over 15 years, but the government never does what it said it would do. Instead, opting to increase immigration, regardless of what the people who voted for them think or want...
Seriously, this is bigger than "they just racist." A massive issue is the two tier policing. Young girls were kidnapped and groomed by immigrants. The police had evidence of it for years and done sweet f all about it. Because the people doing it weren't British. They didn't want to have the hate mob at the police station doors for being "Islamaphobic" by arresting them. It took journalists risking their lives investigating it for them to do literally anything about it...
This runs so much deeper than something as simple as race, culture or religion...

Complaining about countries like England or the US being racist is the absolute smoothest brain take conceiveable. Take any country that's not predominately white, there's very little immigration, there's very little accepted variety in culture, when this isn't true there's massive problems with violence and unrest. But in Western countries, for the most part, people manage to get along, and even though there certainly are people that are intolerant they are the minority and they usually get dragged when they voice those opinions. It's not weird that English people are upset that members of a minority group are committing more crimes than anyone else on average and are under policed in spite of this, it's weird that they didn't get upset earlier. Imagine this was DRC and the situation was similar. Imagine it's Japan. Imagine it's Cuba. People would have taken to the streets long ago, or just started lynching everyone they don't like. The amount of political turmoil and violence in Western countries only feels high now because of how relatively low its been for the last few decades, but historically, unrest was the rule, not the exception.

Where do the English go when our home is gone? The Irish... Scottish... Welsh? Our opinions don't matter because we are the wrong colour and religious alignment. Also Asmon, I doubt you'll read this, but at its core this isn't about racism. It's about a war on our culture and way of life. No UK political party even bothers to challenge the rhetoric that houses are commodities and not necessary for people to live in. Quite the shift from previous decades when all parties would at least pay lip service to it.
Of course there's always a minority of those who are filled with hate, but they don't usually get anywhere, until economic hardship hits, and governments fail to deal with it. Desperate people turn to comforting things. You're special, your problems are down to those folk over there.

Similarly to say Detroit in the US for a US reference these places were completely gutted of their trade/industry, and nothing was done to actually help the people in the area. In fact all they did (they being the Left/Middle Class+ and state media) is treat them like zoo animals and poverty porn for years.
Then on top of that people in these places see the Government treating new arrivals (even if it's "just" optics) better than the citizens they neglected this whole time, and these people are told to just ''be accepting". Then add a few scandals like 20 THOUSAND children being raped and groomed by a certain demographic, with both the media and police knowing about it but having no great gusto in actually exposing it (due to fears of well, this happening), and sprinkle in a few innocent people being murdered by asylum seekers/immigrants, and well...

I live in the uk, every main candidate for parliament uses lowering migration as an easy winning point for their campaign as it’s a known and massive issue and then have ignored the issue or made brief glances at it for the entirety of their 5 year term, to give you scale, Alaska, Texas, California, Montana, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Oregon and Wyoming are all larger individually than the entirety of the uk (England, Scotland, wales and Northern Ireland) and for the last 15 years we have been accepting roughly 100-360 people a day that have all been taken in and looked after from taxpayers money whilst we put up with things like our elderly have their heating benefits cut just before winter to compensate for the costs, Both our housing and job market have been quickly declining in stability and availability ever since I’ve had the sentience to understand the two and recently that’s exploded. I never wanted children growing up, but now that’s starting to change and I’m coming to the sad realisation I will have to move country, I don’t want my children being terrified to walk to streets and even more scared of the police arresting them for social media posts, it’s not a question of Islam or racism or hate, it’s just a question of asking how this will be sustained as we the people have had more and more taken so that more and more can be given, to anyone living in the uk, leave and never look back, this place is the start of something completely new

It's something which has been building up for about 15 years to be honest, and much of it is down to politicians who instruct the police not to pursue offences committed by those from minority backgrounds for fear of the government being labelled racist.
So that carved out an environment where a lot of serious crimes were taking place, and everybody knew about it, but nobody in police or politics would stop it. There are people who've been able to walk out of court without any punishment after claiming they "don't speak English". There's people who are committing sexual offences who aren't being punished in court after claiming they "didn't know r*pe was illegal because Islam doesn't teach them it is".
If anyone ever tries to have a discussion around anything at all to do with migration (illegal or legal) then they're branded every type of ism and ist under the sun. Then mainstream media (which is basically government controlled) is used as a PR propaganda machine for whatever the government wants to do, which annoys people even further.
Then on top of all that, there's this thing called "positive discrimination", which means that if you're looking for a doctor, dentist, job, university placement, etc., all is well unless you are white then you need to go to the back of the queue and let everyone else go in front of you - all policies introduced by politicians.
And yes, there's 100% tension between those in the country who are muslims and those who are not. People generally do not take kindly to having politics or religion forced down their throats in the UK, so when you get a bunch of people shouting allahu akbar in politics, in the street, at restaurants, etc., instead of keeping it inside their building of worship, it starts to irritate people.

all im going to say is Luton, Rotherham, Rochdale, Leicester, Birmingham, slough, telford, Bradford. all these local councils and police knew about the Pakistani/Bengali grooming gangs but refused to do anything due to "fears of being perceived as racist" this is a plain and simple fact. one father who went to rescue his daughter from a grooming house was arrested by police for breaking into the grooming house. when the police arrested a Pakistani Muslim on grooming charges the local Muslims went to the police station and rioted until he was released. the EDL came about because of a group called "the united peoples of Luton" started by tommy Robinson and a a few others of different races, after his cousin was raped by a grooming gang. once more towns came out about grooming gangs and the lack of response from police, the united peoples of Luton became the English defence league.
the whole reason tommy Robinson is hated by the government is because he exposed their 2 tier systems and lack of care for native white brits.
local councils and police hid the grooming gangs for years until tommy Robinson shed light on it.

