I love Homeworthy...not a big fan of real estate video advertisement. Please don't move away from the interior design and homeowner aspect of your channel. For clarity, my issue isn't the price tag of the home. It's the coldness of the "this could be yours" sales pitch. Your channel stands out because of the unique designers and true homeowners. ❤
The glass cleaning in this home would be never ending..opulent and over the top features..Hollywood's billionaire features for sure! Not homey for 'Homeworthy' in my book!
@@VeeLondon1449 good for you. There are plenty of other home tour channels all over YT that are nothing but sales vehicles to show properties on the market. Go check those out. Homeworthy on the other hand built its audience on showcasing the charm of actual lived-in homes, the people who created them, their personal items and the stories behind them. Not peddling sales pitches for RE agents.
This is beautiful but how come homeworthy just don’t say these are home tours not people showing their homes. She’s from a company it’s not her home. And you can tell to she was dropping names promoting brands 🤣Come on home worthy. Keep it real the way you did. Don’t start going all Ryan Serhant on us 🤣🤣🤣
With all due respect, they didn't claim she owns the home. Most of the homes on the Homeworthy channels are presented by the owners themselves. The Homeworthy team works hard to try and find a variety of properties to showcase and at times that may include homes that are presented by the designers, architect or relator.
@@gregpendrey6711Or HomeworthySells. I live about 30 mins away and wr used to go to Neptune Ave on Sundays after meditation. The cliffs are eroding...
You buy a house for years. The house by the cliff doesn't look inviting. The weather is crazy, everything is possible, even the cliff can be washed away with water. I understand that other friendly areas were occupied, so they started building right next to the cliff. But it's not safe. Additionally, climbing stairs is not for everyone.
It's so boring. Plus, they cut the steps out of the hill (at 4:00) under the house and left the hole. At least fill it up or make an alcove or something.
This is not for me to sterile, needs a lo tof decoration and why invest this much money to be eventually washed away in an earthquake or tsunami? and neighbors in your face, no privacy..... all these stairs? crazy definitely not a place to have kids around
I felt like this was an ad for the home. While it is beautiful and views are stunning, it did not feel warm and cozy, it definitely felt staged and not enough layers or textures to feel lived in. I would prefer a cozy beach bungalow without Wi-Fi at the chaises. But that’s just me 😂
Can’t imagine the cost & time to keep cleaning all those large glass windows from the sea salt accumulation. And not having any outdoor areas that next door neighbors don’t look right out on. However... with all the multi million dollar homes like this built on cliff sides that have been washed away in big rain storms it is of question why even today new home builders are still building on cliffs .... as home insurance companies are withdrawing complete coverage from homes in high risk areas that certainly seems a possibility with this home & those of its neighbors. Yes, the views are spectacular- no argument there.
There was a cliff collapse in Encinitas in 2019. 3 women who were sunbathing were killed. I would never buy a home near the cliffs even if I had that kind of money.
Why is it that the new developers tend to build industrial looking homes along the California coast? Certainly the ocean views are spectacular, but we live INSIDE, not outside. Nothing INSIDE this home is beautiful.
Striking home. I know the San Diego area, and the price does not surprise. I've found the world is divided (roughly) into beach, mountain and pasture people regarding their fantasy location. I visited Block Island, RI this past weekend, a lovely place with stunning ocean and peaceful inland views. As a "pasture" person I found it magical. I come back to Homeworthy time and time again to feed my fantasy life!
She stated “access to your own beach” and “your own beach access” various times because in their minds these people like to think they actually own the beach, and she’s wrong to give the impression of beach exclusivity.
The home already looks dated unfortunately. Not sure where all of the sqft is because all of the rooms that matter were quaint and pretty cozy. I love that she brought her mother for a personal touch. The name dropping is cringe, but the presenter seemed sweet. 27 mil isn't horrible but several spaces would need reworking.
I know every inch of Encinitas; it’s a cozy beach town with a hippie vibe and in fact the self realization Buddhist Temple and the beautiful garden is near this home, but this home is soooo cold, and looks like it is void of feelings, coziness, comfort and joy, not to mention this is a sales pitch? Homeworthy I love all of your home design videos, but this one wasn’t a good one.
Part of the reason I watch is for wonderful decor, perhaps something I can aspire to or become inspired by…but $27MM. Pls. And I worked in wealth mgmt many years ago.
I live in Southern California and we have people from other countries who will purchase this home as an additional property. We also have certain types that purchase as a way to flaunt their wealth. I'm not saying that everyone who is ultrarich has this intention but the show-offs do exist.
It’s sad people are here not for design but to be nasty about the presenter’s outfit. Even if you don’t love the home, learn what not to do and move on- being kind is not that hard!
I always say, $27M homes tend to be nice. I live in SoCal. I am surprised that it’s only $27M, but it’s not in LA. It would be $70M up there. A decade, I was looking at beachfront property down there. Too much hassle for areas that were not already built up. The property taxes on this property are $338,000 per year……….forever.
If you're in the business of selling a $27m home, surely you could find a dress that doesn't look like a clown threw up on you. I get that it's supposed to resemble those patchwork dresses from the 70s. If you're into that, at least put a modern spin on it, and have it made for your particular body shape.

