Move to US, It's the only way realistically where you can have extreme quality, Variety of guns and many after market attachments, Even ammo are made precisely in a weight to twist ratio that gives you the most accurate and most energy out, also the Varitety of ammo is incredible, It's a bummer that legal weapons cannot be imported here

A fine video. The pistols look good.
The 1911 is as solid a platform for personal defense as it was a 111years ago. I , personally, like a chrome lined bore and chamber.
[I live in an adverse climate.]
My sole criticism is in the script.
Nothing much seems wrong with Indian firearms, themselves.*
*Many appear to be based on the same patterns as the (more common ) types available in the US between the mid 1970's and early 2,000's. About the same quality range. Some appear exceptional and others ..
    ...not so much.
The industry would improve if demand were higher. Most of the manufacturers would likely agree.
I'd like to see these on shelf's, here.

Kudos to Malhotra and sons for having come up with a handgun of the claimed quality in India. Kudos to you for the video.........the quality and presentation of the video to me happens to be the best that anyone out here has come up with. There are a couple of things that I'd want to point out, please do correct me if you feel that they are wrong. You have mentioned about good accuracy to a distance of 50m. Top notch custom 1911 manufacturers in the world guarantee a maximum accuracy guarantee of up to an inch at a distance of a maximum of 25m and also issue a test card with the handgun. Doubt if the Guardian is capable of such accuracies. Secondly, you have mentioned that the presence of a magwell facilitates handguns of larger calibers.........failing to understand the connect between a magwell and caliber. Magwells enable easier loading of magazines and that's about it. Not trying to troll or any such thing but being a firearms enthusiast, just wanted to clarify. Gripe........the very high pricing.

    • @drankurbaruah
      @drankurbaruah 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agreed 100%
Magwell helps align the mag quickly without much effort. Has nothing to do with the calibre of the weapon.
Also, low manufacturing tolerances don't mean a pistol's slide is going to be smooth. If anything, it'll jam easier with dust or grime.. because there's so less space between them.
A case in point is AK 47. It's built very loosely, with high tolerances.. while the American M16 was built to exacting standards. Guess which one ran smoothly in dust, water, mud and snow?
      The AK.
      The other one jammed.
But with loose tolerances, accuracy is lost.
So it is a trade off.

This is a perfect pistol for Indian gun market.
    But there are two problems:
    1. It is available in single action
    2. It's price is too high. In that price range one could own an imported firearm easily (colt, webley Scott,Smith and Wesson,Walther ppk ..etc)

Hello Mr. Mohan.. This is Ayaz, a gun enthusiast from Pakistan.. You have made an excellent video. A proper analysis, good way of explaining the details and above all i am extremely impressed with the finish of your product.. But i have heard that the gun laws in india wont allow citizens to bear more that 0.32 caliber and the process of obtaining a licence is also quite difficult for people.
Earlier i have seen some bideos of ashani revolver for civilians but it wasnt an impressive firearm..
Would you please make a video about the gun laws and legally allowed calibers of hand guns and rifles in india..
Thank you and all the best for your product and videos....

Amazing review, however one thing not global about this pistol, is pricing.
Since you are an international level shooter, you must be aware of international cost of 1911, which is hardly 500-1000 $. Equivalent to 40,000-80,000 INR.
That's why I am not proud, till date we make products, which we can export and compete in international market.
      Good Effort and information. Thanks

Sir , please make an uncut video of accuracy test , by mounting the pistol on a vise. Something similar to accuracy X of usa. You can get lots of videos of accuracyx usa on TH-cam.
