Did anyone else picture the music from "The Bodyguard" when Batman was carrying Knightwing away? *"And IIIIIIII... Will always love yoooou... And IIIIII will alwaaays love you."*
Cause they know if they started acting up at a time like that Batman would lose his shit, they better stop and let him walk out or he would've been on supes side
He only won when he turned Superman and Batman from friends to enemies. It was one thing to kill the Joker after everything he did but after killing Green Arrow that’s when Superman lost his way. Batman should have let the Joker die when he had the chance many chances that he himself blew. Even his counterpart from the Dark Knight returns admitted he should have let the Joker die because he allowed him to live to kill another day.
Death Pork Sounded a lot like TyranitarTube. I mean, the guy REALLY tried making it awesome, but the voice cringes my ears. (Island, if you're reading this, I am sorry.)
Paolo Gonzales I managed to make it through it. I got all the way up to Year 4, I think. After the whole Trigon and Myzlpk (However you spell it) fight. Oh, damn, I just spoiled it. Sorry.
You mean to tell me that a highly trained acrobat and fighter like nightwing was thrown off balance by a small baton then fell on to a rock, killing him...that's bullshit lol
I freaking love this story line. Mostly Year One. It's so good. Nightwing's death could have been executed better but the rest is amazing. Especially the confrontation between Bruce and Clark in the Batcave. That's one of my favorite moments in comics. The dialogue between these two heroes, these two friends, best of friends, is written so well. You can feel the anger in Superman. To see Clark that pissed off is scary and great. These two characters are my two favorite heroes of all time (Spidey is my third favorite) and to see their friendship break like this was quite emotional. Really well done. They truly gives us a human Superman. At least in Year One. They show us that even Clark can break and that's fantastic. I love it when he's not a perfect person. When he has flaws. When he is conflicted. When he's human. I'd love to see an Injustice movie after Justice League 2. It could be Justice League 3 and they could split it into two parts. Kind of like Infinity War. Hopefully, WB will have introduced a ton of heroes and villains by that time. They don't have to follow the story beat for beat as long as they keep the core of the story the same. Especially the beginning with Lois's death and Joker's death and with Clark stopping these wars and dictators all around the world. Don't make it an elseworld story. I want them to tie it in with their main story. If they ever adapt this storyline, I hope they make it less black and white. I mean, Year One started of great. I've seen a ton of people side with Clark. Hell, I don't necessarily think he was wrong until he went evil. If they could somehow make it so that there is no true bad guy, just different ideologies and views, then that would be great. Not that I don't wanna see an evil Superman. It's just that I feel like it would worj better if he wasn't completely evil. I would prefer it if he was morally ambiguous. Have us go; "Maybe it is wrong for Clark to take matters into his own hands, but he has saved millions of people. He has saved lives and stopped wars. He's not going after innocent people. He's going after dictators and terrorist. Is he truly the bad guy here?" Let us decide. I don't think it'll ever happen but I would love to see it. Fingers crossed.
Supes had the right idea. The execution? Not so much. And Bats isn't to blame for Joker's repeat killings, its Gotham City's court system for not seeking the death penalty or at the very least not putting him back in a facility that can't seem to hold a dog captive for very long.
I am a person who sees Murder as Murder. The moment I saw him kill the Joker at his own hand, I was against him. To me it doesn't make it right to take a life just out of hatred or spite, even if that person has done bad things. So I personally believe Superman was wrong.
Abdul Rahman Al Raeisi I skipped it because there is a LOT more ot the whole Damian and nightwing and son thing later in the series, I didnt want to redo plotpoints
it's not a noble death, but I think that was the point. they wanted to convey the idea to the readers that in this story, there's really not going to be a hero.
Excellent!! I only would've added the moment Superman was in orbit and heard "...and just like that two heartbeats suddenly stopped", and when Batman said "...my son is dead..."
Marcus _ I know right? Other villains just use Kryptonite this and Kryptonite that and fail horribly. This clown son of a bitch mix Kryptonite in fear gas while planting a detonator in Lois' heart. The detonator even hook up to a nuke.
ChauNyan batman as character is complete shit egotistical shit. He's your iconic emo vigilante with no super powers. The Joker is compensating the whole franchise.