$27.5 million for the neighbors to still be able to hear my family shouting at one another.
lol
I can hear you a mile away so knock it off with racket😂There are no secrets and forget pride😮❤
So true! 😂
Give me a 700sf beach bungalo over this any day (and we have 4 kids too lol)
The glass cleaning in this home would be never ending..opulent and over the top features..Hollywood's billionaire features for sure! Not homey for 'Homeworthy' in my book!
I am addicted to all of the Homeworthy videos… except the sales pitches! A $27M mansion is simply not catering to your audience. 😢
I’m a part of the audience, and I love it.

For that price, I would expect an escalator leading down to the beach.
I'd expect 14 maids and 23 butlers. And a partridge in a pear tree.

Should be under the name Homeworthy Light.

It's literally a cliffhanger. 😂
The house will last for 400 years or more? Or until the next mudslide?

I thought your channel is about celebrating talented designers and homeowners ... Not this?
I agree. It seems like a sales pitch to the 1%. Nothing personal at all.
Best thing about this video is the hostess’s dress. ❤️

Insurance and if you can afford this home finding help should benefit you!😂🎉

Nor interested in a self-serving family show Irrelevent Below Homeworthy quality and amateurish
I’m only confused why they brought in stagers to source temporary furniture, if they later needed designers. A designer could do this too?
I couldn’t finish this. Doesn’t seem up to Home Worthy standards, it’s just cold, boring, sterile and not welcoming. It’s awful.
Agree 100% plus the woman speaking felt like she was trying to remember her script 😑
Yeah, this one didn't strike my fancy.
You should respect the 374K subscribers!...this is embarrassing!🥀

Didn’t like this. It’s beautiful but feels cold and impersonal. This is not a forever home.
Forever in debt!
Yes I’ll take this please!!❤
are y'all gonna show the hillside sliding out to sea also? LOL This did NOT hit the mark for your viewers homeworthy!!!
Beach access isn't exclusive. If you can get there, you can stay there. You can't own the beach.
The access means the way, not the beach.
She stated “access to your own beach” and “your own beach access” various times because in their minds these people like to think they actually own the beach, and she’s wrong to give the impression of beach exclusivity.
It doesn’t feel like a home! It feels like a very glitzy hotel! NOT WORTH IT!
This video doesn't feel like the "Homeworthy" I know lol.. nonetheless I enjoyed the tour
Looks like a museum I'll pass if I had that type of money I could buy hundreds of home and rent them out and make more money 🤑💰
The kitchen in the garage with smelly cars!!! What!!!

Have to admit, I’m disappointed with your new real estate videos!
Love the TV cover
Another boring S Cal Mc Mansion that will "fall into the sea eventually". No thanks.
Private beach access🧡💚🩵

A lot of negative comments. I won’t bother watching.
Omg this is cringeworthy

I wish they wouldn’t let people from other countries buy our land
I’m shocked at the price- maybe I shouldn’t be.
Why all these pricey homes that have no soul? Won't be watching once again. And I live in San Diego not too far from Encinitas. 😂
🥰
It’s sad people are here not for design but to be nasty about the presenter’s outfit. Even if you don’t love the home, learn what not to do and move on- being kind is not that hard!
100% agree!
What a waste. Neighbors are always like 20ft away?
Just shows that money can't buy style .

No soul, not cosy. I only like the view
This episode was so disappointing. I'm not sure why you would even air this and no home is worth $27 million. It disgusts me actually.
Interesting. The fridge is not powered. The paint is not dry on this place.
If you have nothing "homeworthy" to post, post nothing at all.
Yawn
Couldn’t even get thru this whole video. So impersonal. Hard to watch and listen to.

I think she made it herself!
Probably broke after investing so much in that horrible house.
That’s mean and unnecessary.
Well, well, well, aren't we feeling nasty and jealous today ...
Let's show a little charity here...😢
Is she selling a home or cloths? If I were the owner I’d fire her!
OMG your dress 😮😢
Where's your 👒?
The dress is actually pretty if it was only made of that floral/beige fabric. It's light and airy.
@ 3:17 My knees aren't what they used to be. All those steps. I'd have to install a stair lift chair. Kind of would take away from the design.
One big, never-ending advertisement 🥱 (even the staged beverages in the frig) ugh
