    Please continue to pray for those affected by Helene & please help supply their immediate, basic needs by financially supporting these organizations that have boots on the ground right now.

      I'm Fl & can relate. I was blessed & only lost med size tree limbs but fill my side & half my backyard. I've been working on them a little each day. Their to big to drag to the curb without cutting up with my saws-all, big job.

    Ground covers are such a good plan for that hillside. As an FYI there are quite a few great native NC ground covers that are alternatives for non native plants that are invasive. Creeping Jenny as an example is a listed invasive plant in NC. It’s just something to think about given how influential your show is.

    • @GardeningwithCreekside
      @GardeningwithCreekside  10 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      We are most likely going to use some natural debris in the bottom (logs, thick sticks etc) to help take up a bit of space and then we will use bagged soil in the boxes.

    • @FrediOlson
      @FrediOlson 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@GardeningwithCreekside Yes cut up logs from the trees that came down. Another question on the raised beds. Would it make sense to cover the 'debris' with landscape fabric, partially up the sides, to prevent the soil from going down into the debris? Just thinking. Thanks.
