Satisfying to watch as always. I was thinking for a while that I would write a comment about that I like a simpler type of vid sometimes. Then I realized that nothing could be further from the truth and how fantasticly well done this video actually is. The footage and the editing is spot on. There is nothing simple about it. Thank you for letting us hang out in your garage.
I know what you mean about the simpler style of videos. I would LOVE to make things more simple, but when I'm in the process, I just can't resist making each shot as creative and powerful as I can. It is what makes it all fun for me. I think you get me.
@@RADGarage I had to edit my comment. I missed a word ;) I think we all have understood that you are all about the perfection. And that is why we are here.
Soooooo professionally made, absolutely awesome ...interesting that the car was imported from Japan ...and that you're aloud to have a foreign (Dutch) licence plate at the front in Canada !?
Yeah, we don't have to run a front plate in this province so some people like to "dress up" their cars with foreign plates. I think it's cool, but I just run no plate on mine.

Another great job Rick! Bead maker is my go to after a maintenance wash. May have to give defy a go and see how I like it. It does seem that the base protection really affects how the maintenance sprays react. Thanks for another great video!

Another one given the rad garage treatment. You got a favourite process? I used to love claying but I rarely do it now. I'm a glass man. Love getting them windows so it don't look like there's glass in them.
We should team up. I love clay and hate glass. Well, "hate" is a strong word. I strongly dislike glass. My favorite is using a detail brush just after laying down a thick rich layer of foam. It is medicine for my soul.
I've been fielding a LOT of questions about that Dutch plate you have on the front. For that reason, I think you should extend me a killer deal on this amazing car! 🇳🇱👍

@@RADGarage Thanks. I definitely will be checking out your other vids. And I guess having a garage/space for doing the details does make it much more comfortable.
Hello Rick - great video as always. Thank you. I sent you an email through your website - there is a picture on the Home Depot web site of your garage as part of the QuickJack item of the day. It’s an older picture when you had the racetrack flooring. Still looked nice! Thought you would get a kick out of having your garage on the Home Depot site.
That's cool. I knew QuickJack used those photos on the Costco website, but now on Home Depot. Those photos were "gifted" to QuickJack in exchange for a BL-5000SLX unit.
Doing a detailed wash on a vehicle is therapy for us car enthusiasts, and your video is awesome! What brand and type of wash mitt are you using? Looks like it does an excellent job!
This was a great project from last summer. I use the merino wool wash mitt by CarPro. I believe it is linked in the video description. Thanks for watching!
Dest friend.Congratulations for this job.I am looking for the floor you have but I cannot find it.Maybe you can give me sone tip.I would be very grateful.Cheers.David from Spain
Awesome video. You may have mentioned it in another video, but I’d like to know what solution you have in the pump sprayer that you’re using to clean the tires and rims? Thanks!!
Thanks. I predominantly use Adam's all-in-one Wheel & Tire Cleaner in the IK continuous sprayer you see in many of my most recent videos. I love that stuff.
Good day, teacher Rick😄 Audi RS6 is really a beauty and beast, I will try Beads Maker next time. Could you advise the Foam Gun you used to clean Door jams in other video, you like use APC or degreaser to clean door jams?
That foam gun I used in the other video is an air gun by Tornador. It's the Z-011 model. You'll need an air compressor to use that. I put Mega Foam in it. That's what I like to use when I'm doing the door jambs or other areas with heavy dirt. You could use any cleaner you wanted though. That gun will foam any liquid.
Great job on a lovely car😎👍🏻 Looks like the owner looks after it, and it’s had a wheel refurb too by the looks of it. They don’t look like 16 year old rims anyway. Great editing on the video too, it was strangely satisfying watching the snow foam stage in slow motion 👍🏻 Have you ever tried any of the Chemical Guys range? I’ve tried CG wash and wax, and CG citrus wash and gloss, which I loved, then I tried Meguiars gold class, it’s good but I still prefer CG so I went back to wash and wax, it’s super slick, foams up great, and leaves a nice shiney finish. Smells great too!
For a 16 year old car, it is AMAZING how good of condition it is in. Not a single nick on the paint, not a single dent. I wouldn't be surprised if those wheels are in original condition. I'd have to ask the owner though. Seriously a nice car.
I have a few sliders that are motorized and operated by remote control. It's amazing how much of an improvement these little gadgets have made to my video footage. The camera is a Sony a6000 that captures 4K video. Thanks for the question.
enjoy your content all the time, very relaxing and theraputic! May i ask the specs your using on the end of your mtm gun? looks like it fans 90 deg....awsome work keep it up... from Australia
Your videos are similar to a music album that plays through quick, you know you enjoyed when you're surprised its over already. What tire dressing applicator do you use, it seems to be the same in most or all your videos?
