Nice to see the line open again. What drives me nuts on the valley lines trains is the automated station announcements saying 'thank you' at the end of each announcement! (Thank you for what exactly? pointless noise) I hope this disappears on the new trains when we finally get them!
Amazing investment in infrastructure and nice to record the 150s going about their business, as probably for not much longer. A good solid design but they must be the oldest dmu left at around 40. They'd be ideal on heritage railways like the pacers.
I herd that Treherbert to Cardiff line will be close and open from 8pm to next morning all the way few to Summer on Sunday to Thursday and all open from firday to saturday.
Always interesting videos you make Mike, and enjoyable to watch, are you going to film along the Ebbw Vale line?, as you probably already know there is new track laid between Crosskeys and Aberbeeg Junction, with new platforms at Llanhilleth and Newbridge,
I continue to marvel at the mega infrastructure investment. Thanks for sharing.
Great film
Very nice 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Don't bank on it getting any better, the Rhymney line train announcements are even worse.
Tweeted TfW about the 'thank you' and was ignored as usual!

Thanks for the tip off, I missed that info. I'll have another £9.20 Valley Rover soon. Thanks again
so has Treherbert had a revamp or a new station.Oh how I wish Brecon were to reopen but cant ever see that happening tbh
No, have a look at part 2 of my clips this week. It's only had extra track in a new bay. Station building haven't changed; no need?
Be careful might be a ghost train at treherbert a 116 unit coming from cymmer afon through the blaenrhondda tunnel 🙂!!!!
Let us know when, there will be a platform full of us with cameras at Treherbert that day
9 months possession and they haven't replaced most of the decrepit ATW platform signs 🙄
I'm sure that will come soon. Not all the wires are up at the moment
