This one finally came in the mail this week. Thanks for your video Dave, it's helped clarify a few small rules I must have missed in the rule book. I love how short n sweet this game is!

@@emmafradd Oh my word, you've played Crown of Emara ~10 times in two weeks?! That's amazing!! 👑 I'm sorry you haven't won a game yet, though! Someone on Facebook said something about how hard the AI was but after we talked for a bit he realized he was playing some of the rules wrong! You're not giving Victoria anything in round 1, right? And you know she doesn't get a card in round 6? Maybe you should film a solo playthrough so we can see how you can improve your strategy! 😉

What can I say I love Board Games 🙃 also the solo play go quick in Emara.Yep i'm not giving the AI anything in the first and last round...haha I have low key considered starting a board game channel! maybe when we move to America some day :) - for real though absolutely loving your play throughs and game suggestions. Basically our entire suggestions are recommendations from Board Game Dave lol. Keen for all future vids! Solo Play Endless Winter or Viscounts coming up? 🤠

Hi, Dave. I saw your post in a FB group re. 22 building points (starting position). I had been struggling to win on 30 and I was beginning to think it wasn't possible! I abandoned the game for 6 months. More, in fact. But seeing your post have hope! I didn't watch your play through, but felt I should try again. Tonight, success. So thank you. It took a week, on and off. I'll give it a rest for a bit, but 20 is already calling... And NOW I'll watch this video. A fantastic game with amazing interactions between the two boards etc.
Jonathan, I'm so happy that you finally beat the AI for this game starting with just 30 building points! Let me know if you're able to pull off a win starting with just 20! I haven't played since this playthrough but I suppose next time I play I'll be starting with just 17-yikes! 😬

Again, love this game. I don't believe, by the rules, you can have multiple craftsmans on a one resource place. That being said, I'm playing like you do. It makes more sense and makes the game more strategic for me. Love love love this gem.

According to the rules, it says “You may place up to 3 Craftsmen on the same Location” and I don’t see any additional related rules for the solo mode so I think I’m okay! Have you played the campaign solo variant? I’m excited that I won this game with my building score starting at 22! Thanks again for checking out the playthrough!
@@BoardGameDave my mistake. Thank you. Also, try my variant from bgg where you have all 9 cards in your hand. You play 3, left with 6 for second round and again, 3 for the last one. Shuffle, repeat. Choices go through the roof.
@@nuuqbgg Oh, yeah… I could definitely see that taking much longer to plan out/optimize your turns! Maybe I’ll try that solo sometime but I’d hesitate to play that way multiplayer because I think the analysis paralysis would be brutal! 🧠🔥
Finally I got to see this game! It has some nice features that make it an interesting puzzle for solo playing. I found out that also a friend of mine has a copy of it, so I'm definitely going to give it a try 😉

@@BoardGameDave I had the Noble cards arranged in ascending order. So the AI was getting more points even though I was progressing faster. I was keeping the favor tokens and using them multiple times. And I was not replacing the Advisor cards after purchase. Thanks again!
