I have a fun idea. Let’s run this like an actual battle. So let’s say Lance starts off with Body Press which is 4x super effective and has some Def Evs since it’s Lance and a neutral nature. He would one tap Aurous even if she had max Def Evs since Dragonite base Def is 95 and Aurous base Def is 75. Also, Reflect would not matter as Dragonite is faster than Aurous. So saying Dragonite loses based on type is ridiculous and the only way she could withstand the attack is if she had the berry that cuts fighting type moves damage in half. Therefore Dragonite bodies Aurous

So far Lance's Dragonite knocked out an opponent, Iris' Dragonite and Ash's Dragonite were taken out easily by Cynthia's pokemon. Ash's Dragonite has to make up in the battle with Leon.

Not really, Diantha’s was just stronger, Aurorus had the type advantage over Dragonite but still lost; however, Dragonite took lots of damage from Aurorus; Gyarados had the type advantage over Gourgeist, it’s part flying type so Gourgeist grass type moves wouldn’t be super effective , it used Trick or Treat to make it weak to Ghost type moves, Hydreigon had the type advantage over Gourgeist and won, it faced off against Mega Gardevoir who one shotted it because stab moonblast that’s from a pokemon with 165 special attack and not to mention it’s 4x super effective against Hydreigon meant it would get 1 shotted; it was an already injured Dragonite vs a Mega Gardevoir that didn’t take damage, Lance dynamaxed it for Hp increase to make Dragonite withstand a little longer but because of Aurorus Damage, Mega Gardevoir could easily win

Dragonite using Body Press was a equalizer in this match. A fighting type move is 4x effective against a ice and rock type like Aurorus
