Progressive linkage working fine on my truck there’s literally a setting in the 3.5 inch display to turn it on or off, along with setting your tps percentage.
It is adjustable with laptop not sure handheld will do it. I think the choking at 5200 on dyno maybe more related to ignition or the fact that you aren't getting all 4 barrels open all the way. Definately check out holley sniper efi forum lots of info on there
@@markekberg8371 no clue man, tbh my sniper system has been garbage, between intermittent fuel pump signal issues and constant unplugging of injectors alone I wouldn’t recommend.
If u run sniper with filter regulator you only need one line it has return built in to filter. However a setup like that the fuel doesn't get the chance to cool while returning to the tank.
Ive been meaning to thank you _ I'm pimping you out and hope it helps you out by wearing your hat. I love it. It's my go to hat these days.(cap). Good luck, bro.
It is definitely is game changer after the tune. I'm getting ready to put mine back on the dyno. hopefully we break 300 hp. if you are in socal, check out @kpfabandtune
The progressive linkage will allow fuel to spray out of the rear injectors and pool on top of the rear throttle blades. Not good. Many years ago Howell EFI had a cam type fixture to attach the throttle cable to that was made oblong such that as the cable moved the throttle moved slowly and as it got wider it moved quicker. I can't find one online but you should be able to Google it and find a picture at least. they were attempting to get that 4barrel affect.
If you have nice easy pedal travel no need. If you have harsh tip in then this throttle level extension will allow smooth pedal feel from 0 to the floor.
Yea, they sell the extension, but for the price they should include one, or have the throttle linkage made to the unit. I have had the Sniper on my GTO for about 2 years now, I like it, but thinking about returning to my Quadrajet. The fuel pump for Sniper seems to have issues with failing, and I just don't trust it to go any further than 15-20 miles from home. I'm on my third fuel pump, 2 were rail mount, this last one is the drop in for the classic fuel tank. If this pump fails, I will return to the Quadrajet.
@@CAC-1111 Holley's in-tank pump has fixed my issues. It's been a couple of thousand miles or so with no problems. I think the original issue of the rail mounted pumps is they were too weak to supply 60 lbs of fuel pressure continuously without overheating.. I would like to see Holley make a Sniper style unit for Harley Davidson.
We have met the enemy and they is us...the other day I was fabricating a bracket and I welded one side on backwards...had to grind off all the welds and start over..
Anyone who doubts that the throttle lever is the correct fix for the sensitive throttle tip in is completely wrong. Do not put a progressive linkage. Think about it. Wouldn't the team of engineers at Holley that get paid to do this and have thousands of hours of trial and error know what they're talking about? Throttle lever extension is the correct fix. NOT progressive linkage.
Maybe if they didn't make the big ass throttle assembly stick out so far, then the extension lever would fit. I have to have the bracket there to hold the cable

really the tech support guy told me your couldn't do it on this unit

Have same issue and holley said they don't support the progressive anymore?

Did you have to lengthen the throttle cable to get it to reach the new location on the bracket?
Where is your return fuel hose to the gas tank I only see one line

thank you very much brother, we truly do appreciate it. I will be back soon with more consistent content.
I'm thinking about taking mine to a tuner. I have the sniper efi on my 396 and it just doesn't run super well.

Old car tip. Twist headlight switch and dome light turns on.
yeah mine is glitchy needs a new switch I think

I don’t have the bracket on my system, I don’t need it , right?

Just get a new tank with an intake pump

hahahah right!
What about the name RED SLED
thats cool, I like that.
Just don't use a drop base air cleaner.
Why not?

yes I learned the hard way

This guy took to long to explain 😂