This would have been a better setup for flashpoint if you ask me. Flash still being the main character, but Superman losing it being the catalyst. I still wish Batman could be a villain for a change. Of all the people in DC, why not the one who teeters on the edge?
I guess it just has more shockvalue when superman becomes the villain. Think about it. Superman is the boyscout who always does the right thing and is the worlds one beacon of hope. Batman is just alredy so dark and brooding, that the character wouldn't change too much if he simply started killing people. Also, because he is he's batman.
Dusk vex As the years have gone on, Batman the character has become fueled by popularity. If you ask me, Jason Todd is right. You let the Joker run free for years. Hes got thousands of people hes killed. And he still gets out and kiils again and again. If you ask me, that shows that the system doesnt work. Just like the Prison system only works if there are criminals, Batman can only exist if there is a threat to fight. But wait! I thought the whole purpose was to stop crime, not perpetuate it, right? Not if the slobbering fans want more. TL;DR - No crime, no Batman. Nobody wants that.
Rough Douglas Perhaps because Batman has always lived on the edge of madness he is much less likely to fall over the edge in the face of catastrophe? Superman has always walked in the light. Darkness and madness are foreign to him. Making him less capable of cooping with tremendous grief.
To be honest Nightwing's death was one of the cheapest ones I've ever seen. He should have been given the dignity to die while fighting someone, not by breaking his bloody neck on a rock -__-"
I am sorry to hear about your passing, Mr. Ben Potter. you got me addicted to watching more Detective Comics videos and gave me a full comprehension of the comics, breaking it down to me as a 12-year-old boy. Given me a chance at escapism. The introduction of Injustice comics and voiceovers is what sealed my fate as a fan of your channel, Comicstorian and to Detective Comic. You were there on my darkest days yet still brightening by your light *Videos. Thank you for I am forever grateful I am debut to you Ben Potter, Comicstorian. May you rest in Peace. " I AM BATMAN".
Can we all take a moment to appreciate how good of a start this is to a massive storyline? And this video explains it perfectly, great job comicstorian!
For those of you wondering why there has been a few multiparters lately, Complete Stories are based on Trade Paperback releases, So sometimes things turn into multiparters due to that. Hope you enjoy! Vol 2 is sometime in August, you can all thank the Antman for making me focus on Marvel next week.
Can you please please do Superman: Emperor Joker. I love your work so much by the way; keep doing what your doing. I have always loved comics but never had spare money to buy them and read them constantly, but you help me out so much with my love of comics and made me enjoy them even more by given me a place to check out all the great stories, so thanks agian.
Honestly, Superman would never snap like this, no matter who died. In MoS he killed Zod to save lives, but killing out of vengeance and anger is not him. I know it's an alternate universe but I just had to say that.
+lastlife0726 dude...joker made him kill his wife with his unborn child...adding the millions of people who died in the explosion...superman may be strong and durable but he's not a machine...
Lol I hate him to but he is only one character night wing lol just get the gold one,and they should switch them around make Damian a bronze and Dick a silver or gold
Thanx for doing Injustice man! I actually asked for this recently. Next Story I hope to see is Earth 2/Earth 2: Worlds End & Convergence! Been my favorite series honestly
I commented saying the same, lol, Superman has a great point.. It seems to me Batman, like Captain America, need to have an enemy/battle/fight/war to fill some kind of void.. When the war stops? They're just normal ppl, and maybe that scares them the most.. Being normal.
he definitly does. even though i'm a huge batman fan and generally share his views, superman is completely right in this storyline. that one panel with batman saying "yeah i regret not killing joker everytime" but then still holding on to that stupid ass code sums up injustice batman (and if we're being honest, pretty much evry other version where he doesn't kill).
MrBackhouse36 He does have a point but the problem is where do you stop and draw the line. He didn't have to go after Arkham inmates they were already locked up he could've waited until they escaped so they'd be fair game. All the killing just got to be too addictive. That's why he's more wrong than Batman although Batman isn't effective in stopping crime.
Superman is wrong. It's ok to try and stop the wars but to install fear in innocent people is wrong. You'll understand more later but Batman is ALWAYS right.