Here in norway, immigrants get a tesla starter pack. And if they're lucky, they get a whole newbuilt 2-story house made in "modern norwegian" style. Sucks to live in norway if you aren't mentally disabled, a foreigner or handicapped. Weakness is being rewarded, and strength is being punished.

@@billabomify Don't fall for the troll... I don't know if you've noticed but Asmons comment sections on youtube when ever there is a political video about some right wing topic is always stock full with people posting some right wing opinions and I wouldn't be surprised if a huge chunk of them were bots to spread misinformation. Take your time to fact check. There are 0 articals about immigrants getting a Tesla for free in Norway. Also people are mixing up immigrants and refugees. Refugees usually get a place to live and social welfare yes, that's more or less the norm in all of europe. But the place to live is usually either social housing (so it's meant for the poorest in the country) or it's a refugee accommodation where they share a room with 3 others, have a shared kitchen, a shared bathroom etc. Legal immigrants usually have to get a Visa which is only granted if they get a job first and the Visa might be rewoked if they loose the job for whatever reason. They might also get some benefits like tax benefits if they migrate into the country but that's because most countries actually NEED immigration because they are lacking certain types of skilled workers. And then lastly there is illegal immigration where people are probably treated like refugees and in some countries might be thrown out at some point and been brought back into their origin country.
The problem is: in these debates, people are always mixing up: legal immigrants, illegal immigrants and refugees and label them all as "immigrants" which is stupid AF because they are not the same and are usually treated differently.

The problem comes when people attribute crime to immigration. Immigration has no significant correlation with crime statistics in the UK. I'm using statistics from the Home office, so if you don't accept that fact, you're just intellectually disingenuous. People commit crime equally regardless of race - let's not have biases and prejudice, now. The protests took place outside mosques and the fixation of the protests was mainly anti-immigration focused. We've already established that blaming immigration for the country's economic difficulties is absurd, we've established that blaming immigration for higher crime rates is absurd and an inherently prejudice worldview. So that begs the question, why on earth would these people go out to protest anti-immigration propaganda? There's no basis within any form of logic - dislike or discrimination against a particular race and ethnic group is known as racism. So no, it isn't a bad take, mate. I hope you are able to relinquish your implicit biases toward people from different parts of the world who are no different from you and I.

If he wants to look at history with religion he should look at history with immigration. The Roman Empire how letting the Germans inside their border before it collapsed or really just pick a nation there is going to be a good example of dire consequences of unchecked movement of peoples.

Asmon obviously doesn't know european history at all. The crusades was a response to 7-800 years of muslim aggression. People critizise christian europa for the crusades without actually knowing history. People seem to think the response of christian europa with the crusades was somehow wrong, but forget to remember the reason why the crusades was necessary and rightful. They also forget the millions of europeans who was enslaved and/or killed under the islamic aggression.
Before the very first crusade was launched in 1095, Muslims had invaded the following Christian lands. They had invaded, Christian Syria, Christian Jordan, Christian Palestine, Christian Egypt, Christian Algeria, Christian Libya, Christian Morocco, Christian Portugal, Christian Spain, Christian France, Christian Sicily, Christian Turkey, Christian Armenia, Christian Italy. All before the first crusade. The crusades are a legitimate response to Islamic aggression, and Islamic violence. To this day, christians are still persecuted in muslim lands, coptic christians in egypt for example.
Asmons take is a very typical bad one from an uninformed american who doesn't know anything about the history of the world. Almost all American continent, Philipines in South Asia, Ecuatorial Guinea in Africa and Spain itself, in Europe. "The empire where sun never sets"
So muslims here did not do a good thing to us. After theyr invasion, killing the then ruling Visigods, the Germanic people that got to Spain after the Roman Empire collapse.. The Muslims stayed here for 8 centuries.. And, like nowadays, there was often conflicts among the people of the diferent religions. And so Christians got tires and took Spain and Portugal back. And the same for Europe. We got that back.. North Africa was Christian. Only Arabia was muslim.. Every other country now muslim was conquered and never reconquered.

I'm not from the UK, but I'm European and we are all facing similar problems. We are at large not against immigration, we are against uncontrolled, unrestricted mass illegal immigration which has changed the demographic dramatically. You can ask any European, from wherever, and they will all tell you the same thing: the steets are now a lot more dangerous since we began accepting all sort of Muslims and African people. This belief is too widespread, between all EU countries, to not be true. I have personally known and worked with several Muslims who work their asses off and that are very skilled and valuable members of my city. However, sadly, even in my city this is not the norm, and it's obvious for everyone. This happens also because a lot of immigrants form like a "State within the State" and basically just hang out in their own community and never even learn the language. I do not think immigrants are my country greatest problem, nor do I think they are the only ones cousing trouble, far from it. But, this unrestricted illegal immigration is a big problem nonetheless, which is added on top of a series of problems that we have. I think that protests turn out this violent when people are exhausted and very angry, because the government is never listening.

Moreover, there are plenty of migrants which technically are legal but never get registered and/or monitored either because of poor government organization or due to the sheer number of people entering. I want to add that even when they get actually registered and put into structures, showing up in your boat on the beach is hardly a formal request, is it?
I think the numbers are sketchy because of these reasons and because a lot of legal immigrants are considered technically legal just because once they enter the gov doesn't know what to do with them, so they just make them "legal", idk if that makes sense the way I explained it.