Thanks for the comment. I like the album comparison. I try to create videos that have a flow and rhythm to them, so it's nice to hear that. I can't be 100% certain the applicator I used is by Adam's, I picked it up from a little bin at Carzilla a few visits ago. At any rate, these look identical: carzilla.ca/products/adams-hex-grip-applicator?_pos=5&_sid=dcc95e44e&_ss=r&ref=RADGARAGE
Hello, do you recommend using bead maker in my car wash, to offer protection to the paint of customers' cars and save time between cars or is it better to use a quick wax? greetings from Argentina
I give people a choice between a wax, spray sealant, or liquid ceramic coating. They all have their place and I just explain to them how they can expect each of those options to perform. It's good to have options. I think Beadmaker is a good protectant spray, but that's only from what I have heard and seen online. This was the first time I ever used it.
I got it through Obsessed Garage. If you want to check it out, here's the link: bit.ly/3f9cEsp If you purchase it through that link I posted, you earn me points with OG!
That has been with me for a long time now. I got it from Griot's Garage. I have a Gyeon wool one, but I always go back to the Griot's. Great little mitt.
Got it! But your videos are very professionals, rick. You do a very good job using iMove. I have 3 or 4 videos in my youtube Channel, and they all have a song that you use in your videos... hahahaha, sorry about that, but the songs are very good. I really want to make videos as yours, but no copy, with my identity. So far from this, but i will achieve it. Thanks one more time for your patience and youtube job.
That's a huge compliment. I look to other TH-cam channels for inspiration as well. I am absolutely blown away by videos done by Chromatic and X-talgic. They are geniuses. Also, I have no special rights to any of the music I use, but I always credit the artists who are so generous by allowing others to use their work in monetized videos. Good luck in your video making. I'l check them out a little later.
Just subscibed Rick, enjoy your methods of car detailing, what wheel/tyre cleaner do you use or is it a all purpose cleaner?.....looks like a great product 👍
Hi. Thanks for the sub 🙏. I primarily use Adam's Wheel & Tire Cleaner, but lately I heard some disturbing news of this cleaner possibly weakening the clear coat on brake calipers. I have been using it full strength and been impressed my its cleaning power, but I think I will be diluting it as I move forward. I haven't noticed an issues on my own car, but alkaline cleaners clean well for a reason - they are strong. I have all products used in my projects listed in the descriptions along with links. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I dropped the answer to the question about the license plate in the video description. 👍 I love how many Dutch viewers I am getting these days. I'm actually talking to a guy in the Netherlands about doing a podcast over there. Stay tuned.
Damn this Audi has better paint than my 2015 Audi, every time i use public pressure washer i remove more and more paint but the dirt just refuses to come off even tho i use degreaser first... idk whats up with that.. i should repaint front bumper, hood and first part of the roof above windshield... its driving me insane. In order to get some dirt down i need to come like 1 inch to the paint or it wlnt take off anythi g :/
Yikes. Where do you live? I'm curious what environmental conditions your car is being subjected to. Might pay to invest in paint protection film or at least get your paint ceramic coated.
Are these returning customers that have already maintained their cars? Cause I’ve never meet a wheel that can be cleaned without 20 minutes plus of scrubbing
Good question. The vast majority of people I work with are enthusiasts who have a strong appreciation for their cars. At times, they bring their cherished cars to me in dire need of cleaning, but most times they just want to spoil it. You won't see many "disaster details" on my channel. I tend not to cater towards people who have old fries and chicken nuggets between the seats.
I do this as a hobby so there's no real schedule. I do more in the summer when I have holidays. I do some projects throughout the rest of the year, but mostly in the summer time.
We are a nation of immigrants and it isn't that rare to see people put plates of the nations they have roots in. In Alberta vehicles are required to have a front plate so some drivers opt to install different types of licenses plates that they have a love of. One guy I know runs a Latvian plate on his Lexus ISF.
I swear, The US never gets great Cars/Avants like these.. Sure we got the sedan version but not the Avant. Of course, we got the S6 Avant(C5 chassis) but that's no where near the V8 BiTurbo... Okay, now that i've got that out of my system.. Let's go watch this video at Midnight mind you..
I feel your pain. Canada gets the shaft as well. I moved to Japan to teach English in 1997 and I couldn't believe all the cars they had from all manufacturers, that I had never seen before.