Jean Rosa so funny how it took the creators of Mortal Konbat to create a DC universe this compelling and not the actual writers of DC Comics, they're too busy bastardizing every character they ever created with the new 52
I love Batman, he is far and away my favorite superhero. But I have to side with superman. How many people died because he refuses to kill the joker? I'd trade one life for millions every single time. Especially some one as sinister and evil as the joker.
if batman killed joker Joker would win cuz he would have been in batman concience every day and if he went down into that place he would never come back
Roy Harrigan joker still wins if that happens he proves he is like batman and he proves that batman is no better than the criminal that took his parents away from him
+jean c rolon that's b.s. Proves that Batman is willing to do what is necessary to protect people. The man that killed his parents wasn't protecting anyway. That's a nonsense comparison.
read the comic seires, it's great and he explains as to why he doesnt kill in general. and in Death OF the family story arc, he explains why he doesnt kill Joker specifically as well....
I remembering reading this paperback and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FACE BATMAN HAS WHEN SUPERMAN SHOVES HIS HAND THRU JOKER ITS FRIGGIN' PRICELESS !!!!!!XXDDD
You know, nobody asked the regular people in Gotham what they thought about the Arkham thing. Sure, justice, no killing let the courts do their work blah blah blah. Every other month Joker or Scarecrow releases gasses on the city. People live in wide awake nightmares that nice loveable Harley Quinn will bust down their door and beat them to death with a comical squeaking noise making oversized mallet just for kicks. The very grass they walk on could become horrible plant monsters whenever Poison Ivy feels like going to war with Mr. Freeze because he frosted a flower or something. For all of Gotham's finest and Batman's good work, all it takes is a snap of Penguin's fingers and the underprivileged of the city will line up to go to war, with Black Mask and Two face doing the same. Batman has purity of resolve and focus on what he believes is right, but he never really asks the opinions of those he defends.
Honestly Penguin & Black Mask don't threaten the city to the degree of The Joker or Scarecrow so It makes no sense to keep em alive since they will escape and do the same thing with even dire consequences
Y'know, I understand that what Superman did was wrong-- killing Joker and all that-- but he makes an awfully good point. Batman really should have killed the Joker. Joker really won't stop until he's dead, and every time he breaks out of Arkham, he kills more innocent people. It's just more pragmatic to end the cycle, if it means that you can save all those people the Joker would have killed.
TheBraveGallade Legally, you can’t execute an insane person. But I’m surprised someone like Deathstroke or Deadshot hasn’t been hired to just waste him
I know this is an alternative universe and not the main timeline. But relatively speaking, what's to say this isn't the main timeline and the our main timeline isn't the alternative?
Daniel sanabria How is that a plot hole? Obviously using the Lazarus Pit is the devils work and has its problem. Like you said it would cause her to go crazy. Second she was dead in space the Lazarus Pit only works on those who just died which contributes to the fact that they have to go the place where Ra's is and find it, even though Superman flies really fast im pretty sure Ra's won't just allow them in. Batman wouldn't even recommend it because of the side effects.
Am I the only one who gets a Marvel: Civil War vide outta the injustice comics not saying they're copying but the same vibes though from Civil war lol :)
Are you fucking kidding me? Thats how nightwing dies in this universe? I thought Superman killed him or some villain got a lucky shot in. Thats fucking weak sauce.
I have read the comic and watched this video and every time it gets to the part where Nightwing dies I always start to tear up. Nightwing is my favorite DC hero/anti-hero ever.
I like the fact that even the prisoners stopped fighting to let Batman carry Nightwing out the building
true
thats because they want to be able to walk again, if anyone got in batman's way they would quickly lose the use of all their limbs
Did anyone else picture the music from "The Bodyguard" when Batman was carrying Knightwing away? *"And IIIIIIII... Will always love yoooou... And IIIIII will alwaaays love you."*
How about "pay your respect"song from Batman arkham city :P
yeah it was sad even Harley started to cry
"All it takes is one bad day."
-The Joker
Damn that's true
I know which comic you got that from... and I love you for it
AffirmingToe except harley quinn had a good day before she went coo coo for coa coa puffs
Holy shit
AffirmingToe I'm not the only one that understood the killing joke reference
I liked how even the villains in arkham kind of "paid their respect" towards night wing as he was carried by batman
They didn't have a "shocked face" doe
***** Thye're phycopaths
Cause they know if they started acting up at a time like that Batman would lose his shit, they better stop and let him walk out or he would've been on supes side
+GKING0906 Harley cried and she cant even get his name right lmao.
