Oh Richard, you’re always good. I agree with you Max is truly a genius and his vision is insane around this. Fun fact he’s sent some bumpers to Colorado recovery group and interestingly enough this week they got an emergency call and the bumper performed well and of course they want some more. So it was nice to see that out in the field in a real life scenario with a real recovery company that rescues vehicles and people out of That bumper was built for performed.
Yes, you did, let me try and find the actual part number of a vehicle that it came off of. The installation is somewhat tricky, but it’s definitely something that can be done
@@douglashornell-scott5126 That's a great question, Doug! I’m glad you asked, and we really appreciate you taking the time to watch our video and pay attention to the details. To address your question the best I can: Max, over at CA Tuned Off-Road (the creator of these shackles), had them developed overseas. During the testing process, they had to meet a minimum strength requirement, much like other recovery gear. Interestingly, these shackles didn’t fail until they were tested at 34 tons. Max even has a video from the manufacturer showing the testing process. I might reach out to Max to see if I can share a clip of that testing or maybe create a TH-cam Shorts video about it. Just keep in mind, this isn’t my product, and I’m not certifying or verifying anything-I’m simply sharing what I’ve learned and what is shared with me through the distributor and manufacturer. Also, I’m not telling you that these are approved at 34 tons consistently just what has been tested. So please don’t let me confuse you or anyone with that information. I’m simply telling you what I know to be true again. The video highlights the shackles being put to the test and shows the exact point of failure. It’s pretty impressive.
34.36” possibly but who’s keeping track. I’ve found that several tire manufacturers provide measurements and claim sizes, but they are usually off just a hair.
Delta max 2 with the alternator charger is a game changer
Dear Santa…. I’ve sorta been good…
It truly is a beast of a vehicle. Even more so with the CATuned upgrades. Thanks for sharing.

You said the recovery shackles were tried and tested? By which approving authority? Is it independently tested and certified? Thanks

What is the extra weight with the entire assay. Pumper, winch
Approx 160lbs
Can you install the winch without changing the pumper?
Not to my knowledge.
Nothing says "I wanna be an overlander" more than Rotopaks and florescent maxtraks stuck to the side of your 4x4.
The tyres is 35 inch sir