The owner is a Dutch-Canadian and like to pay homage to the land of his ancestors. In Alberta, we aren't required to run a license plate on the front so some drivers get creative with their front plates. I just have no plate, but you'll see all kinds of plates from around the world on cars here. I especially love the Japanese plates on some of the JDM cars around these parts. Thanks for the question.
In the province of Alberta, a front license plate is not required so car owners can put any type of plate they want on the front. The vast majority of drivers don't run a front plate, but this owner seems to love the Euro flare a European plate gives his car.
I have been asked this a few times. In Alberta, vehicles are not required to have a government-issues front license plate. It's been this way for about 20+ years (don't quote me on that) So, since people have the option of running any kind of plate they want, some people opt to have EU plates on their European cars. I even have a friend who runs a Latvian plate on his Lexus IS-F because one of his parents is from there. I opt to have no plate, but there's times I have considered putting a German plate on the front of my SQ5. I guess it has something to do with the fact that many of us Canadians can trace our roots back to somewhere else. I do know the owner of this particular car has some Dutch in his DNA.
@@RADGarage Awesome, would be so cool to run without license plates. They're ugly in The Netherlands in my opinion. Keep up the good work, really love the editing on the videos!

Another excellent job, it’s so relaxing watching your videos 👍🏼
So true. I tried to watch the final edit last night but fell asleep half way through. Had to rewatch it this morning before uploading it!
@@RADGarage Thank you for the reply! Keep up the good work! 🙏
I'll try! 🤘
Another great video.. great camera work. 👍🏻
Thanks. It's amazing what can be accomplished when you have the time. I didn't have to rush this project at all.
Amazing Work ✌️
Thanks 🙏
Rick wow!!! You use BeadMaker!!! I use it also my car and customer’s vehicles. Great stuff. Love your videos and music.
Terry from the states out!
Thanks Terry. Glad you enjoyed the project. I prefer Ethos DEFY over Beadmaker to end off an exterior detail but they are both good.
Wooow, Amazing
Many many thanks
Rick-- for Beadmaker application, was that the Detail Popo Ocean Blanket Edgeless 350? Thanks..
Yes. I may have used a 500 as well, can't quite remember.
Dest friend.Congratulations for this job.I am looking for the floor you have but I cannot find it.Maybe you can give me sone tip.I would be very grateful.Cheers.David from Spain
Everything you need to know about my floor can be learned here: www.radgarage.ca/swisstrax-floor.html
@@RADGarage Thanks for letting me know. I bought the IK Sprayer so I’ll need to get some Adam’s tire and wheel cleaner. 👍
It's an effective combination.
That gun will foam any liquid.
thanks Teacher Rick👍, I am your student🧑🏼🎓
Pns beadmaker one of my favorites ❤
That was my first time using it. I would like to see how it performs when he owner washes it next time.
wow that's a Japanese spec LHD C5 RS6!
Such a special car. I love the Japanese heritage this one has.
That’s my dream car! Where are you located? Good content and very professional.
Thanks, I'm just a weekend warrior living in the Canadian suburbs.
Great job on a lovely car😎👍🏻
Looks like the owner looks after it, and it’s had a wheel refurb too by the looks of it. They don’t look like 16 year old rims anyway.
Great editing on the video too, it was strangely satisfying watching the snow foam stage in slow motion 👍🏻
Have you ever tried any of the Chemical Guys range? I’ve tried CG wash and wax, and CG citrus wash and gloss, which I loved, then I tried Meguiars gold class, it’s good but I still prefer CG so I went back to wash and wax, it’s super slick, foams up great, and leaves a nice shiney finish. Smells great too!
For a 16 year old car, it is AMAZING how good of condition it is in. Not a single nick on the paint, not a single dent. I wouldn't be surprised if those wheels are in original condition. I'd have to ask the owner though. Seriously a nice car.
Hello Rad, seen a few of your videos now. Best at the job, period. Where can i find your garage if i want to get a detailing on my car? #subscribed
Mathias R I’m located in Calgary, Canada. Thanks for the kind words. 🙏
this deserves millions of views
If I could get a million views on this video, I would buy this RS6. I'm not even kidding.
Hi Rad, would you share tips how you capture all your videos and shots. Love the way you edit. What camera is used. Thanks
I have a few sliders that are motorized and operated by remote control. It's amazing how much of an improvement these little gadgets have made to my video footage. The camera is a Sony a6000 that captures 4K video. Thanks for the question.
Your video's are great
Thanks Alain.
@@RADGarage and now you also got a new folower on your insta 👋
Alain Veenman I saw that! Thx.
enjoy your content all the time, very relaxing and theraputic!