GKING0906 I think they just paid their respects because None of them have ever seen Batman actually grief, which is sad enough even for them
"Get the Hell out of my ocean." Fucking, badass.
ikr #DONTFUCKWITHME
+Zaiyan Khan (Z) 9:07 Arthur's outfit is Freaking Sick
The one time when you want Flash to mess with a timeline.
Lovely Wolf agreed he’s honestly a little selfish, it would be a much better world if Lois would have lived
CyberTiger 45 you saw what happened in flashpoint. He’s not being selfish because if he was to change what happened the whole world might be at risk
I can tell already that in this War No One Win's except the Joker.
Vermillion Stallion i agree
He only won when he turned Superman and Batman from friends to enemies. It was one thing to kill the Joker after everything he did but after killing Green Arrow that’s when Superman lost his way. Joker: "All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man to lunacy..."
Xenos369 ..................................Well at least he got it right?
Or nuclear abortion
You sir are one smart man.
Love that show
Xenos369 the killing joke
Love how even the villains stopped fighting after Batman picked up Nightwing
I tried watching this on another channel. Tried.
Paolo Gonzales who was that, WE SHALL KILL THEM
ComicsExplained :P
Comicsisland tried too. But I hate their voice overs. I couldnt watch it :P
Sorry.
Damian: STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO (Kills Nightwing) oh....oh my god....I didn't mean to kill him, I just wanted the high score....WHY GOD!!! WHY!!!!!
Anyone else tear up when night wing died?
No
rest in peace night wing
not at all
ill tear up if alfred dies
Everyone should stop being a dick to nightwing
This reminds me of Civil War. The two biggest heroes come to a disagreement, and the heroes are forced to pick sides.
yea but the difference here is superman is wrong for what he did
@twizzlerlemonpie3083 but joker does deserves to really burn in hell
God that is a dumb way for Nightwing to die.
Damien Wayne is a worthless, ungrateful, self entitled, foul mouthed, mis-behaved, piece of shit.
Lol great parenting, Bruce.
Actually I judge Nightwing more. He sucks in this.
I literally CRIED when he died
Like he literally can't take his own weapon to the head. But can get hit by like everyone else. Its stupid.
***** Indeed. Next Batman might die from a rouge Bat-a-rang.
Nightwing got killed by a rock...
00000000
Well, Dwayne is pretty buff
+Ahab Venom Well...it WAS a big rock.
+Symbiote God well played good sir well played
Symbiote God well... I can't say something against that
DC Should make an Injustice cartoon adaptation
+Mijat Bojovic Only if it's as good as The Dark Knight Returns or Flashpoint.
+Mijat Bojovic Its so fucking beautiful this entire comic is fucked up and great
What a great idea!!!
A charming little animated serie that starts with the world's biggest ciity being nuked, and 10 millions people being killed.
Hiess so basically a kid friendly show
No deaths
Who else cried a little when you saw Batman carrying Knightwing and the music got all sad
I did, i love nightwing a lot, and im screamig actuaLLY.
Killer Frost I wonder what the name of that song.
You mean to tell me that a highly trained acrobat and fighter like nightwing was thrown off balance by a small baton then fell on to a rock, killing him...that's bullshit lol
Joker is like "It's just a prank guys!"
The title would be "prank gone wrong!"

why didn't you add the part where Robin says " look at me father I am your son" then Batman replies " No you killed my son"

Injustice series: one of the best thing that ever come to DC comics right now
If Wonder Woman told him, none of this would've happen!!!
I really hate Wonder Woman in this. She's the one pushing Superman to become evil
If The Flash looked through all of Metropolis, how did he not find the nuke?
TRUE The Flash is was probably being lazy
Wasn't it "underneath" Metropolis? So it was probably buried.
+JonHT96
But superman was searching underground
shadow boss Underground is a very big area. So, even still, he could've missed it.
Ever heard of plot armor
This is like DC's version of Civil War.
Yeah but on a much larger scale
Plus if they made a film about this, it would be insane
ProfessorCrooks True
If this was a movie, it would gross billions.
Ferraro14 * That would make for a bitchin movie.
ProfessorCrooks It is, but way better.
I laugh everytime I see nightwing die in this comic. Holy shit, they couldn't of given him a less noble death.
chiefomeili I know lol like trying to save someone or something but just bang stick to the head fall neck broken WHAT ??
