As an INTJ I can confirm that this is true although I know many people I consider them to be acquaintances and associates. But there's only one person I think of as a friend and the imaginary ones don't count .
i love my intj bestie. since i know he feels more confident being at home, i often plan to hang with him at home and just watch movies. and since he knows i'm an enfp who loves to go out, he often offer himself to explore the world with me, even tho he doesnt like that much. as an enfp, i looooove being alone with him... to me, being with an intj is the same feeling as exploring a new place. intjs might be silent around crowd, but when intjs are comfortable with a few people, they get very interesting, sharing their ideas and deep passions. i feel like i was made to be around them. sometimes i freak out about little problems like "i dont know what to buy to my mom :(((((((" and he makes me see the situation in a lighter point of view, and i easily get relaxed about my "mini drama"
I have no friends except one of my brothers. The other members of my family think my demanding insistence on never lying to me was simply asking too much, and the general public I live around are borderline insane and emotionally unstable. I feel like the world around me is a Mike Judge movie. The one friend I have is a ENTP.
Yeah, I have less than absolute ZERO tolerance for wilful liars and it is an instant deal breaker for any person that is, was, or has a chance of being a friend in the future! I have only 1 true friend (he's an INTP) who has proven himself to be genuine in good times and bad.
I can see where is coming from, but I'd say I've never had more than 2 close friends at once! not that I've never had more than 2 people I'd consider friends at once.
I have no friends. No need for it. I have an Trustlevel for everybody, some people i trust more, but dont say they are friends. For me it would be unfair to other people, to count them out, or think a few people are more importent then everybody els. I know its a stupid logic, but i don´t need this concept "Friend". So to say everybody can my be my "friend"
@Die Wahrheit it’s mit dir sounds logical to me and I understand where you are coming from. I have a somewhat similar idea only I do use the word friend and if a person is high enough in level of trust I consider them family

I have 4 friends. I'm sort of an extroverted INTJ myself.
