Yeah that's the biggest downside with the audio to haptics so far, but different games react different AND the custom presets seem like they can avoid the music too, still more testing to do but holy crap I'm loving it so far. Hope for tons of native support on PS VR2, and more custom presets. They even have a Blood & Truth one I wanna try.
I indeed think those who started with Atari or later with NES are a lot more receptive to VR than liltards who grew up with Nvidia card... it's downright a miracle and small price in degraded graphics is absolutely worth it

Pricey indeed. It's hard to match the vibrations to what's happening on the screen in GT7. Seeing how the vest reacts when the car is idling and you rev the engine would be a good demonstration.

I remember a messaged you over a year ago telling you "Aj you have to try out this bhaptics vest"..you told me "I don't have time for that..I just want to be able to hop in vr without the hassle." And now you're in it!!! So glad you had no problems with installation. Never thought I'd see the day you on. Yes its expensive but just adds to that extra immersion. Haha hello my friend. The time has finally come 😂 and yeah you were right, this thing is SWEET. I can’t play compatible games without it anymore. It’s a really awesome accessory and honestly, way better than I was expecting. As for PCVR, EUVR has been a complete game changer. Sure it takes some tinkering, and I’ve had to catch up on years of info in a short amount of time (and still learning) but it has been completely worth it, albeit time consuming lol. i will upgrade my pc in August for psvr2 but this has me thinking that EVENTUALLY and seeing how much support Psvr2 will get, i might decide on it. PSVR2 on PS5 i think will be my daily driver.
Yeah even though I've gotten looooads of hours with the audio-to-haptics mode (and will get loads more) it kind of depends on what you have/prefer to play on. If you play lots of Quest/PC and PSVR2 it's a no brainer imo. PS VR2 alone, with enough native support then still worth it. I went from 1 hour of epic roller coasters to 9 lol
I'm not a trend chaser like most TH-camrs, I just go where my heart tells me, and this PSVR2 + PC combo feels right. Can't wait to play Returnal, Crash, Spyro, Ace Combat 7 and more with a PS VR2, it's insane!

Great job on the vid AJ! Like you said, it's one of those things, like VR, that you need to try in order to fully understand. Been using the Woojer V3 for almost 15mo w/PSVR2, and it has become a staple for VR gaming for me. It supports 3D audio, so you feel the direction and strength of anything that makes noise around you, which feels really good most of the time. Since it only supports audio to haptics with 6 transducers, it's not as accurate as the X40. I tried on an X40 last night just using its app to feel the different directional and more fine tumed feedback. I'm sold on it and will be upgrading to X40 this year. The native support is where bHaptics will shine over Woojer. I still really like my V3, but knowing more native support is coming to PSVR2 games, the X40 is the better option for gamers. Legendary Tales is going to be awesome!

AJ your previous video sold me on the tactsuit. I bought it an have been absolutely loving it on PCVR. I've omly tried on Beat Saber and Fallout 4 VR (both modded in) so far, but man does it really add a lot. I need to try a native game and see what it can really do. I also need to try it in GT7 using the audio feedback way.

That could technically already work with the audio to haptics mode. Runner is like that and it's insane. It feels like your feeling the thump of the Motorcycle stereo heh. It does work with music too. I have a lot more to explore with it, but so far it's pretty versatile.

Hey I watched your video last week and I bought the Tactsuit X16 on second hand market right away. Man thank you so much. This is what I always want for GT7. Do you have a preset for GT7 to share?
That is awesome! There is a Forza 5 and VRider preset that are pretty cool, but I even like just using the default Bass profile. Basically what you can do is, if there isn’t an exact profile, sometimes you can just find and similar game and presto! Like for Galaxy Kart I used the Mario Kart 8 deluxe profile and it worked perfectly, etc.

Yo AJ I have a question about connecting the vest to the PSVR2. is the only way to connect the vest to the PSVR2 through the audio cable? Ive been trying to connect my vest via Bluetooth with the provided usb dongle and it says bluetooth isnt supported. Are you able to get native feedback for the four supported games through the cable connection?
Hey man! Cable connection is only for audio to haptics mode. It connects wirelessly to PS5(native games) using the phone App. Download the bhaptics hub app on phone, connect phone to same wifi as PS5, connect vest to app, then run the game. App will recognize game and tap connect.
For this video I am using the Audio-To-Haptics function with PS VR2, it is a small stereo cable that plugs from the headset (with a splitter) to the top of the control panel on the back of the vest.
The control panel on the back of the vest has a little 3.5mm(steroeo) input. You plug a little splitter adapter into the headset jack of the headset, and one goes to headphones, one goes to the vest. I've just been using the ear buds because it keeps it nice n tight, and because I can't find my pulse headphone cable lol.
I've always believed that playing racing games makes you a better driver in real life. Perhaps it just helps your reflexes or something, but I believe it to be true regardless of how.
It fits everybody! Big, Small, Male, Female. I'm like 2x Julias size and we both can wear it. Very, very adjustable straps and also has buttons on the shoulders that can slightly lengthen/shorten.
eh these vests have been around for a long time now my friend has one but i personally would not use it it's already a chore to put on full body tracking for vrchat and for simracing i just use buttkicker and simagic haptics on pedals it's more realistic and do not need to put anything on.

How is it when playing seated such a GT7 and your leaning against the chair backrest?
If/when I lean back it's usually because I'm trying to be mindful about putting pressure on my lower back by sitting awkwardly.