If only he had some grappling hooks in his armpits.
Frank miller.
it's not a noble death, but I think that was the point. they wanted to convey the idea to the readers that in this story, there's really not going to be a hero.
I liked nightwing :(
Alternate universe. Nightwing is alive. Well...sorta.
SPOILER
He becomes Deadwing later on
Manuel Oliva good one
Outside Gamer No joke he actually becomes the next Deadman calling himself Deadwing
Manuel Oliva for God's sakes. I need to catch up on my comics
The animated movie, The comic book volumes, and video game shows how superheroes betray their allies, becoming a super serial killers as Tyrants
Excellent!! I only would've added the moment Superman was in orbit and heard "...and just like that two heartbeats suddenly stopped", and when Batman said "...my son is dead..."
Let's be honest most of us are here because of the game
Thats the whole reason they made this comic
Living Trash um no
I love the Injustice comics. I'm so glad you did this :)
Joker trolls Superman
King_Isard_of_Io and then he promptly died.
The Joker is by far a better villain than Lex. Lex's methods are too generic and predictable. Joker on the hand, made Superman's life a living hell.

God the art work is so amazing. The story is brilliant. Would be nice to have a movie version of this story.
There's a game version which is like a movie I guess...
Man I love the fact that even the villains stopped fighting when nightwing died
I didn't cry when Dock died... No I'm cutting onions

wait in the game Aquaman was on the regime and in the comics he's on the insurgency, is anyone else confused???

Noah Bragg011 I like the pose and the costume
DEADASS he always acts like a brat
This story is awesome! Comicstorian deserve so much more credit than they get can't wait for part 2 and hopefully 3 keep up the good work
Thanx for doing Injustice man! I actually asked for this recently. Next Story I hope to see is Earth 2/Earth 2: Worlds End & Convergence! Been my favorite series honestly
Am I the only one who agrees with superman? I mean he has a point
Sups is right. Batman was in the wrong there. Bruce was too stuborn in following his code rather than to dk what was right.
So this is kind of like Dc's version of Civil War, I like it.
It's based off a video game ...
yea I know
Jean Rosa i think kingdom come is like the marvel civil war
Jean Rosa so funny how it took the creators of Mortal Konbat to create a DC universe this compelling and not the actual writers of DC Comics, they're too busy bastardizing every character they ever created with the new 52
time for an injustice comicstorian marathon
Same lol
yup, same
this comic was so damn emotional geez. Nothing else had my heart racing and tears running like this.
Superman is better than batman in physical strength but batman is better than superman in mental strength
John Conor
Hmmmmmmm saying batman has good mental health is streching it
I love Batman, he is far and away my favorite superhero. But I have to side with superman. How many people died because he refuses to kill the joker? I'd trade one life for millions every single time. Especially some one as sinister and evil as the joker.
if batman killed joker Joker would win cuz he would have been in batman concience every day and if he went down into that place he would never come back
And he would've saved countless thousands of people liked by the joker...
But the death of one is a tragedy. The death of one million is a statistic.
- Josef Stalin, _the Man of Steel_
I always wondered why batman let some of those villains go. Joker should have been killed way back.
Gamal Elkordy I totally agree with you. He definitely deserves a death sentence. That's why I was so surprised he got bail in the Batman Hush story
i was curious too...but i just assumed its because dc doesnt want to kill villains so they can keep using them unlike mangas
Gamal Elkordy In some alternate universes the Joker does die. Although this is usually not do to Batman
read the comic seires, it's great and he explains as to why he doesnt kill in general. and in Death OF the family story arc, he explains why he doesnt kill Joker specifically as well....
Watch Variant Comics' Why Batman doesnt Kill...
That was sad......I'm crying right now
I remembering reading this paperback and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FACE BATMAN HAS WHEN SUPERMAN SHOVES HIS HAND THRU JOKER
ITS FRIGGIN' PRICELESS !!!!!!XXDDD
That was some really awesome and intense reading, especially Superman's angry voice. Keep it up, guys.
"My son is dead" so many feels there. You should've read that part.

***** There was a line where he put the helment back on to "hide" his emotions. We skimmed the arguement to just bring you the put of it.
Comicstorian
Thanks for clearing that up
Nightwing was unaware of what that rock was cooking.
you're actually amazing at telling stories man. Gifted. Felt like crying when nightwing died
True, but look what happened to Superman after that. He basically became SuperHitler.
