Cotopaxi Chasqui Review (13L Sling) - One Year of Use

It’s been a year since my wife gifted me this bag. It’s travelled hundreds of miles and been on tons of outings with my family. After a year, here is my review.
TLDR: For the price, the Chasqui is an excellent choice. The designers threw every idea they had at this thing. Some stuff works and some stuff just fades into the background. Still, this sling is a delight to use.

Cotopaxi, unfortunately doesn't do a great job of showcasing their stuff on their site. In fact, I've noticed so many bag makers who don't do a good job with this, even some of my favorites. I guess it gives enthusiast like me some space to show them off :)

Hey, I am trying to see if I could fit my 15" laptop in there, the laptop pocket is probably too small but thinking it could maybe fit in the main shell space. Would you be able to give me the inside measurement, please?
My laptop size => W: 359.1 mm (14.14 in.) , depth: 236.25 mm (9.30 in.) height: 14.99 mm (0.59 in.) . thanks

What about Water bottle pocket ?

Unfortunately no, no dedicated bottle pocket. I wish there was, though. Lately, with the way I use it, I put my kid’s lunch box to one side and her water bottle nestled up against it. No issues so far.

How’s the comfort of the sling while wearing it in front?

Hey! It’s okay in short stints, I feel like although comfortable, it looks a bit too big for front carry. To me, it felt weird wearing that way - I only did when I was in a crowded place, or on a ride at Disney.

It can, depending on what’s at the bottom of the bag. When I put my kid’s little lunchbox in there, it stands on its own.