May i ask the specs your using on the end of your mtm gun?
looks like it fans 90 deg....awsome work keep it up... from Australia
Thanks. I picked up the Mosmastic swiveling spray gun and it came with a MTM 4.0 Orifice 40 Degree Spray Nozzle. I love it.
Good woork men 👍
We appreciate it. 🤘
Hé rick, is that a dutch car?? Youve got fans from Holland👍
The car was imported from Japan but the owner is a Dutch Canadian. 🇳🇱
@@RADGarage interesting car😀😀
Hi, what camera equipment are you using to shoot those sliding shots? Greetings from Finland!
MK Details A motorized slider and a Sony a6000 camera. Nothing too fancy.
NICE
Thanks
Rick: What / where bought is the stubby hand nozzle you use on the pressure washer?
I got it through Obsessed Garage. If you want to check it out, here's the link: bit.ly/3f9cEsp
If you purchase it through that link I posted, you earn me points with OG!

Dutch plates?😀 Gr from the Netherlands!👍👍👍
Yup! So many new viewers tuning in from the Netherlands recently. It's great.
Alright Rad Garage where did you get that small wheel mitt?
That has been with me for a long time now. I got it from Griot's Garage. I have a Gyeon wool one, but I always go back to the Griot's. Great little mitt.
You should do a challenge where you try and wash a car blindfolded and see how clean you can get it.
Challenge accepted!
Sweet..
Thanks!
Круто делаешь! Привет из России))
Thank you!
Amazing, Rick! What video editor do you use, rick?
I don't like admitting it, but I use iMovie. Will be making the step up to something more professional very soon. For now, I make it work.
@@RADGarage Thanks for the reply Rick and also the info on the product....appreciated 👌🏴
Rick hyoung handsome at the end of the video.I think I will sign a contract with Netflix soon. Rick hyoung! Do you specialize in Audi vehicles?
You're too kind! I have a lot of friends who love Audi's and the channel has attracted even more!
Mooie auto !
IwillBwaiting Yes it is!
The dutch plate belongs to a passat '98
That's so interesting how you guys can find that stuff out over there. I'll be sure to pass that info on to Dave.
RAD GARAGE apart from the ‘Passat 98’ thing. Why does he drive on Dutch plates in Canada?
I want to see the interior of this gorgeus car
If and when I do a complete inside and out detail, I will be sure to feature the interior. It's pretty cool inside too.
Dutch license plate?!🤩👊👍
Hallo Nederland!!😎✌️
I dropped the answer to the question about the license plate in the video description. 👍 I love how many Dutch viewers I am getting these days. I'm actually talking to a guy in the Netherlands about doing a podcast over there. Stay tuned.
Grappig he !
@@RADGarage Mid Sweden. I think its the bad carwash not the conditions.. Yea it sucks...
Get some paint protection spray on there to keep the dirt from adhering so strongly to your paint.
I L O V E Audi wagons
We should have more of them in North America. I would seriously considering adding one to my garage in a year or two.
RAD GARAGE I just sold my 2008 Audi A4 Avant , had 78k original miles and boy do I miss it. But regardless, GREAT work as expected from you !
The only way to get over the loss of a car you loved, is to buy a car you love even more. What are you driving now that the A4 is gone?
The car has dutch license plates ? Is it just imported?
The driver is paying homage to his Dutch heritage. We can put anything (or nothing at all) on the front of our cars here in Alberta.
@@RADGarage ok , thats cool . Wish we had that in the netherlands
@@peterp5655 I’m always a bit nervous our provincial government will reinstate the front plate requirement.
Te dedicas a esto todos los días o solo los fines de semana ?
I do this as a hobby so there's no real schedule. I do more in the summer when I have holidays. I do some projects throughout the rest of the year, but mostly in the summer time.
Dutch plates???
🙏🙏🙏
I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🤘
2nd from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
Always appreciate your enthusiasm for my vids!
This just makes me want to wash my car.
That is the best compliment you could offer.
why does the car have dutch license plates? greetings from germany.
👍
Dutch plates?!
Canadians seem to like showing respect to their ancestral roots!
@@RADGarage Is it legal to keep Dutch plates while driving in Canada?
In the province of Alberta, a front license plate is not required so car owners can put any type of plate they want on the front. The vast majority of drivers don't run a front plate, but this owner seems to love the Euro flare a European plate gives his car.
Such a shame his dutch plates on both his rs2 and rs6 were not from that type of car. Would have made allot more sense imho.
Wow, you are really nit picking!
RAD GARAGE i’m wondering why those Dutch plates are on the car? Also, love your videos, not sure why you only have 15k subs, should be 100k+!
Sjoerd Thanks so much.