Because of writing
l yagami Exactly. It's possible to kill one bad guy without going off the deep end, and becoming a despot.
Well then the government should have orderd his execution then.
Banman's right, vigilantes don't decide who dies, the law does.
TheBraveGallade
Legally, you can’t execute an insane person. But I’m surprised someone like Deathstroke or Deadshot hasn’t been hired to just waste him
What I can't understand is how the fuck they are gonna go through this storyline in the movies. This will take fucking forever.
your right
Injustice isn't getting a movie.
it is
Wedge Lad I'm pretty sure that was never
confirmed or even announced, and if it is what would it be called.
I mean im pretty sure it was confirmed. And it had a major teaser in Batman vs Superman
How is Scarecrow in Injustice 2 if he dies here.
joker781100 from a different universe
I like to think everybody was a little afraid of him so he still lives on in his gas
It's only one scarecrow it can't be others it's only one Jonathan crane
DAYUM! I had no idea how great this was! Thanks for making this, and I can't wait to see your part 2!
One thing I love about this series, is that it's the DC Version Of a superhero Civil war. And How dark the story can go.
I know this is an alternative universe and not the main timeline. But relatively speaking, what's to say this isn't the main timeline and the our main timeline isn't the alternative?
They killed my favorite superhero right away
I almost cried when nighttime died
Nightwing
Nighttime? Who is nighttime
sam s Choi he is the hero of auto-correct.
ErMelator He puts his enemies to sleep.
Jared Thompson With a mere "nighty nighty"

Batman Death In The Family 2 Confirmed
XD
I never knew I'd enjoy comic e-books so much! They should consider doing this on their own.
Yah something I suggester could you cover all the years up until the present?
ZakYT We are, it'll probably be a every other week video for awhile
I can understand that they needed a story but, Why didn't they just use the Lazarus pit to bring back Lois?
COPCO77 she could come back fucked in the head like jason todd. but you know, plot holes are plot holes
COPCO77 because plot advancement
Daniel sanabria How is that a plot hole? Obviously using the Lazarus Pit is the devils work and has its problem. Like you said it would cause her to go crazy. Second she was dead in space the Lazarus Pit only works on those who just died which contributes to the fact that they have to go the place where Ra's is and find it, even though Superman flies really fast im pretty sure Ra's won't just allow them in. Batman wouldn't even recommend it because of the side effects.
Prometheus Gorz relax xD it's a joke
Lazarus pits drive you insane. Ra's wants batman to replace him because his mind can't take it anymore.
Am I the only one who gets a Marvel: Civil War vide outta the injustice comics not saying they're copying but the same vibes though from Civil war lol :)
Yeah guys finally I wanted you guys to do this series.!! Hope that's guys will put up the whole series it's one of the best (y)
Man batman and superman's friendship is like no other. Thats why it hurt when the drastic events unfolded.
Are you fucking kidding me? Thats how nightwing dies in this universe? I thought Superman killed him or some villain got a lucky shot in.
Thats fucking weak sauce.
Right? The Human race just sucks. We're so weak to everything.
SPOILER
Don't worry Nightwing is coming back
popodono+ Dude this is not marvel, marvel is dumb. In marvel no one dies even after falling from 10,000 feet.
Minato Mage and then they come back to life honestly it's the problem with both Marvel and DC
Can someone please tell me the name of the song that plays from 12:20 till the end of the video
so wait, were we fighting on the wrong side in the video game?
This might be the best DC alternate universe comic series there is out there. You can't seem to get enough. Shame it has to end after season 4.
"It doesn't matter as people are fighting" Good summary of Injustice.
whats the end music sound track that you have in a lot of ur vids
Superman is right tbh
So, is this like the DC equivalent of Marvel's Civil War?
Except better and people die a lot
Kinda, I'd say Kingdom Come is more of the DC equivalent
this whole story kicks ass honestly.. some great fights as well
I have read the comic and watched this video and every time it gets to the part where Nightwing dies I always start to tear up. Nightwing is my favorite DC hero/anti-hero ever.
I still see Superman as an anti-hero. He has a the right idea about how humans should be handled sometimes. They are like children and need guidance.
By guidance you mean a totalitarian rule if you speak out against it you get killed.
