- Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have a lot of cool glitches, and today we will be looking at some of the weird Pokemon Diamond and Pearl glitches! These are my favorite paired Pokemon games and although the glitches aren't as huge as Red and Blue glitches or Emerald glitches, there's still some really cool ones to go over!

its also not terribly difficult to set it up in the gen 4 games, its a pretty simple process, but it can be time consuming because you have to get the timing just right. my copy of diamond took me about 20 tries
I have both diamond and pearl and everytime i did the tweaking glitch (when done correctly) never crashed , and have all event pokemon , mine are italian copies

@@carristavolante6474 Bro bisogna stare attenti con il tweaking, prima di tutto avere sempre un flyer e un teleporter perché se rimani bloccato (a me è successo) prima o poi trovi una zona in cui puoi uscirne, non saprei sul crash perché non mi è mai crashato nel void, al massimo bloccato da collisioni invisibili quindi non saprei lol
@@marcopolo3386 quando ho fatto il tweaking sono entrata nel vuoto da dentro un edificio, quindi non mi fa usate né il kit da esploratore e né volo. Probabilmente me ne farò una ragione e ricomincerò da capo, almeno non farò gli stessi errori che ho fatto in passato e magari avrò pure più fortuna e diventerò più forte
@@carristavolante6474 se vuoi maggiori info ti consiglio il video di cydonia che lo spiega sicuramente meglio di me, ma basically si l'accesso più comune per entrare nel vuoto è tramite l'edificio a giubilopoli, ma andando in certe zone usando il contapassi e facendo save e reload il personaggio verrà considerato in svariate mappe del gioco, e considerandoti nell'over world e non più in un edificio non si corre rischio di non poter uscire volando o teleportando
I personally like the GTS evolution glitch the most since it is one of the easiest and least dangerous glitches to perform but these are really good too
Best Gen 4 glitch (works with both DP, Platinum and HGSS) it's to make Pokémon like Kadabra and Haunter and the like evolve without having to trade by:
- Placing them in the GTS (ask for something that prevents them for getting snatched by another player)
- Quickly find some very basic trade with another player looking for Pokémon
- Retrieve your Pokémon
- It's evolving!
Sadly this can't be done anymore since the shut down of Nintendo's Wi-Fi servers 😥
Facts thats why I bought diamond to trade with my soulsilver I wish it was still online :(

I actually set up the cute charm glitch on my real copy of pokemon platinum and it was so rewarding to do took a while to set up cause RNG but used this rng software to help out and now I can shiny hunt easily

@@nctjay not usually if you follow the right steps, but just in case you should always do it on a copywith a save file you don't care much about, ex. I used a copy of diamond after tranferring most of the mons to Black 2
it's also tough in general, in high school i used this to get darkrai and shaymin, and i did it on a copy of Platinum, which is way harder, its a very timing specific thing, so dont give up

My guess about why going to the great marsh with an arceus crashes the game is that arceus is supposed to have a different color ring, and so when you go to the great marsh, the game tries to change the color of the ring on the sprite, but obviously the player sprite has no ring.
That's just my guess though
XD my pearl crashes mostly in the underground at the worst moments
when you said 'a physical copy of pokemon pearl' I lowkey got freaked out bc that's what I have (instead of plat or a rom)
I did the void glitch on a english diamond copy and got darkrai. unfortunately i cant use the upstairs of a pokemon center because it shoves me into the void
I'm pretty sure there's a way to end the void thing and I'm pretty sure it involves using the void to go to some place and then talking to someone idk, do a bit of research but there is a way
It’s actually pretty easy to cure it. Just talk to the GPS worker in Jubilife and... that’s it.
I'm currently playing my Diamond and was deadset on getting all Sinnoh Pokemon. So, I went to Mr. Backlot to try and catch Bonsly by soft resetting. I got to one and went to Trophy Garden, not noticing that it's just 3 minutes before midnight. After 10 of no Bonsly, I went to Backlot and he just mentioned another Pokemon. Is that some glitch of sorts?
I have all 3 starters as a glitch and i just started both versions and all i did was choose Chimchar as my partner and when i won i saw the other two in my Pokemon menu
I dunno if this has something to do with playing on a rom or something else but when using chimchar on a rom of diamond it doesn’t evolve when it reaches level 14 but will evolve at 15 and if you taught it fury swipes it will try to learn it again. Haven’t really tried checking on other versions but so far this is a weird one

