9:00 While I'm still more introverted than extroverted, I was **very** introverted at 18 and just a normal amount of introverted at 28. Those little personality tests you take demonstrated the change. I went from a super-heavy "IN" with a light TJ (INTJ) to an INFJ with the IN still stronger than the FJ but not by as crazy margins. And even though I'm not an artist I do share a characteristic with Max in that I did well in school and then went on to teach others. It's possible communicating ideas to others on a daily basis altered my style of speaking with others in general. I may have even changed more than Max, since I think I became more caring about others from 18 to 28 while Max has always been a caring person (something I admired about her character in LiS1 and I assume something that's still true in DE). So, I buy Max's change.
I'll also add I don't think they're presenting her as some intense extrovert. In the first gameplay reveal, there was a sarcastic joke about her being a "notorious party animal", thereby implying that she actually is still introverted - even if less than before.
I share the skepticism towards this game’s treatment of Max, but I think it’s more than fair to say that Max had her most formative experiences over the course of the first game and in its aftermath and that could plausibly inspire personality changes. Most people’s personality doesn’t significantly change at that age/after, sure, but most people don’t experience a series of major trauma bombs and discover superpowers at that age either 😅
39:20 I do understand what Adam is saying though. To some extent, the characters you write are going to represent you - your own personality, your own experience, and the impressions you got of other people (accurate or not). I'm not a very good writer, so it's probably more true for when I write things than for when a better writer does 😂 But of course characters I write in fanfics become more like me than they had been in reality. So, Deck Nine's writers will likely impart their own experience on Max, which will serve to make her at least a little different from how she'd be written by those at Don't Nod who previously wrote her.
I think Chloe will be in it due to how weird and cagey they’ve been about her, if she wasn’t they’d straight up just say no. They know that being indirect is going to get more people talking about her and they also know if nothing comes from it it’ll be nothing but negativity thrown their way. I don’t think she’ll play a huge part, but she will 100% be in it, to what capacity? Who knows. She is important though, they say this game is to do with max unpacking her traumas, Chloe plays a big role in that part of her life ,obviously, so honestly it’d make no sense for her not to be in it, regardless of the ending you chose. (Watch her not be in it 🤡)
All these recent interviews have basically been gunning down all the crazy theories that people has in regards to Chloe. Meanwhile I'm just sitting here with my popcorn in hand watching it all crumble and mouthing "I told you so" 😂 But for real tho, I just wish people would take a step back from those crazy theories and expectations and just enjoy the game for what it will be, regardless of Chloe or no Chloe. I find it very weird that people go to the lengths of saying "no Chloe no buy", it's very silly to me. On a different topic, Chloe's (Moriondo) track sounds reaaaaaally nice. Even if everything else in the game sucks, I'm sure the soundtrack will still be good, as usual. And one last thing, y'all are doing god's work on the socials. I'm not one to go after all the news that comes out, I tend to miss stuff like interviews with Devs, so your twitter feed has been very helpful to keep up with everything that I miss. So thanks a lot for that 🙌 P.s: I'm very excited for side B 🙏
Deck Nine have “Ryan Johnson’ed” Max and Life is Strange. Suspension of disbelief is gone. They’re taking too much away from the player’s investment and EU of the IP. Enjoyment seems limited to seeing how stinky this burning dumpster fire will actually turn out. It is what it is, and in a few months we can stop hearing and talking about it forever. 😢
@@Player1vsTheWorld that’s fair. I hope Deck Nine finds a way, soon, to do their own thing away from Square. They have pretty impressive production facilities and skills.

Wait, Spanish Sahara is in this game? That's weird, I've never heard it on any of my playthroughs 🤔
(RIP Pompidou)
It's in the 'sacrifice Chloe Price' ending in the first Life Is Strange!
RIP, Pompidou. RIP. 😔

Yeah, I think this sounds tonally right about the approach they’re taking. -Adnan
Adam with another banger game recommendation. Already put 200+ hours into Balatro. Ruined multiple assignments, would recommend.
Adam *ONLY* does banger recommendations. 😎🔥
I was introverted at that age, but there was always the part of me that wanted to "escape".
Ohhhh, that is interesting to hear. Thanks for sharing with us! 💜😇

They are all very fair points! 🤝
Thanks for the comment. Appreciate it! 😇💜

For sure. Deck Nine trying to copy Don't Nod's Max would make no sense and would be an awful mess considering every writer's experience is different!
Heatwaves was worth it for that adorable ending!
Glad you enjoyed reading it! 😇
@Player1vsTheWorld Alex and Steph were so cute in it! And the ending was so emotional (I don't want to say anything spoiler y lol)
Lol that ready for the mosh pit shaka brah in the beginning of the video.😆
You know it. 😉 A very fine addition from our very own Adam Evalt! 🎧🙇♂
You are helping me with my expectation management a lot, thank you😊.....still have a small bit of hope left for some more chloe screentime😅
Glad to be helping! Keep them tempered and you should be fine. -Adnan
Adam on Spread The Arts. 😂😅
Spread the arts is on the rise↗️📈🤪🤣
Adam kilin' it. 😎🔥

Replace Deck Nine at the start with Square Enix and I would agree. -Adnan

@@KatanaGirlUTube, that I very much agree with as well! 🤝 -Adnan
