The whole “Toxicity” Album has no bad song by far the best selling of all albums of them from start with “Prison Song” to the end with “Aerials” this album can play from start to finish and every song hits home to me.

I remember back then there was no spotify or youtube. When this came out, we had to literally drive to a music store, go to those players withhadphones and have a prelisten before we bought.
Prison song. DAM. DAM DAM DAM DAM. "They're trying to build a prison". DAM. DA DA DA DAM.
I smiled. And bought it. Drove 20km in Germany from my small town to the next city to prelisten and buy, put it on the CD player in my car on the way back, and I freaking loved it. Love them still. What a band.

Chop Suey is the best intro to S.O.A.D.
    Aerials has the best transitions.

They flipped to a random page and it was Jesus speaking on the cross. it fit perfectly with the song.

I trained my self to play drums to this band. Played in 2 bands my self. As well they are a fantastic group. They broke up because of payment and creative differences. They recently came back together to put out an album for things going on in their home country. A lot of their songs are about the establishment, government, etc. Their songs are truly unique. You have to listen to more songs to really get a feel for their talent and ability. Their songs came out when bush was in office, but agreeing with another comment, listen to arials, toxicity (one of my favorites to play), hypnotize is also a good one. If you want to get into one of their more trippy songs, sugar is a good one.

Guitarist Daron Malakian, who wrote it with lead singer Serj Tankian, explained: "The song is about how when people die, they will be regarded differently depending on the way they pass. Like, if I were to die from a drug overdose, everyone would say I deserved it because I abused drugs, hence the line 'Angels deserve to die.

Serj Tankian is the Singer you Enjoy. He is a professional Operatic Singer (which is his Passion) and he left SOAD for "Differences" and to follow his passion. He has a song with Techn9ne called Straight out the Gate that Is Amazing (if your a Tech Fan) . As Others have said this Music was Incredibly Influential and Still hits home even Today.

Original song title was ‘Suicide’. Even back then the record big wigs weren’t comfortable w that-they ‘chopped’ the title and told them to come up w something else. Chop (chopped) Suey (their way of still working in the original title).

At 4:50 when Daron the guitarist is crowdsurfing that shit is real. I’ve caught him multiple times and one time he botched the jump and a huge security guard saved him and he thanked him sincerely several times. SOAD are nice good people but will light the pit up and it’s on you to survive

Never thought I'd live in the day and age where there are more people who's never heard of rock/metal songs. I thought I was a bit slow or late to start listening to the rock/metal songs and that was literally 20 years ago. And I still have those songs in my playlist today.
