Just a tip for ultrasonic cleaners. Fill the tub with water but put your cleaner and water mix and whatever you are cleaning in a zip lock bag. Keeps cleanup on the ultrasonic cleaner to a minimum and saves the water

It is a welded can BUT that outer sleeve is only screwed on and it WILL come off the baffle stack. Silencerco told me to screw it back on with red Locktite.

I dont like the sounds of that.I would rather have one that comes apart!

Lucas makes an ultrasonic solution that cleans and lubes all at once. Works well

A dirty can is a quieter can... shoot a rifle through it a few times and ir will be as clean as it needs to be

I have soviet corrosive and I wish I would have bought a TOUGHER can built to take apart!!

The outer shell comes off, it just unscrews. The inter cups are welded.

I bought the hybrid but I thought I read you don't need to clean it. That the pressure blows out any carbon that might build up unlike the .22lr suppressors that has dirty ammo..

I cleaned mine because I shot 22lr through it.

I’m not familiar with this method of cleaning. Did the solution you used do anything to the rockset they use on the hybrid to hold it together? It may be a stupid question but my hybrid came completely apart when the rockset broke loose on the internal baffle stack that threads into the tube.

I shoot many calibers through this suppressor. I just keep an eye on the fouling and clean it when I have time. I figure it is around 200 rounds.

Awesome video! I definitely want to try this on my Hybrid. However, I have to ask, how has the “can” been running since the cleaning? Have you noticed any pitting or wear on the aluminum?

    • @hobbyhoundsmt5525

hobbyhoundsmt Awesome!!! Exactly what I was hoping to hear! And I apologize for my “brain dead typo” before. I didn’t mean aluminum. I meant cerakote. Mine is finished in FDE and didn’t want it to wear it off right away. Definitely appreciate the video and getting ready to throw my Hybrid in the bath. #FightTheNoise