I came across the bike glitch randomly in Jubilife City back when the game came out, surprised no one posted about it at the time, but didn't think anything of it. I kept at it and got it to do the thing easily but never actually looked around in the void because of constant crashes
I've done the bike glitch, it's so freaking hard. Just keep trying
New pokemon games don't have enough glitches in them. That is why they aren't loved.
Bruh, I found a glitch where Barry doesn't appear in the Battle Zone, which softlocks the game weirdly
The shiny glitch is the best, i literally did it to every copy i own of gen 4, is not that hard to do
I’ve always tried to do this years ago, but I can never get the timing right. Is there a technique you do to get it? Or it just purely timing on abusing for the secret iD?
i actually found a better tweak glitch. it was at the bottom near the pokemon center.
A lot of misinformation about tweaking and the voidglitch, I hope if you ever do it you reach out to me, I can give you all the info you need aswell as show tons of unknown glitches :)

@@PaPaSea the glitch works on all versions, no matter the console or language. It does not behave differently on different games, the reason old routes (which absolutely should not be used anymore) didn't work consistently is because they ran through ramsections that were used for flags and items. Those routes also took hours, unlike the new routes. The routes on my channel only take a few minutes, and are 100% consistent because they use ramsections we can manipulate along with new research such as wrong warps. The tweak shown is also very easy to perform. Sadly a lot of the older videos that were made before the voidglitch was understood spread these bad rumors about the glitch.

@@gunter1019 if u mean the storage key to go into the tg storage, if ur playing on platinum, there's a poorly visible entry if u follow the road that goes to the town below (after the lake, the town below the pokemon restaurant thingie, it took me reading up a guide to find out u can actually enter a building from the northern side since it's so couter-intuitive + u cant enter with a bike either i think

Actually that's just kinda of an unstable tweaking method. There is a more effective easier method that uses the bike in the slowest as linked above.

I got the void glitch to work by using the slow bike setting at a lower point of jubilife city.
I remember it happening to me on accident
The tweaking glitch is not personalised to each copy. It works based on the pattern of tiles that you pass through where the quadrant intersects.

With fast bike by the lamppost, the pattern is 3124343.
At the quadrant intersection 32 tiles south of the lamppost one (each quadrant repeats across the map 32 tiles in each direction), you can achieve the same result with slowbike pattern 12421, which is way easier.
I'm surprised no-one in the comments knew this either as the glitch is like 12 years old ^^
from what I read and what I've been told it isn't so much that each copy is unique more so that some copies work easier than others
@@PaPaSea just do it on the bottom side of jubilife, it's the basic spot that's used for catching the leggies
getting the tweak started does take a few tries but should really be easy within 1h, and even 5 minutes

I just want the cool pokemon lol, never really thought about it. Besides those pokemon are already in the game on startup, you only need the event items to access that area. For example, New moon island and Darkrai are already active. You cannot access them without an event, however with void glitch, you can access the area without the event item needed. This makes the Darkrai, Shaymin, and Cresselia entirely legitimate pokemon, though Arceus is dicey with legitimacy. The others are fully legitimate since the pokemon themselves weren't illegally obtained, no hacks were used, and this isn't an exploit, since the games files aren't specifically altered.
tbh nobody cares how you got em, as far as i'm concerned, it's the only way without an AR to get the pokemon on a console, so either way, it's dope. there has been found a way to get any pokemon the way you want it to be with the help of the void tho, should be a pretty recent video too (-4months) , you should check it out, i don't think it can be done without a TAS but it's still dope that they found a way to do it in the normal game regardless... as for the rest, i think unless u play in toruneys and have perfect iv/eve on your pokemon, nobody is gonna complain lol, arceus was never even distributed iirc, so thats what nintendo gets lol@@Nightmare-wo2gd
About the pronounciation of the pokemon god, I've heard that you can just find it in Silvally's ability: the "RKS" system. It obviously has this name for some reason.
But I agree as long as we know what pokemon you're saying the pronounciation doesn't matter much.

Another cool glitch you missed out is the DNS glitch / exploit which allows you to get any event Pokemon or item from mystery gift by tweaking the game’s internet settings

I didn’t see their video. As I clearly explained in the video which you somehow missed, I attempted many times and it just didn’t work. I was well aware that something was wrong, hence why I attempted it on multiple different games
