It should appear right before the Education tab.

You can learn about this stuff from TH-cam videos. This guy is just a good learner. He doesn't automatically know all of this stuff. If you ever start doing something like youtube, you should always be looking up more information about how it works. People know this stuff by trial and error because no one actually knows exactly how the yt algorithm works.
