Exactly I think after today bamas the one to be beat and Texas knows that now. All those penalties and the late start getting the running game going can’t happen in the coming weeks. And the run defense and tackling was atrocious in this game , multiple times they had stops for a loss but straight just whiffed on tackles , a dialed in Texas team I don’t see anybody beating this season but they weren’t firing on all cylinders this game and still came out with a 1 sided victory.

From a Texas fans perspective the performance is a solid b minus as the defense really came up in the big moments even though they gave up way too many rushing yards and the offense produced pretty well minus a couple of head scratchers here and there. And of course two fumbles by Jaden blue which to blues credit. I understand they're very thin at running back but he has to learn to keep the ball high and tight. Overall, I think this is a good wake up call and entering the SEC as every given week you will be challenged and for Texas's sake this is probably the best thing happened to them. Entering a bye look over the mistakes. Get everyone healthy again and keep winning.

The best Manning highlight had to be that lob pass. It was perfect. I can think of multiple NFL QBs that would struggle with that pass. Most of them would overthrow their receiver.
